“Niko was absolutely wonderful with our little dog who needs several meds and is blind in one eye. She was great with sending thoughtful updates to put our minds at ease, and was very accommodating on drop off and pick up as we were traveling from out of town. Our dog obviously had a great time with Niko’s family. We would book with her again, no hesitation. She’s the best!”

“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“Kara was extremely welcoming and transparent through the whole process. My pup came home happy and worn out from all the playing. I received tons of updates and pictures that eased my mind. Will definitely use her again!”

About: A deep love and understanding of animals runs in my veins — my father is a veritable animal whisperer who passed on his love of fur babies to me. I grew up with multiple dogs in our house and personally believe pets thrive on attention, love, nurturing, and a stable schedule. The love, patience, kindness, gentleness, respect, and playfulness that comes so naturally when caring for a beloved pet is something I believe all animals deserve — and something I’m excited to shower on your fur babies! I appreciate a detailed list of eating/potty schedules, favorite toys/treats, appropriate cadence and frequency of walks, daily playtime, preferred vet, food specifics, medicine specifics, ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF TO MAKE THIS A FUN & RELAXING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR PET. I work from home and I make my own schedule so I have all the flexibility needed for an awesome experience for your fur baby! I have a fenced-in yard with lots of room to run and play, as well as a covered patio for them to cool off. We spend most of our time outside, but if it’s raining or they just want to come in, we’ll hang out in the living room where I love playing interactive games — if the pup is up for it!
“Destini was very sweet and understanding with our pups. She took the time to meet with us a couple times before our actual booking so the dogs could get acquainted with her. During their stay, she would send daily updates and pictures, and luckily she did not run into any problems with them. One of our dogs was still hesitant with her at first when dropping them off, but at pick up they seemed comfortable and well watched over. We would definitely book with her again.”

“Anne was super communicative and made me feel so comfortable to leave my babies with her. This was my first rover sitting experience and it was excellent! Anne sent pictures of the dogs and updated me every day they were staying at her house.”

About: I have cared for animals since I was a kid taking care of family and friend’s pets. I enjoy the outdoors and have over 10 years experience with leash training. I took a first aid course at Rose State, which covered pet CPR and first aid and certified for any emergency situations. I’m a volunteer at a shelter/vet office for the last 12 years and love every minute of my time spent there. My two dogs Jack and Zero get along great with other animals and are very playful and love when other pets come and stay. At my home you can rest assure and have peace of mind that your loved pet is well taken care of. I currently work from home and have open hours. My daily routine consists of pet care already with potty breaks throughout the day and sometimes night, and walks in the park just around the corner. Walks are taken later in the evening and for high energy pets taken morning and evening. Feedings are done at clients request water is available at all times. All pets are watched at all times inside and outside. House and yard has been pet proofed and yard is fenced. Walks are taken always with a leash. Feedings are done separately so every pet is safe and happy. Pictures and updates are provided 3 times a day and can be more if requested.
“We left our two dogs (Chihuahua & French Bulldog), with April, her family and her own dog this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. She communicated well throughout the weekend and sent some snaps, putting our minds at ease. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. (Which is always a plus knowing someone is giving breed-specific attention with a frenchie) It’s clear they were well-cared for and entertained the entire stay. It’s such a relief to know our boys were in such good hands and had so much fun. We will definitely be booking with April again!”

“Rudolph was absolutely the best pet sitter I could have asked for. From the very beginning he was so friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating with everything I needed for my dogs. I am extremely picky and cautious about who I trust with my fur babies, so leaving them with someone new made me nervous at first. But Rudolph made the entire experience so comfortable and stress free for me. He kept me updated the whole time with messages, pictures, and little check ins that truly showed how much he cared about my dogs and their wellbeing. Seeing how happy, relaxed, and cared for they were while I was away meant everything to me. It was obvious they were getting lots of love and attention, not just being watched. When I picked them up they were so happy, comfortable, and clearly well taken care of. That alone told me I made the right choice. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience and I’m so thankful I trusted him. Rudolph went above and beyond in every way and I will definitely be a recurring customer from now on. Thank you so much again for taking such amazing care of my babies!”

