“We highly recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for doggy day care or boarding. He understands dogs and their needs. We have a young puppy who is still getting used to experiences outside of our home. He took her time with her and allowed her to adjust at her pace making it a very positive experience. She now goes to him twice a week and loves it!”

“Cherry took excellent of our Corgi and Cockapoo. The girls had a great time. We so appreciated Cherry accepting to booking with about 12 hours' notice. We will absolutely book with her again.”

About: My work schedule allows me to WFH and take long walks with cute dogs. I have a friendly 1.5 year old golden doodle who is with me half of the time. I work from home so my schedule allows for walk or run breaks. I love to be outside, so no walk is too long or short. I have a fenced in yard and an almost 2 year old friendly and playful golden doodle who is with me half of the time.
“Dakota was great with our dogs. We were given very short notice by our complex of work being done so the dogs could not be there. We called boarding places but they were all booked due to the weekend. He was great on short notice and was super laid back and messaged with questions. We plan to use him for our vacations if hes free”

“Taylor was great. Drop off and pick up were easy. She sent me photos of my dog during the day. He came back happy to see me but he was obviously ok being with Taylor.”

About: With 16 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve loved getting to know pets of all breeds, ages, and personalities. From raising and caring for puppies to providing extra patience and attention to senior dogs, I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m comfortable with medication administration, keeping up with established routines, and giving dogs the exercise, playtime, and affection they need to feel right at home. Today, my boyfriend David and I are excited to welcome pets into our Oklahoma City home alongside our dog, Lady, and cat, Luna. Our pets are family, and we’ll treat yours the same way! Whether your pup wants to spend the day playing, going for walks, or simply curling up on the couch, our goal is to make their stay safe, comfortable, and full of love while keeping you updated along the way! My job is flexible, allowing me to have WFH. My schedule offers ample time for pet care. Available for dog boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and flexible for dog walks throughout the day on weekends and some weekdays, which provides a refreshing break for both me and your furry companions. In my home, pets enjoy a secure environment with the exclusive attention they deserve, as I don't have other pets. This setup ensures they have ample space to run around and play, promoting their safety and well-being.

About: I love to take care of dogs. I walk my dogs two times per day, and it does not matter how cold/hot outside. I have two rescued large dogs at home. I like to spend time and care about pets. I do not mind cleaning up after your pets. I’ve been taking care of my own dogs from small to large for many years. Growing up, I took care of many different kinds of pets. I have been a Rover client for a while and know how it is important to be reliable and responsible for someone’s pets and a house. They will be in good hands. Thank you ❤️ I work in a hospital from 7 am to 5:30 pm every day, except weekends and Fridays. But my mom stays home and can take care of your furry babies. I have a dog door. Thus, dogs can take potty breaks at any time. I have a high fence and a huge yard and two dogs to play with. I make sure doors are closed, and dogs cannot run away.
About: Ever since I was in kindergarten I wanted to take care of animals, I'm currently in college for vet tech. I have always been fascinated by helping out animals❤️ I have worked in vet offices as a kennel tech, and a Vet assistant. I have worked in the pet care field for 5 years, starting right as I got out of high School. I cared for my parents animals, my neighbors animals, and my rabbit, who will be turning 11 next month. I've trained animals from potty training up to obedience(dependant on the owner and how obedient they want their fur baby) I've worked with animals who have been abused, and have gotten them out of their shell. My dog, is 7 almost 8, so a senior, she was severely abused, had 5 owners before us, were her sixth, she was "aggressive" we got to work with her to open up to other dogs, And she's been amazing. I've worked with cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and even goats. I am a part time barista, full time pet parent, of a cat, rabbit and dog. My animals come first so they can be well taken care of❤️ I am also disabled so please keep this in mind 🩵 My husband Austin(who is in the process of being added) is a stay at home pet parent, he travels with me, helping me care for pets. He also travels with me to make sure I am okay during visits, because of my disability. He is very good with animals, and can promise you, your babies are in good hands with him and I 🖤 I live in an apartment that is pet friendly, across the street is a giant park where your fur babies and I can walk around and visit the dog park to exert their energy. I have a spare space for animals that keep to themselves, I offer scratch posts for cats, and a little hut for them to hide. I have plenty of treats, and toys for every fur baby that comes in. For your home, I know it can be scary for animals to see a new person, so usually they'll freak out, I'll typically get to a fur babies level and let them come to me, I never want them to feel threatened by my visitation. If they need time, that is all okay, they can take all the time needed. I will always have some treats with me to greet them(as long as the owner is okay with treats)

“Kim was amazing and made the process extremely easy. I will continue to rebook with her. Her updates and pictures were also greatly appreciated. Kim will make your pet feel like they are right at home!”

About: My name is Morgan and I am all about the pets! I currently work from home doing compliance and auditing for a non-profit. The schedule is very VERY flexible and provides plenty of time for me to care for your pet. They will be my number one priority while under my care. I have experience caring for sick and special needs pets. I have owned many animals and currently have two dogs (Roger and Scout). They are besties and we typically go on a walk every day. I would love to have additional friends over to hang out with us! It’s a great win-win for you to come home to a tired out dog, there will be less of the fuss of traditional doggy daycare (worrying about fleas, illness, fighting etc.) Both of my dogs used to go to day care themselves but as I now work from home they stay with me. Roger and Scout are high energy! If you’re needing pet pick up, please reach out to discuss. I live right over by the Plaza and own my home. I currently work a flexible work from home schedule. I have some scheduled meeting. I'm available 24/7 essentially. I do have personal activities and work to tend to but I'm very lucky to be able to control my schedule. I live alone so I’m happy to have furry friends over during the day to spend time with me and my two dogs. I have a fully fenced yard with the majority being privacy but the back in chain link. The back door opens to the back yard for potty breaks. I also have a security system and cameras to watch over things when I’m away. If you have any concerns about safety, such as your dog may bolt, please let me know so we can make a game plan to reduce any concerns.

As of August 2026, there are 424 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Lake Aluma. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lake Aluma commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
