“Taylor made my first time using the app a huge success. Clearly my pup enjoyed himself! Loved the updates, easy exchanges and peace of mind. Will definitely reach out again if I find myself needing a sitter downtown. Thank you!”

“Highly recommend! We came in to Oklahoma City for a few days to experience the parks. Niko did a fantastic job watching our Yorkie while we explored the State Parks. When we come back, we will definitely utilize her service again! Our pup loved staying with her and her family!”

About: Hello there! I have many years experience pet/house sitting for family and friends and am known for loving your pets as I would my own. When your pet is with us we treat them like family so you can be assured they will get the care and attention every pet deserves. My partner and I have two children, aged 16 and 12, plus two pets of our own, Riley, a mixed doodle and Milo our "foster fail" cat we adopted from 405 Rescue. Thank you for reading and be well! I am a Program Manager for the DoD who currently works from home for the majority of the week as does my partner so your pup will get lots of attention and playtime throughout the day. Riley and I walk everyday so if you give your ok they will go with us! We like to go to a local vo-tech that has a nice path through shade and lots of good sniff spots. We have a large open home with a good sized, fenced backyard and your pet will have access to all the common areas such as living/kitchen and bonus room. We also only accept one client at a time to ensure they receive the care at attention they need. As a homeowner myself, I am responsible and respectful of your belongings and pets just as i would want for my own home. I will do my absolute best to follow your pets schedule and can assure you they will be well cared like my own beloved floofs.
“Taika loved hanging out with Luna and her pawrents today! We totally lucked out with finding Adam and Victoria on such short notice. Would love for Taika to come back!”

“Darren was great! He was understanding when we were late to our drop off, even checked on my fiancé’s ETA due to the ice that morning. He updated me throughout the day with pictures as well!”

“I was very thankful that Bowie took my last-minute booking that included three days of daycare with pick up and drop off! My life was so much easier as I worked the local craft show. I got videos every hour or two to know that ladybug was doing good.”

“Cherry took excellent of our Corgi and Cockapoo. The girls had a great time. We so appreciated Cherry accepting to booking with about 12 hours' notice. We will absolutely book with her again.”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals over my life. From dogs to cats to parakeets and snakes. I find animals both fascinating and companionable and do the best for any pet in my care. I'm currently working part time with flexible hours so I have all the availability your pet requires! The animals come before anything else in my life. I live in an apartment complex with a nice dog walking area. I'll always clean up after your dogs and take them outside leashed as much as they need. I love taking dogs on walks and am open to a full day of exercise for your dog!

“Anna took great care of Stella for an evening. She communicated well and was very responsive. She shared photos too which was very sweet. We are incredibly appreciative of her time and care of our sweet girl.”

“They are genuine, dog-loving people. Louna (my dog) loves it there. They send you pictures and videos which helps ease my mind when I travel. I would totally recommend them to anyone!”

About: I grew up on a small farm with hands on training on how to properly care for horses, geese, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, lizards and even my current pet a marmoset monkey! Friends and family have always counted and trusted in me to be there when they can not. I take pride in my ability to get to know and understand any and all pets. I know they are not simply pets, but a large part of families households. I am a current part time employee with ample time to care and nurture for your pet. Available most days, nights and weekends. Flexible schedule. I currently do not provide services in my home since I am in an apartment complex. Instead, I will be able to come to your home and take care of your pets in their own environment and fit into the routine they're used to in the comfort of your own home.
About: My name is Morgan Butala and I am all about the pets! I currently work from home doing compliance and auditing for a non-profit. The schedule is very VERY flexible and provides plenty of time for me to care for your pet. They will be my number one priority while under my care. I have experience caring for sick and special needs pets. I have owned many animals and currently have two dogs (Roger and Scout). They are besties and we typically go on a walk every day. I would love to have additional friends over to hang out with us! It’s a great win-win for you to come home to a tired out dog, there will be less of the fuss of traditional doggy daycare (worrying about fleas, illness, fighting etc.) Both of my dogs used to go to day care themselves but as I now work from home they stay with me. Roger and Scout are high energy! If you’re needing pet pick up, please reach out to discuss. I live right over by the Plaza and own my home. I currently work a flexible work from home schedule. I have some scheduled meeting. I'm available 24/7 essentially. I do have personal activities and work to tend to but I'm very lucky to be able to control my schedule. I live alone so I’m happy to have furry friends over during the day to spend time with me and my two dogs. I have a fully fenced yard with the majority being privacy but the back in chain link. The back door opens to the back yard for potty breaks. I also have a security system and cameras to watch over things when I’m away. If you have any concerns about safety, such as your dog may bolt, please let me know so we can make a game plan to reduce any concerns.
“This was our first time to use Rover, and we couldn’t be more satisfied, Deanna was great! Gibson took to her as soon as they met, which definitely made it easier to not worry. She sent us pictures ? and a great review on how he did during his visit. Deanna was great at responding to messages and very flexible. We highly recommend her and will be using her services again.”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of different animals pretty consistently throughout my whole life. I am confident and equipped for any situation; I can take care of schedules, feeding, bathing/grooming (brushing teeth & clipping nails as well), outside, walks, dog park, playing/entertainment, playmate, exercise/activity, medications, seizures, and more. So long as I am aware and there is a plan, I will always put the pets’ care first. Summer is around the corner and I’m just feeling out some odd jobs that could be fun. I have no other real commitments or obligations so I am able to make my own schedule. I personally like to spend time with my pets or any pets and give them attention. I stick to a feeding schedule, but some people prefer free feeding, and that’s fine. I always make sure their water is filled. I like to go to the dog park as often as possible or just take them outside—especially if they’re typically an inside dog. Other things as well such as sweeping or vacuuming up after really hairy dogs, or brushing their coats out.

About: I have experience with puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. I have cared for animals with specific dietary needs, medication schedules, and picky eaters. From medical healings to hyper active personalities, I have experience caring for them all. I am more than willing to assist and help care for your fur babies! I currently work from home Monday-Friday. There will be no issue with frequent potty breaks, quick walks, meds/specific feeding times, or early morning/late night daycare drop-off/pick-ups. I have a fenced yard with full camera security. I have two friendly dogs but can keep them to a designated space if you would prefer. If you have a kennel, please bring and it is always a welcome option to have a safe space for your fur baby to go if they feel at all overwhelmed in a new space.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Oklahoma City commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
