About: Hi there :) Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I’ve had the opportunity to care for all kinds of animals over the years, including fostering, and every experience has reminded me just how different each animal’s personality and needs can be. I’m also a very proud cat mom to two cats who are truly my life. They’ve taught me that caring for an animal is about so much more than food and play time. It’s about learning their little quirks, respecting their boundaries, earning their trust, and becoming someone they feel comfortable around! That’s what I hope to be for your pet, a safe, familiar person they can trust while you’re away. I love getting to know an animal on their terms and building that bond with them. Your pet’s wellbeing will always be my first priority. I’m always happy to meet beforehand, especially for longer spans of care, so you can feel comfortable with me and we can see how your pet and I connect. I want you to feel confident that when you leave them with me, they’re not just being looked after but truly being cared for and loved in a way that best fits their needs! I work from home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and can accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. I’m happy to work with you on timing and make sure your furry baby gets plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away! I’ll be caring for your pet in the comfort of their own home, where they already feel safe and familiar. I’ll take the time to learn their routine, personality, and little quirks so they feel comfortable with me. I’ll also send regular pictures and updates, so you never have to wonder how your furry baby is doing!!

About: I’ve been a foster dog parent for years. I’m extremely comfortable with dogs of all types. I take genuine pleasure in getting dogs active and making them happy! I have free time everyday, and I want to spend my days taking care of dogs! It’s something I’ve done in the past and I want to spend my time this way now. I personally have 2 big dogs, so taking care of dogs daily is already part of my schedule. I feel like taking care of other’s pets requires similar skills, and being a great listener on how to provide the best service for them!

About: Lifelong cat and dog owner with hands on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I understand how important it is to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care, and I treat every pet like family. My experience has given me strong instincts for animal behavior, comfort, and safety, making me a trustworthy choice for your pet care needs. Pet care is a perfect fit for my schedule, especially on weekends and holidays when I’m actively looking to stay busy doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love spending my free time caring for animals, whether that’s providing companionship, check-ins, or taking dogs on safe, fun walks around the neighborhood or at the dog park. If approved by owners, I’m also happy to include social walks with my own friendly dogs, giving pets extra exercise and positive interaction. I take pride in providing the highest level of care for pets in the comfort of their own homes, where they feel safest and most at ease. Kat is great, my husband and I have used her a lot this past month! We needed more of a long term plan with making sure our dog Koda who is a Pomeranian gets out for a walk with our busy work schedules. For us, our dog is like our child, and means everything to us, it’s hard for us to be trusting of not only someone coming into our home, but also taking care of our dog. So I had to do my research and find someone! Luckily I found Kat! We got to do a meet and greet first and I loved her positive energy and hearing about her experience. The rest is history because I’ve booked with her ever since and will keep on! She’s great with our dog, very respectful of our home, she even sends lots of pictures which is comforting to see that your dog is being well treated and loved! If your on the fence, I can definitely say Kat is wonderful and will treat your dog as her own. Here’s the sign you needed to book with her! :)

I’ve had him since 2020 when he was 3 months old. I have been dog sitting for 6 years now. I have experience working in a dog daycare for 3 years. My additional duties working in a dog daycare involved keeping the kennels clean of waste, dog fur, stray food and water, and other material that keep dogs from being comfortable away from their owners. Feel free to contact me about any questions you have or concerns and times that I am available to care. Thank you! About: I'm thorough, quick to learn, and have a calm presence that pets are very responsive to. My mom is a vet tech so I've had plenty of foster babies both young and old, healthy or not so much, this means I'm not afraid of any extenuating circumstances you may have with your pets. Oral medications, topicals and even injections are no problem. I'm happy to be there for your extra special pet. I am not working full-time right now so I am available all day for you and your pets. I do have a couple of regular walks during the week but not too much. I have pets of my own so I'm capable of bringing just about any supply or tool that might be needed. While I would prefer not to stay in a clients home full-time I would be willing to make arrangements for pets that need it as I have a disabled pet of my own and understand the need for more thorough attention to these animals. In my home, I'm capable of housing a free roaming dog that is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) or a dog that requires some light crating. I have a full sized dog crate in my home for my dog when he needs it and a couple more in storage as well as an outdoor kennel and two decently-sized fenced yards.

I am flexible and willing to go the extra mile for your pets! I am currently in between jobs because I have recently moved to the area. I am available most of the time as long as I have a notice in advance:) I live in an apartment so it is not ideal for me to take your pets into my home but I am willing to travel. I currently have two cats at home and they stay indoors.

Pineapple adored Sarah. He couldn't wait for his walk with her everyday. She always sent pics and played with him in our yard. She always updated me on when he went number 1 and 2 (helpful because he isn't regular) and even updated me on the cat. I'm reluctant to leave this review as selfishly I don't want her to get all booked up!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
