About: I have never lived with less than three animals. I have been around, taken care of, and loved pets my whole life. I also volunteer with an animal shelter to do ‘staycations’ for dogs who haven’t been adopted yet to take them out for the day! I am currently available Monday-Friday! I am happy to make accommodations as necessary. I am willing to be there anytime that is needed for you and your furry friends! I live in comfortable home with a back yard for running around and playing. I also have the resources to walk and crate your animal if necessary or requested.
“Taylor is simply amazing! Being new to the area and faced with an emergency situation, we turned to Rover and found Taylor. She has been such a blessing. She is patient, kind, responsible and truly has a heart for animals. We get pictures and a report daily. We appreciate you, Taylor!”

About: I've housesat for friends and family when they had to go out of town, or we swapped lives for a bit. From small dogs, big dogs, cats, and whatever's left of the arc: you name it, I've pet/looked over/loved every one. Currently I'm a full time caregiver for my mom, so my schedule is a bit erratic but I will do my best to accommodate! I'm great at reading animal body language, and even better at spoiling. I meet them where they're at, and give them the space to be themselves, while also stepped by my foot down gently if necessary. I had to put down my girl Oreo last year after 16 amazing years together, and have been missing her a lot lately. Unfortunately I'm not in a place to get another dog at this time, but I thought what a great idea it would be to hang out with other pets.
“I’m so glad I found Melissa! She walks my girl Betty each week on long days while I’m at work! She is so sweet and patient with Betty. Melissa helps give me peace of mind while I’m at work that Betty is getting positive attention and exercise. I appreciate her so much!”

About: I have lots of experience caring for animals and I am very detail oriented and hard working. I can administer medication or accommodate to any of your pets care needs. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your fur baby’s needs! I’m open to working with your schedule, I maintain a level of honestly, communication, and integrity when working in someone else’s home and being trusted with their animal that they care for deeply. I am clean and will follow instructions well .
About: Fun dog loving house hold ready to host your pup! My two children (4 and 6) enjoy playing with our guest pups and giving them all the attention. Additional to children, we also have one ol’ good boy of our own, Lucas. Lucas is an older large sized neutered male catahoula leopard dog, better known as the couch potato. I have been sitting on rover for around 5 years with my two children. We welcome our home to your loving pups and can’t wait to meet them. Just a mom, with a 6 year old a 4 year old. We will be more than happy to hang out with your pup for anytime you may need! Pets are allowed to make them selves comfortable whether that be a comfy place on the couch or a nap on the bed. They have free range and I am home most of the time.
About: I have had experience caring for pets since I was 7 years old. I have had a range of animals in my care: golden retrievers, chihuahuas, dachshunds, pit bulls, quarter horses, cattle, and a variety of cats. I am a very patient animal person and I really enjoy getting to know each animal for their own preferences and personalities! I regularly take my own dog, a 4 year old Staffordshire Terrier, on 3 walks a day at around 30-45 minutes each time. Her name is Nova and she is a very easygoing pup, and the apple of my eye!! We have a harmonious and loving home and I would treat anyone's pet with as much care and attention as I do with my own. I currently work part time, so I can dog walk almost any time as long as it doesn’t interfere with the rock-climbing classes that I teach during the week and on weekend mornings! I have lots of experience in doing drop-in visits in my child and teenage years, so I like to do long check-ins that range from 30 minutes to an hour for activity, meal time, and cuddling.
About: I grew up on a small farm with hands on training on how to properly care for horses, geese, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, lizards and even my current pet a marmoset monkey! Friends and family have always counted and trusted in me to be there when they can not. I take pride in my ability to get to know and understand any and all pets. I know they are not simply pets, but a large part of families households. I am a current part time employee with ample time to care and nurture for your pet. Available most days, nights and weekends. Flexible schedule. I currently do not provide services in my home since I am in an apartment complex. Instead, I will be able to come to your home and take care of your pets in their own environment and fit into the routine they're used to in the comfort of your own home.
About: I have experience with all different breeds and I’ll love your animals like you do! I don’t kennel dogs(unless that’s your preference) and I take great care to follow your instructions! I am self employed and am home most of the time so your pet will never be alone for long. I am available to take dogs out and on walks multiple times through out the day I have a house and am available to take your dog out whenever they need if you choose boarding. If I come to your home I will follow the schedule your family has to ensure as little stress as possible