“Christen was great! She checked in on my cat Christopher several times while I was out of town. Each time, she made sure his litter, food, and water were in good order, took several pictures, and provided a nice write up. Chris is normally fairly shy, but he seemed to warm up to her pretty quickly. Christen was also great at communicating—she always gave me a heads when needed. I'd definitely recommend her!”

“Tara was great! She sent photos and video throughout the stay. I felt so comfortable having her watch my cat while away. I high recommend to use Tara if you want peace of mind for your pet.”

“Rachel was very good with Rico making sure he had fresh water, sunbathing time, and any meds that needed given. He was happy to see her so I know she's a good fit for him and us. It's refreshing knowing I can trust someone with my fur baby while I'm at work.”

“Danica was amazing. She checked in and played with Flynn everyday and took great care of him. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and even made sure the apartment was warm enough for him on cold days. Thank you so much and flynn says thank you so much for the pets, the cuddles and playing with the laser pointer :D.”

“DJ is awesome! The once a day drop in with our two cats went perfect. She was super attentive and sent photos of them everyday. We highly recommend DJ, you won’t be disappointed??”

“I have 4 dogs and she was amazing, kept in touch and sent photos throughout her visit. It was very short notice and she helped me out while i was in a bind. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: My name is Rudolph, but I go by Tim or Timothy! :) I’m not your basic pet sitter, I’m like a cool pet sitter. I take on fewer pet jobs at one time to give yours more attentive care. I stand out compared to other pet sitters due to my retention with my clients. I intentionally book fewer boarding requests, so your pet is not with a bunch of strangers. Due to high demand, bookings for overnight boardings on weekends is additional $5. I try to do something special and unique for each stay for both the owner & pet! Example. returning flight delayed? No worries. I have dog food & cat food on hand that I offer for emergencies like this at no extra cost to the owner. Pick up/drop off time changed? No worries! Just keep me updated, so the Rover app doesn’t charge you a late pick up/drop off fee. I provide crates, food and water bowls, toys, and pillows, additional leashes, etc. I have my own pet sitter insurance, I do daily walks, and your pet is able to free roam around the house to feel comfy. As a professional pet caretaker, the journey begins with a deep passion for animals and a desire to improve their lives. This role goes far beyond simply feeding or walking pets; it’s about creating a personalized environment that ensures both fur-babies thrive in terms of physical health, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being. Whether working independently as a pet sitter or as part of a larger pet care service, the career of an animal caretaker is a blend of hands-on care, intuition, and relationship-building. I also have experience with rabbits as I care for two bunnies, lion heads and lop rabbits. Upon request, I’d be happy to provide a list of my long term clients that are willing to be listed as a reference in order to provide a testimony of my pet care, and unique skill set compared to other pet care takers. LGBTQ+ friendly. Please note for any travel related bookings, there will be an $0.89 per mile. This includes for any changes during your pets stay that require travel, and any daycare, and pet sitting needs. I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to care for animals as a pet care taker on the side because I love animals. I have open availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight stays. As a pet caretaker, safety, trust, and environment are interwoven aspects that shape the quality of care provided to pets. Safety ensures that animals are physically protected and free from harm. Trust is the emotional bond that enables pets to feel secure and connected with their caretaker. The environment, both physical and psychological, fosters well-being, health, and happiness for the animals in your care. By carefully cultivating these elements, a pet caretaker can provide an exceptional level of care, enriching the lives of dogs, cats, rabbits and their owners.

“Ava always goes above and beyond. She gives our snuggly cat lots of love and pets. His box is cleaner than when we are home. She give him his medicine food and water and has him do his tricks. On top of that she helped take our trash out and back in, brings in mail and packages and waters the plants. Always so glad when she's available to look after Peter and our home.”

About: I am available to stay with your pet all day and overnight. I have watched dogs as well as cats for family and friends for a few years with positive reviews. Love taking them on walks, playing fetch etc. I am available to be there with your pet not only overnight, but for walks and short drops ins as well to meet your needs. I try to make things as routine as possible for them. Whatever they are used to doing when you are there, walking, going outside, playing, etc. I can provide.
“Donny is the absolute best and always goes above and beyond to provide the best care! He is so responsive and takes the best care of my dog and cat. We could not be more pleased!”

“Dakota is phenomenal, he cared for our babies like they were his own, especially our kitten who's 12 weeks. We couldn't be more thankful for him, we will definitely be booking with him again!”

