“Chris has watched my dog several times now, and she must love staying with him. She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. Chris consistently sends photos and videos, which is such a comfort when you’re away and missing your pup. Knowing she wants to go to his home gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommend him.”

About: I have cared for animals since I was a kid taking care of family and friend’s pets. I enjoy the outdoors and have over 10 years experience with leash training. I took a first aid course at Rose State, which covered pet CPR and first aid and certified for any emergency situations. I’m a volunteer at a shelter/vet office for the last 12 years and love every minute of my time spent there. My two dogs Jack and Zero get along great with other animals and are very playful and love when other pets come and stay. At my home you can rest assure and have peace of mind that your loved pet is well taken care of. I currently work from home and have open hours. My daily routine consists of pet care already with potty breaks throughout the day and sometimes night, and walks in the park just around the corner. Walks are taken later in the evening and for high energy pets taken morning and evening. Feedings are done at clients request water is available at all times. All pets are watched at all times inside and outside. House and yard has been pet proofed and yard is fenced. Walks are taken always with a leash. Feedings are done separately so every pet is safe and happy. Pictures and updates are provided 3 times a day and can be more if requested.

About: I’ve got such a strong love for animals. When I was a kid I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up, but once I became an adult I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle all the little fur lives lost doing that kind of work. I’ve taken care of animals since as far back as I can remember. Animals are definitely what makes the world a better place. I’m self employed, so I create my own hours. About: I grew up with dobermans, mini pins, schnauzers, and chihuahuas. I have always adored animals and shared such a deep connection with them. Since age 18, I have owned and care for over 8 different animals including senior dobermans, senior border collie, raised a French bull dog, and lived and cared for a cat with special needs for 5 years. I am good with shy, timid animals, as well as elderly or sick, and with puppies. I have experience with timid dogs, neglected dogs, super energetic dogs, and am highly attuned to their needs whether that’s more space, more time, more attention, and have a good knowing of when there is something a dog may be in need of. My household is very calm, quiet, and peaceful. I have a large yard. I currently have one pet, she is a small pomeranian mix and likes to keep to herself mostly. I work from home mostly, I am home the majority of each day. I’m never gone for more than a few hours normally and if I’m watching pets I am gone less than that. I can accommodate for the most part if you’re pet requires anything just let me know their needs ahead of time. We have a large yard and fully secured 6ft stockade fence. The pet will have access to the kitchen and large living room area during the day. The crate (if required) will be set up in my kitchen. I permit them to be on the couch with me. Again, if there is any accommodation within reason to this arrangement let me know ahead of time!

I also love taking dogs on car rides (with the windows down!) and going on walks at places like Myriad Gardens or Scissortail Park. On the rare occasion your dog may be alone, it would be for no more than 3 hours. I always make sure dogs are comfortable, monitored, and cared for as if they were my own. All dogs are carefully supervised during their stay, but they also have the freedom to run and play as they wish. Dogs are inside dogs and are let out to play for 20–30 minutes at a time. Potty breaks happen every 3–4 hours (or more often if needed). I will always care for your dog with patience, safety, and unconditional love. I work from home, so someone is home every day of the the week to help minimize separation anxiety and and keep your pup comfortable. All dogs stay inside with the occasional free play outside. Rest assured that your pup will have plenty if space to run and play while staying in a safe, secured environment.

Fair warning: your dog may come home spoiled 💛 I’m only away for a brief morning shift (8–12, weekdays), which means your dog spends the majority of the day in a home environment—not a kennel. Any crate time is minimal and capped at 4 to 5 hours. I’ve got a doggie door and a fully fenced half-acre yard, so the pups can go in and out and burn off energy whenever they want. When I leave for errands or during feeding, everyone is kenneled—just to keep things safe and drama-free.

My availability is pretty open right now - Monday - Sunday! I volunteer on Tuesday & Thursday from 12 - 4 but can shift dates and times if needed. About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds for the past few years. Ranging from large breed dogs like mastiffs, all the way to little Chihuahua pups for neighbors, friends, co-workers and family. I have also helped others train their dogs for casual commands (I.E. sit, stay, lay down, heel). If you think I'd make a great sitter for you fur babies, I would be more than honored to help make your life and theirs easier! Several walks a day ranging from 6am-10pm as well as breakfast, lunch, playtime, bathing, exercise 7 days a week and more if it is needed! I have a fenced in area with play structures for dogs and have plenty of areas for cats to climb and relax on. I will also clean up any outdoor/litter box messes if watching your babies in your home.

“Chris has watched my dog several times now, and she must love staying with him. She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. Chris consistently sends photos and videos, which is such a comfort when you’re away and missing your pup. Knowing she wants to go to his home gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommend him.”