“My pups really love Katie! She always sends me cute pics of them and they’re always happy and tired when I get home from work which is nice. She’s very professional and friendly and I highly recommend!”
About: I am great at keeping to consistent schedules, and I am very organized. You will not have to worry about your pet while they are in my care! I enjoy brisk walks that high-energy dogs will love, but I love casual strolls for the smaller pups. I am a big fan of caring for cats as well! Whether I am walking your dog or just dropping in on your cats, I will make sure your furry friend gets plenty of attention and love while you are away. I have a collapsable water bowl that I will take with me on every walk to make sure your pet stays hydrated, and I will bring extra leashes and waste bags. I will play with your pets during drop ins to make sure they get plenty of attention while you are gone.
About: I have taken care of dogs since 2020 when my family began fostering puppies and dogs. I helped with over 50 dogs. This included walking the dogs, cleaning the dogs and giving them medicine. I am currently a collegiate athlete so I am working out over the summer. I am available anytime after 12. My weekly schedule remains relatively the same. I am able to keep a dog entertained throughout the day if they need some play time. I can take dogs for longer walks if that is desired.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was very young. I was raised with a lab mutt and trained my family's cocker spaniel. When I go home for summer, I petsit for several of my neighbors. I'm confident I have all the skills I need to walk, feed, bathe, and entertain your dog! Though I'm a student, I don't have blocks of classes. During the week I have large periods of time when I am free, except on Wednesdays. My weekends are also often wide-open. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, but there are several walks and wide-open yards near my complex to walk dogs and let them use the bathroom. I also live pretty close to Fairview Park. I am currently unemployed and looking for work so my schedule is free to give your pets all the attention, love and care that they need! I have a cat in the home, but he is very friendly and perfectly ok with visitors. I do not have a fenced yard, but do live near a park and a fenced in dog park.
About: Reliable animal lover experienced with dogs, focused on comfort, routine, and treating every pet like family. Willing to go the extra mile for your baby! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I provide reliable, attentive care and treat every pet like my own. I currently live in an apartment so I am not able to board, but willing to do drop ins any time!
About: **as of January 2023 I will pause on booking all services as I relocate to the Tulsa area** I’m Jaimie and my mission is to reinvigorate your relationship with your pet to transform your home ecosystem. I specialize in coaching anxious, fearful, or aggressive pets by providing rigorous mental stimulation along with physical activity, nutrition and supplements. With 18 years of experience working primarily with dogs and horses, I’m confident in my ability to support your four-legged friends. I’m a master people educator, teacher coach, and recently have been crafting policy serving everyone from individual schools and larger districts to tribes and state/federal governments. After seeing changes regarding remote work, I now use my coaching skills to identify root causes in unwanted pet behaviors and habits, narrow gaps in strategy preventing results, and strengthen the relationship between you and your pet, resulting in a harmonious home space increasing your overall quality of life. Working with Jaimie you’ll get: —Basic and Advanced Manners (“obedience”) —Behavior Modification (chewing, barking, jumping) —Pet Exercise Routine Designed by Breed —Pet Mental Stimulation, Education, & Training —Minor Grooming Services (everything but haircuts and ducts) —Wellness Services & Medication Support —Tailored Coaching Cycles with Specific Outcomes —Goals Roadmapping and Timeline —Supported Strategies and Continued Education —Evaluation and Ongoing Audits As a World Coach Institute (WCI) Certified Coach, people developer, Jaimie is also certified in nonviolent communication and specializes in building trauma-informed spaces and communities. With a passion for navigating difficult conversations and conflict situations, Jaimie’s innovative approach and energetic leadership style create the kind of environment that suits your needs. Safety is my primary concern which is why my general exercise schedule is 10am-4pm during fall/winter with extended hours during spring/summer. This means that I do a majority of brisk short walks, long walks, extended hikes, runs, and outside play during this time. Note: for repeat clients I am happy to tailor a schedule to fit your needs outside of these hours. Having somewhat of a set schedule with a familiar environment yields the best results. That’s why I prefer coming to your pet and building trust in a setting that’s neutral and comfortable for them. This is what separates me from everyone else: ask your current dog walker about their licenses, permits, and what their insurance covers. If they are unable to discuss specific amounts or coverage that should tell you what you need to know about their level of care for your pet. With me, while walking down the street, riding in my car, even inside of your own home, your four-legged friends are wholly protected. It is my personal belief that knowing what to do in an accident or emergency is more crucial than just getting exercise. That is why I have contingency plans for just about every situation with all emergency information easily accessible and incredibly organized.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
