About: I'm thorough, quick to learn, and have a calm presence that pets are very responsive to. My mom is a vet tech so I've had plenty of foster babies both young and old, healthy or not so much, this means I'm not afraid of any extenuating circumstances you may have with your pets. Oral medications, topicals and even injections are no problem. I'm happy to be there for your extra special pet. I am not working full-time right now so I am available all day for you and your pets. I do have a couple of regular walks during the week but not too much. I have pets of my own so I'm capable of bringing just about any supply or tool that might be needed. While I would prefer not to stay in a clients home full-time I would be willing to make arrangements for pets that need it as I have a disabled pet of my own and understand the need for more thorough attention to these animals. In my home, I'm capable of housing a free roaming dog that is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) or a dog that requires some light crating. I have a full sized dog crate in my home for my dog when he needs it and a couple more in storage as well as an outdoor kennel and two decently-sized fenced yards.

About: I’m not sure you can find someone who loves dogs (and animals in general) more than I do! I grew up spending time at my great-grandma’s farm, where I had the privilege of being around all kinds of animals. I would spend hours outside making the rounds to see the dogs, cats, pigs, cows, goats, sheep, and more. Those are some of the best memories of my life and are a big part of why I’ve always had such a love for animals. I’ve also worked in veterinary medicine for the past 7 years, gaining hands-on experience caring for animals and learning how to recognize their individual needs. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine while I finish my Psychology degree, but my love for working with animals definitely hasn’t gone anywhere! My veterinary experience has given me a strong understanding of responsible pet care, animal behavior, and the importance of paying attention to the little things when caring for someone’s pet. I’ve had dogs throughout my life and currently help care for my mom’s dogs, Charlie and CJ (Charlie’s Jr.), who are basically my dogs too! 😂 I’m very comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with caring for dogs and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while their people are away. I’m ready and eager to meet your fur babies and give them the same kind of love, attention, and patience I would want someone to give my own dogs. Whether they want to play fetch, go for a walk, get some extra cuddles, or just have someone around to keep them company, I’m happy to give them the attention they need. “Anna went above and beyond taking care of my pup. He is an extra large great Dane that had just been neutered on the day that she took him in because I needed somewhere for him to recover before coming home to his sisters. She REARRANGED her schedule for me and allowed me to meet her at her clinic because I had to pick him up early from his appointment and THEN had her doctor look over his incision and make sure he was OK before taking him home. Once home, she could see he hated that collar they put on him and instead found him a little pair of boxer Shorts to run around in for the weekend and sent me pictures. It was adorable. She took him out to see friends at Oktoberfest over the weekend, which I know that he loved because he loves people and kept him good and spoiled and loved on all weekend and continued to send me pictures as well. I would 100% use Anna again and I highly recommend her”
