About: I have had had dogs my whole life, but I have solely cared for a dog for the past 5 years, who is no longer with me. I have watched and walked dogs for friends and neighbors for years. I am experienced to care for dogs of all sizes and ages! I am currently in medical school. I have some mandatory morning classes, but most of my schedule consists of at-home classes and self study at my own pace. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly neighborhood that is great for walks. I have room in my house for a crate, or for them to roam and sleep wherever they would like!
About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs my entire life, from tiny Chihuahuas to energetic Dalmatians. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes and will treat your pet with the same love and care I give my own. I am currently working 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday and home all day Friday - Sunday. My husband is currently working part time and is home during most of the hours I am not. I have a fenced yard with a very friendly midsized dog named Luna. There are two dog parks 10 minutes from my home where I take Luna a couple times a week. All dogs get fed and watered twice a day or as otherwise instructed.
“Norah is super sweet! She’s been so patient with our shy, nervous little Noodle. On top of it, Norah has been very reliable, quick to respond and flexible with last minute needs. I highly recommend her!”

About: Friends and family always ask me to look after their pets. I am patient, enthusiastic and great with both dogs and cats. I would love the chance to help walk or sit your fur baby today! I am focusing on school right now so my schedule is wide open. I prefer mornings so it isn’t so hot for the dogs. I walk at the pace of the dog and am very patient. I bring water with for the dogs with me on all my walks.
About: I've housesat for friends and family when they had to go out of town, or we swapped lives for a bit. From small dogs, big dogs, cats, and whatever's left of the arc: you name it, I've pet/looked over/loved every one. Currently I'm a full time caregiver for my mom, so my schedule is a bit erratic but I will do my best to accommodate! I'm great at reading animal body language, and even better at spoiling. I meet them where they're at, and give them the space to be themselves, while also stepped by my foot down gently if necessary. I had to put down my girl Oreo last year after 16 amazing years together, and have been missing her a lot lately. Unfortunately I'm not in a place to get another dog at this time, but I thought what a great idea it would be to hang out with other pets.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from Yorkies and Pit Bulls to Wolf mixes. Most of my experience comes from helping family and friends by caring for their dogs while they were away, and I’ve looked after both energetic puppies and senior dogs with different needs. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s keeping up with a playful puppy, giving extra patience and attention to an older dog, or simply providing plenty of walks, playtime, and affection, I treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind, knowing their furry family member is in caring, reliable hands. I am currently in between jobs and studying for more financial services licensing. This leaves me with lots of time to spoil, walk, cuddle and love on your furry family members when needed Growing up, I was surrounded by working breeds, including Huskies and German Shepherds, so I understand the importance of keeping active, intelligent dogs mentally and physically engaged. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they need. When caring for pets in my home or yours, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and any special preferences they have. I know that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and needs. My own dogs were treated like family. They enjoyed daily walks, plenty of enrichment, cozy spaces to relax, and lots of love and attention. I bring that same level of care to every pet I look after. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and being cared for as if they were my own.

“Emerson did a fantastic job with Tito's. He communicated very effectively. Will definitely be using him in the future. Really enjoyed how he would share pictures and information about the walk. Highly recommend”

About: I grew up in a house that always had a dog and a cat. I grew to love having their company and loved learning how to take care of them. Taking care of my pets growing up was a way I was taught responsibility, and that is something I take into my everyday life. I work as a cheerleading coach in the mornings, every other day, and then occasionally week nights. My schedule is pretty flexible, and is always open for tweaking. I am a very intentional person when it comes to relationships, and I believe that is translated in the way I take care of animals.
“Kate has truly been a lifesaver! Shes extremely dependable, and I know she really cares about Ralphie. She walks him a few times a week, and I can trust her to take great care of him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to a friend. Thank you so much Kate, Ralphie and I appreciate you so much!”

About: I'm thorough, quick to learn, and have a calm presence that pets are very responsive to. My mom is a vet tech so I've had plenty of foster babies both young and old, healthy or not so much, this means I'm not afraid of any extenuating circumstances you may have with your pets. Oral medications, topicals and even injections are no problem. I'm happy to be there for your extra special pet. I am not working full-time right now so I am available all day for you and your pets. I do have a couple of regular walks during the week but not too much. I have pets of my own so I'm capable of bringing just about any supply or tool that might be needed. While I would prefer not to stay in a clients home full-time I would be willing to make arrangements for pets that need it as I have a disabled pet of my own and understand the need for more thorough attention to these animals. In my home, I'm capable of housing a free roaming dog that is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) or a dog that requires some light crating. I have a full sized dog crate in my home for my dog when he needs it and a couple more in storage as well as an outdoor kennel and two decently-sized fenced yards.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oklahoma City
Emily took great care of my dog John while I was on a trip out of town, and was a pleasure to work with. She gave him lots of great walks, petted him, and was friendly and communicative throughout. She went out of her way to make sure John was comfortable in the heat and rain, and to clean his muddy paws. Everything you could hope for!

Cassie was amazing! She was punctual, sent so many pictures, and she made sure our babies were taken care of during the work day. I really appreciate how communicative she was before and after walks, and our super shy, Deaf chihuahua even warmed up to her! Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
