Chilli was offered food and watered. He played lots with the resident Lab. He was a happy dog when we collected him, tired and asleep within minutes. We would send him here again.

Deanna was great with my Henry, he really enjoyed going with her. He is becoming an ESA animal so he will no longer need to be in doggy daycare but if I ever need help again I will definitely reach out to Deanna again as he loved her and she was amazing with him.

Norma and her family are beyond 5 stars. We needed a sitter for our young puppy and it was our first time to leave her with someone. We felt like new parents leaving their child, but she put our minds at ease by sending pictures of our baby throughout the stay.

About: I have cared for animals since I was a kid taking care of family and friend’s pets. I enjoy the outdoors and have over 10 years experience with leash training. I took a first aid course at Rose State, which covered pet CPR and first aid and certified for any emergency situations. I’m a volunteer at a shelter/vet office for the last 12 years and love every minute of my time spent there. My two dogs Jack and Zero get along great with other animals and are very playful and love when other pets come and stay. At my home you can rest assure and have peace of mind that your loved pet is well taken care of. I currently work from home and have open hours. My daily routine consists of pet care already with potty breaks throughout the day and sometimes night, and walks in the park just around the corner. Walks are taken later in the evening and for high energy pets taken morning and evening. Feedings are done at clients request water is available at all times. All pets are watched at all times inside and outside. House and yard has been pet proofed and yard is fenced. Walks are taken always with a leash. Feedings are done separately so every pet is safe and happy. Pictures and updates are provided 3 times a day and can be more if requested.

About: I’ve got such a strong love for animals. When I was a kid I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up, but once I became an adult I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle all the little fur lives lost doing that kind of work. I’ve taken care of animals since as far back as I can remember. Animals are definitely what makes the world a better place. I’m self employed, so I create my own hours. Because of that, I’m available any time Monday-Sunday. I’m so excited to meet, care for, and love on your big or little furry family members! 😊 I have 2 small dogs of my own for yours to play with. I’ll shower them with love, cuddles, play time, and even some treats 🥰

We have a young puppy who is still getting used to experiences outside of our home. He took her time with her and allowed her to adjust at her pace making it a very positive experience. She now goes to him twice a week and loves it!

About: What’s up :) I am currently 24, and am a student at the University of Oklahoma studying biology. I was on campus full time but because of the pandemic I am now mostly online, which is why I picked up dog sitting! I actually managed to get lucky enough to start out my first job in a pet supply store, I gained so much experience from this job from grooming pets or whenever I had free time I would learn about all sorts of animal products and food we sold! Learning new things is my favorite thing and I strive for that constantly. All of my other jobs have actually been animal related as well! The rest of my experience spans from working in clinics with vets, to volunteering at my local animal shelter! I have learned animals are a huge reason for getting me out of bed because of how much they rely on me, and it ends up being mutual because I end up relying on them too! Dakota was great with our dogs. We were given very short notice by our complex of work being done so the dogs could not be there. We called boarding places but they were all booked due to the weekend. He was great on short notice and was super laid back and messaged with questions. We plan to use him for our vacations if hes free

About: I grew up with dobermans, mini pins, schnauzers, and chihuahuas. I have always adored animals and shared such a deep connection with them. Since age 18, I have owned and care for over 8 different animals including senior dobermans, senior border collie, raised a French bull dog, and lived and cared for a cat with special needs for 5 years. I am good with shy, timid animals, as well as elderly or sick, and with puppies. I have experience with timid dogs, neglected dogs, super energetic dogs, and am highly attuned to their needs whether that’s more space, more time, more attention, and have a good knowing of when there is something a dog may be in need of. My household is very calm, quiet, and peaceful. I have a large yard. I currently have one pet, she is a small pomeranian mix and likes to keep to herself mostly. I work from home mostly, I am home the majority of each day. I’m never gone for more than a few hours normally and if I’m watching pets I am gone less than that. I can accommodate for the most part if you’re pet requires anything just let me know their needs ahead of time. We have a large yard and fully secured 6ft stockade fence. The pet will have access to the kitchen and large living room area during the day. The crate (if required) will be set up in my kitchen. I permit them to be on the couch with me. Again, if there is any accommodation within reason to this arrangement let me know ahead of time!

Deanna has a true heart for dogs! She provides a safe and playful environment (both indoor and outdoor) for doggie daycare. She is attentive and gives a lot of affection to the pets in her care. Deanna texted me many pictures and updates throughout the day, which meant a lot to me as my pup is only 5 months old. I’m so happy I found Deanna on this app and I’m eager to bring my puppy back to her very soon.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Valley Brook commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 427 sitters in Valley Brook, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
