“Jordyn is amazing! My goldendoodle, Wayne, goes to see her twice a week & loves her so much! He gets plenty of cuddle time with her, but also plenty of playtime with her & her pup, Leo. She is so great about sending picture updates & informing me of how the day went. 10/10 recommend!”

“Colleen was amazing! Very flexible with our work schedule which was a life saver for us. She also washed our puppy pretty much everyday and sent pictures of her while we were at work. I highly recommend Colleen and will be using her again!”
“Lillys first day there and she got along so great. Shes a bit shy and careful around a lot of dogs but she was relaxed and happy there. Richard has a great sense of balance with the pack and it allowed her to have a great time around them So happy i found him”

“I left my yorkie with Bowie today. I received photos and videos very regularly which was amazing because my dog gets separation anxiety. It was very nice to see him relaxing in the space with other dogs. The drop off and pickup was both quick and easy. Bowie even allowed me to come by and meet his dog before I scheduled. He was very flexible with me and his place was easy to find which was a plus.”

“Junie B. LOVES daycare at Darren’s!! He sends lots of pictures of her throughout the day and she gets to spend lots of time playing outside! She is always pooped at the end of the day after daycare which is a great thing for mom! :) would definitely recommend Darren to any pup parent!!”

About: I have taken care of pets for 15+ years now. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and was often the one doing the training, feeding & loving. I’m very comfortable administering any needed medications, and have a very close eye when it comes to making sure any pet is feeling healthy and happy! My 2 dogs are treated like my own children. They are a huge part of my life—but I am their whole life! With that being said, I look forward to adding your fur baby to my little family! Got a goal you’re working on? Potty training, vocal cues, or more? Let me know. I’m happy to help them grow! I am a work from home professional in HR, so I’ve got time to spoil your babies! With that, I have plenty of extra time on my hands to play with your pet(s). I’m home full-time, so your pet(s) will receive full-time love and fun! I have two dogs of my own: one bichon-shihtzu mix, and one labradoodle. Being opposite sizes (9 pounds and 35 pounds), they are well trained and used to adapting their play-style to different dogs’ sizes and temperaments. I have a large fenced-in yard, with a very large grassy space for them to play! My fiancè lives with me and is just as much of a pet-lover as I am, but he is at work most of the time. Your pet is going to recieve lots of love and attention! I do have wooden floors, so I ask all nails be appropriately groomed, and a crate/carrier provided.
About: Hi there! I’m Brittney, 29 years old, and I work fully remote, allowing me the time and freedom to give your fur babies the attention and care they deserve. Spending quality time with animals is the dream job, and genuinely brings me so much joy and fulfillment! I currently have one 4 year old girl named Zuli (40lb mutt) and one 2 year old boy named Chico (10lb chihuahua). Both love to play and run around in the backyard with each other and new friends. If your dog is not interested in play, my dogs are fully crate trained and accommodations can be made to keep them separate and to stagger potty times. Naturally I am extremely detail oriented and attentive, but especially when it comes to other people’s pets as I know first-hand the anxiety in trusting someone new with your furry family member. I am always happy to communicate and send pictures as frequently as you’d like! Your satisfaction and your pet’s comfort/safety/contentment are my biggest priority. I work fully remote, so boarding and house sitting I can be available for all day, assuming there is adequate wifi I can use in your home to work. I can follow any and all procedures and routines you set. Happy to allow your pet to sleep in the same room and/or bed as me if you prefer, or crate them if that is what they’re used to!
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and now have two of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether it’s keeping up with their energy or making sure they’re comfortable and happy, I'll treat your dog like it's part of my own lil family! I work from home, which gives me a super flexible schedule to focus on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m able to give them plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a fenced-in yard that’s great for letting dogs run around and have fun! Plus, my two friendly dogs are always up for playtime and making new pals. Your dog will have plenty of company and feel right at home!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nichols Hills
I chose Micah because of the reviews she has and her photos. She did not disappoint. We chatted for a bit when I dropped them off and I could tell she is knowledgeable about dogs and their care needs. My pups and I are very happy with their stay. There is ample room to run and play and there is plenty of shade. They went on a walk. Micah was very good about keeping in touch she shared some pics and my boys were so tired from a fun and active day that they went to bed early and slept through the night. I highly recommend Micah

Lanie was absolutely amazing! We were able to book on very short notice and our return time estimate ended up being one hour later than we planned. Lanie was so patient and accommodating, which was greatly appreciated. She has the most calming presence and sent numerous pics and updates throughout the day. Will definitely have her watch Bailey again the next time we are in town.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
