Availability
I’m currently a night shift nurse and only work three days a week, which means I have four full days dedicated to loving and caring for your pet. On top of that, my husband Josh works from home and is around 24/7 so your pup will never be short on company, attention, or cuddles. There’s always someone here to keep them safe, happy, and loved

We have a best friend of our own Ozzy! He’s a playful, happy go lucky, 7-year-old who absolutely loves having buddies around to keep him company. That said, he also knows how to respect space and can be calm and quiet when your pup needs a little peace. Our home has a fully fenced yard, giving your fur baby plenty of space for safe playtime and potty breaks. Inside, we aim to make your dog feel as at-home as possible. If your pup is used to lounging on the couch or roaming freely, they’re welcome to do just that. And if they’re crate-trained, we’re happy to accommodate their routine too.

Information Chrissie G. would like to know about your pet
To help us give your pup the best possible care, please let us know their feeding schedule and how much they get per meal. It’s also super helpful to share any known triggers or unusual behaviors ahead of time this allows us to prepare and ensure their stay is as smooth and comfortable as possible. We’d also love to know your dog’s typical sleeping routine where they usually sleep, what helps them settle down, and if they need any special comforts at bedtime. Additionally, please let us know if they’re okay to be left out in the home when we need to step out briefly to run errands, or if they’re more comfortable being crated or separated during that time. If your dog has any specific house rules, like staying off furniture or avoiding table scraps, we’re more than happy to follow them just let us know! And if your pup isn’t fully potty trained, occasionally has accidents, or tends to mark in new environments, no worries at all just be open with us so we can plan accordingly. We even have doggie diapers available if that’s something your pup is allowed to wear. Lastly, if your furry friend is a bit of an escape artist or likes to bolt, please let us know in advance so we can take extra precautions during outdoor time, walks, and especially when greeting friends at the front door.
A typical day
We keep a “free-for-all” toy basket ready for curious pups who love to play and we’re always up for a good game of fetch or tug-of-war! Walks are part of our daily routine too. We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for strolls to help your guy or gal burn off energy and stay healthy. And if your pup is more of a napper than a runner? That’s just fine we’re all about cozy vibes and making sure every guest has a comfy spot where they feel secure and relaxed.

Pet care experience
Hi there! My husband Josh and I have always been the go-to dog sitters for our friends and family, and our passion for caring for others’ pups inspired us to extend that same care to more families. We truly love what we do and understand how important it is for your pup to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and that’s exactly what we provide. We officially joined Rover in 2023, but we’ve been loving and caring for dogs long before that. No matter your dog’s age, breed, or personality, we’re here to offer customized care that meets their unique needs just like we do for our own sweet pup, Ozzy. Ozzy is the pride and joy of our lives. He’s had his share of medical challenges, including multiple surgeries and lifelong IBS, so we’re no strangers to special care routines, medication schedules, or extra TLC. As a nurse, I (Chrissie) am trained and comfortable with administering medications, handling health concerns, and paying close attention to detail when it comes to your dog’s wellbeing. Whether your furry friend is high-energy, shy, senior, or a snuggle bug we’re here to make them feel at home. And as a bonus, you’ll get plenty of adorable photo updates to keep you smiling and reassured throughout their stay! We’d be honored to care for your beloved pet and treat them like part of our family. Can’t wait to meet your best friend! Warmly, Chrissie, Josh & Ozzy 🐾

Always take great care of my dogs and send the best pics!

Chrissy and Josh were a perfect choice to take care of our three dogs while we were out of town. Their home was so calm and inviting and their personalities made our dogs feel safe and relaxed. The pictures that they sent us showed our dogs happy, relaxed and well-taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough.

Lady had another great stay with Chrissie and Josh! We always appreciate all of the pictures and updates we receive from them. Lady is always smiling in the pics, so we know she is being well taken care of.

Always appreciate that my dogs were well taken care of while I’m away! My new rescue dog is super anxious around new people and places, but by the end of the stay he was so comfortable!
