She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. Chris consistently sends photos and videos, which is such a comfort when you’re away and missing your pup. Knowing she wants to go to his home gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommend him.”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, geckos, snakes, including FERRETS, and many more! I’ve been responsible for cats and dogs within my family since I was 13. I fed, changed litters, fetched, gave love and kisses. Snake, I was 12. I had a BOA snake. I always watched my mother feed the snake, loved to play with it, & gave it love. About: Ever since I was in kindergarten I wanted to take care of animals, I'm currently in college for vet tech. I have always been fascinated by helping out animals❤️ I have worked in vet offices as a kennel tech, and a Vet assistant. My dog, is 7 almost 8, so a senior, she was severely abused, had 5 owners before us, were her sixth, she was "aggressive" we got to work with her to open up to other dogs, And she's been amazing. I've worked with cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and even goats. I am a part time barista, full time pet parent, of a cat, rabbit and dog. My animals come first so they can be well taken care of❤️ I am also disabled so please keep this in mind 🩵 My husband Austin(who is in the process of being added) is a stay at home pet parent, he travels with me, helping me care for pets. He also travels with me to make sure I am okay during visits, because of my disability. He is very good with animals, and can promise you, your babies are in good hands with him and I 🖤 I live in an apartment that is pet friendly, across the street is a giant park where your fur babies and I can walk around and visit the dog park to exert their energy. I have a spare space for animals that keep to themselves, I offer scratch posts for cats, and a little hut for them to hide. I have plenty of treats, and toys for every fur baby that comes in. For your home, I know it can be scary for animals to see a new person, so usually they'll freak out, I'll typically get to a fur babies level and let them come to me, I never want them to feel threatened by my visitation. If they need time, that is all okay, they can take all the time needed. I will always have some treats with me to greet them(as long as the owner is okay with treats)

We currently have 5 pets: German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd mix, Husky mix, and 2 cats (see photo). We have experience with highly energetic dogs and taking them on much needed walks, dog parks, and even hiking! We live in a home with a spacious backyard so there is plenty of space for your dogs to play and run around. We also have personal experience in teaching basic commands. For house sitting, please note that only I will be present in your home while my boyfriend stays at home so that we have the opportunity to care for two clients at a time. We LOVE taking pictures and videos so we will keep you updated during the stay. Our pets are very sociable so if your pet gets along with our dogs, they will never get bored during their stay! About: I'm thorough, quick to learn, and have a calm presence that pets are very responsive to. My mom is a vet tech so I've had plenty of foster babies both young and old, healthy or not so much, this means I'm not afraid of any extenuating circumstances you may have with your pets. Oral medications, topicals and even injections are no problem. I'm happy to be there for your extra special pet. I am not working full-time right now so I am available all day for you and your pets. I do have a couple of regular walks during the week but not too much. I have pets of my own so I'm capable of bringing just about any supply or tool that might be needed. While I would prefer not to stay in a clients home full-time I would be willing to make arrangements for pets that need it as I have a disabled pet of my own and understand the need for more thorough attention to these animals. In my home, I'm capable of housing a free roaming dog that is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) or a dog that requires some light crating. I have a full sized dog crate in my home for my dog when he needs it and a couple more in storage as well as an outdoor kennel and two decently-sized fenced yards.
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, geckos, snakes, including FERRETS, and many more! I’ve been responsible for cats and dogs within my family since I was 13. I fed, changed litters, fetched, gave love and kisses. Snake, I was 12. I had a BOA snake. I always watched my mother feed the snake, loved to play with it, & gave it love. Many of my friends have lizards (even bearded ones), hamsters, rabbits, FARM animals (of course, followed by instructions), and many more!! And the ferret I rescued passed last year. I'm sure this wild part of who I am is with animals, exotic animals, and FARM animals, definitely apart from many people, perhaps. I enjoy pets, willing to take out for a walk, or to housesitting. I make friends with pets, even with aggressive ones. Easy to show no fear. Maybe I'll become a trainer one day. The home I’m staying at is not my home, but I can take care of your animals at yours, I love to play what they play. Dogs can fetch in the backyard or the dog park close by. Cats, I like to play with sticks to earn their trust. !!!!!!! ***I have no fear of any type of home animals*** !!!!!!!

She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. Chris consistently sends photos and videos, which is such a comfort when you’re away and missing your pup. Knowing she wants to go to his home gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommend him.”

About: Ever since I was little, I’ve had a huge love for animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve always felt that pets are truly part of the family. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends for years, and I’m so excited to now expand my experience through Rover. I’ll also be attending grooming school this fall, which is something I’ve always dreamed of doing. I’ve always known I wanted to work with animals, and I’m really excited to continue learning and building a career doing something I genuinely love. I’m reliable, flexible, patient, and have a very calm presence around animals.
