“Charlie had a great time and was well cared for. Kerwin graciously sent us lots of photos and videos. It reassured us and helped us to relax while away. I would highly recommend her. Charlie received plenty of exercise and cuddling.”

“Jessica is incredibly responsive to inquiries and requests. She sends updates daily with photos and often times multiple throughout the day. Her home has always been welcoming to our 3 year old dachshund. Her dog and her other dog guests have helped our puppy adjust to socializing with others. Most of the photos updates we receive are of Francis curled up right next to Jessica as humans are still preferable and Jessica provides that comfort.”

“Bowie was excellent. Great communication, lots of updates and videos. Made sure the dogs were active and managed them with his other guests very well. Gave me a lot of piece of mind while away for several days. I would absolutely recommend Bowie and plan to rebook with him the next time I need help watching our dogs.”

“Our dog knows when we pull up to Anne’s house. She will run up to the door and start wagging her tail until Anne answers the door. We feel at ease every time we drop her off knowing our dog loves being at her house.”

“Christy and Lane are awesome! From the first message between us, I knew Duke was going to be in great hands during his doggy vacation. Christy and Lane keep you informed about how you dog is doing, making your time away from your fur baby much easier.”

“Debi and Johnny are absolutely the best. I trust they love Gus and will care for him just as we do. And most importantly, will be honest about his stay. Thank you both!”

“Great sitters! Clean home, friendly, good communication, and my dog Brownie seemed very happy there! I felt comfortable leaving Brownie there & I will definitely be using again.”

“Karen took great care of our pup Bernice when we went out of town for a few days! I was nervous boarding her because she’s just a puppy and has a lot of energy, but Karen seemed to have handled her just fine. She sent us a few pics of Bernice playing, which made me feel better about leaving her. We also liked that Karen has a big back yard too, so Bernice could run and play without us worrying about her running away!”

“She was amazing and very fitting accommodating to what we needed even during emergency situations I will definitely book again if needed in the future! she even helped my nervous dog, very comfortable around her and other dogs, I also loved how there was a lot of room for my puppy to run around!”

“Robbie is awesome! Took wonderful care of our babies. Sent pictures and videos to update us while we were away. We will definitely rebook with Robbie on our next vacay.”

“Always piece of mind when Hazel & Hannah are in Norma’s care. She is reliable, flexible & shows true interest in your pet’s needs. They are relaxed & happy when I return. Thank you to Norma, her family, & Rover for another great experience.”

“Nobody will love and listen to your pup like danielle! I know oakie is always in the best hands whenever he goes to stay with her! She wants to know all their little quirks so she can take care of your pup as best as she can!”

“My Thor had a good time with Mrs Regina and Ted. He’s a little Maltese so I think he had to warm up to to larger dogs but he finally came around but he definitely loved snuggling with Regina and Ted. They kept me updated with pictures and made me feel connected to my baby on his first visit. I would definitely recommend and rebook”

“Hannah was absolutely amazing with Lady! She provided exceptional care, kept me updated, and was incredibly communicative. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter!”

“Chris has watched my dog several times now, and she must love staying with him. She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. Chris consistently sends photos and videos, which is such a comfort when you’re away and missing your pup. Knowing she wants to go to his home gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommend him.”

“Valeria and her family were great! They took care to make sure Merl got his medicine. Their home is spacious with a lovely big yard. I know Merl had a great time and we'll be back in the future!”

“Ashley was great with Kona. I could rest assured he was in good hands while I went on a trip. She sent me pictures and texts every day so i knew he was ok. I would absolutely recommend her for especially big dogs.”

“I left my dog Logan with Ashley for a few days. I’ve gotta say Logan seemed to really enjoy himself. He loved that there were some other doggies to play with, and he even ate most of the food I brought him which he never does - so that shows me he was not sulking - and he probably worked up a great appetite playing with his new friends. I know that is true because he slept for two whole days afterwards. LOL!! She texted me adorable pictures and sent him home with treats. I highly recommend Ashley and will definitely be calling on her again.”

“Our pup was treated just like he is at home! He had lots of play time, cuddles, and love! I received lots of pictures and updates! We will definitely be using them again! They made the whole experience easy and comfortable on us and our dog!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - The Village
Anna is the first sitter we’ve had who arranged a time for our dogs and her dogs to meet before the stay. She is also the first sitter who allowed us inside her home to see where our dogs would be day to day. She is very on top of bookings and communicates proactively. During our dogs’ stay, she sent cute updates, and gave great details that displayed her attentiveness to them. We will definitely be booking with her again!

I am a helicopter dog mom and my crew are my everything. Justin (and his wife) made our time away completely stress free! From communication, to the meet and greet and updates and pics all throughout the stay! We were blown away by their love for our little monsters. They've been crashed out since we got them home and it's hard to wear them out. Thankful to have come across his profile Absolutely will use them for any future vacays! They rock! 🩷💜

I would highly recommend Brittnee! She is the absolute best. Our dog is an anxious Newfoundland and she made him feel right at home. She even ran to the store and got him pumpkin to calm his stomach down. We received daily pictures and communication was great. You can tell she loves animals. We WILL be using her services again. ◡̈

Lady had such a fun week with Kayleigh, Mike and their fur family Tito and Paxton. Highlights included multiple walks per day and non stop wrestling matches with Tito. Although there was no clear winner to the wrestle matches they both ended in high spirits and looked forward to their next meeting in the backyard. We received constant pictures/updates throughout her stay which we really appreciated. We know they took great care of Lady and treated her like their own. We would highly recommend Kayleigh to anyone!

Chrissy and Josh were a perfect choice to take care of our three dogs while we were out of town. Their home was so calm and inviting and their personalities made our dogs feel safe and relaxed. The pictures that they sent us showed our dogs happy, relaxed and well-taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