“She was on time for the drop in visits and met my needs of needing someone for an hour since my new addition is a little hyper and needs play time before going back in her kennel. She also was able to accommodate me with my schedule changes due to personal reasons. She sent me plenty of pictures of both of my fur babies. Thank you again.!!!”

About: Ever since I was in kindergarten I wanted to take care of animals, I'm currently in college for vet tech. I have always been fascinated by helping out animals❤️ I have worked in vet offices as a kennel tech, and a Vet assistant. I have worked in the pet care field for 5 years, starting right as I got out of high School. I cared for my parents animals, my neighbors animals, and my rabbit, who will be turning 11 next month. I've trained animals from potty training up to obedience(dependant on the owner and how obedient they want their fur baby) I've worked with animals who have been abused, and have gotten them out of their shell. My dog, is 7 almost 8, so a senior, she was severely abused, had 5 owners before us, were her sixth, she was "aggressive" we got to work with her to open up to other dogs, And she's been amazing. I've worked with cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and even goats. I am a part time barista, full time pet parent, of a cat, rabbit and dog. My animals come first so they can be well taken care of❤️ I am also disabled so please keep this in mind 🩵 My husband Austin(who is in the process of being added) is a stay at home pet parent, he travels with me, helping me care for pets. He also travels with me to make sure I am okay during visits, because of my disability. He is very good with animals, and can promise you, your babies are in good hands with him and I 🖤 I live in an apartment that is pet friendly, across the street is a giant park where your fur babies and I can walk around and visit the dog park to exert their energy. I have a spare space for animals that keep to themselves, I offer scratch posts for cats, and a little hut for them to hide. I have plenty of treats, and toys for every fur baby that comes in. For your home, I know it can be scary for animals to see a new person, so usually they'll freak out, I'll typically get to a fur babies level and let them come to me, I never want them to feel threatened by my visitation. If they need time, that is all okay, they can take all the time needed. I will always have some treats with me to greet them(as long as the owner is okay with treats)
About: I have taken care of all kinds of different animals pretty consistently throughout my whole life. I am confident and equipped for any situation; I can take care of schedules, feeding, bathing/grooming (brushing teeth & clipping nails as well), outside, walks, dog park, playing/entertainment, playmate, exercise/activity, medications, seizures, and more. So long as I am aware and there is a plan, I will always put the pets’ care first. Summer is around the corner and I’m just feeling out some odd jobs that could be fun. I have no other real commitments or obligations so I am able to make my own schedule. I personally like to spend time with my pets or any pets and give them attention. I stick to a feeding schedule, but some people prefer free feeding, and that’s fine. I always make sure their water is filled. I like to go to the dog park as often as possible or just take them outside—especially if they’re typically an inside dog. Other things as well such as sweeping or vacuuming up after really hairy dogs, or brushing their coats out.

“Brianna was an awesome sitter for Stella, our maybe I should say Stella was an awesome sitter for Brianna!!! Brianna sent pics of her watching the front door and taking over the sofa!! Will use her again if the opportunity arises!!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I can remember. I’ve always had to be responsible for my own animals if I wanted them. I did so well that I’ve had friends and family ask me to care for their animals as they leave for a trip or vacations. I wanted to continue to help fit babies and saw this years ago. I have done Rover on and off for years now and have met many great babies and animals along the way. I have taken care of babies with all kinds of problems and have never had any trouble 😁 Please feel free to reach out! We would love to work with you and your fur babies ❤️ I do work full time. I have my phone on me at all times and try to be very responsive:) I try to be as most respectful in my house or another. I do allow animals on furniture and in my bed but I do work with those that do not allow that. My home is decent sized and plenty of space for all sizes of animals. For cats I do have a cat tree and litter box. For dogs we keep toys and ropes around for them to play with. My daughter also loves to be around the babies. And helps with anything we may need 😁

Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, woven seamlessly into my schedule to ensure consistent, attentive care for each pet I look after. My day typically starts early, with morning walks and feeding sessions to kick off the day on the right note. Throughout the day, I balance pet care with other responsibilities, ensuring that playtime, exercise, and any specific needs are met. Incorporating pet care into my routine means prioritizing the well-being of the animals in my care. I set aside dedicated time blocks for walks, play sessions, and any required grooming or medical attention. I also plan regular check-ins and updates for pet owners to keep them informed and reassured. On a weekly basis, I assess and adjust my routine to accommodate any new pets or changes in care needs. I provide plenty of exercise through walks, playtime, and even yard time if applicable. Safety is a top priority, so my home is pet-proofed, and I supervise all activities to prevent any accidents. I also maintain a consistent feeding and bathroom schedule, closely monitoring any dietary restrictions or special feeding instructions. For pets with medical needs, I’m experienced in administering medications and handling any specific care requirements. Throughout their stay, I offer plenty of love, attention, and affection, ensuring they feel at home and stress-free. **Caring for Pets in a Client's Home:** When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to maintain their regular routine to minimize disruption and stress. I follow the feeding, walking, and care schedule provided by the owner, ensuring that the pet’s daily rhythm remains consistent. I’m meticulous about keeping the home tidy and respecting the client’s space while ensuring the pet has everything they need. I bring my own supplies if needed but always make sure to use the pet's familiar items, such as their bed, toys, and feeding bowls, to help them feel secure. Regular communication with the owner is key, so I send updates and photos to keep them informed and reassured that their pet is happy and well-cared-for. Whether in my home or the client’s, my goal is to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment that makes each pet feel comfortable and cared for, just as they would be if their owner were home.
About: Hi there! My name is Brittney and I’d love to care for your furry family members. I’m 27 years old, I work from home, and work through Rover on the side. I love Rover because getting paid to spend quality time with animals is the dream! I currently have one 3 year old girl named Lazuli (Zuli for short) who is a super mutt. She is full of energy and does best with other dogs who love to play, but gets along with chill dogs too and accommodations can always be made to keep them separated if your pet prefers to be left alone. Your dog will always be in great care with me, as I’m a very cautious and responsible person that pays great attention to detail, organization, and will strictly follow whatever procedures you expect of me. Knowing the worry that can come along with trusting someone else with your furry babies, your pet’s comfort/safety/happiness and your satisfaction are my biggest priorities. I do have a 9-6 full-time job on the weekdays, but could still do morning, lunchtime, and evening visits away from the home - or watch your pets in my home anytime. Working from home and having a flexible schedule allows me the extra time and freedom to be present with your pets all day without needing to leave them home alone. Weekends are much more flexible for visits out of my home. I would follow whatever procedures and routines you set. Happy to let your pet sleep in the same room / bed as me if you prefer, or crate them if necessary.
About: I have used Rover in the past and had only amazing experiences! I did boarding, dog sitting and check-in visits! I love all animals and would love to help you with any care your fur babies need :) I am currently at home full time so I have plenty of time on my hands to help out with any needs you might have for your pets! I have a fenced in yard and a very gentle loving dog who would love to keep your babies company! While watching your pups I will tend to any special needs they may have and make sure they’re brushed and fed on time and give them all the snuggles in the world! I have a very open living room my baby loves to relax in and all pets are welcome on my 2 couches!

“They are really, really wonderful dog sitters and people. I feel very save leaving my Eleven in their hands whenever we’re out of town. They’re great at communicating and sending photos. Eleven loves being there.”

“Rocky is always loved and fully taken care of when he comes over! Also he’s always happy and excited to comes over to your house! Thank you for taking great care of Rocky when we’re gone on vacation!”

“Yukie was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable leaving Echo with her. She made sure to send updates daily and was extremely responsive. I highly recommend Yukie!”

“Kimberly was a wonderful sitter with frequent updates and pictures! She happily accepted to watching on super short notice and treated our boy like one of her own! Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Jennifer wasn’t sitting for me really. Instead, she provided an adventure camp for our sweet pup. My new puppy really needed to have some great experiences at the end of a car ride to be more confident. We received photos at the farmer’s market, dog park and lake. She got a vacation! Thanks Jen!”

“Anna is a rockstar, plain and simple. My wife and I had no problems whatsoever and had peace of mind knowing she was taking great care of our dog. We should all be so lucky to have someone like her looking after our pets.”

“Josephine is great. Always available when we are going out of town and is considerate with last minute changes. Mocha comes home happy and superrrr tired which is a good thing cause she’s pretty high energy after a weekend at Josephine’s! She is def comfy there always so eager to go inside when we arrive. Thanks again!”

“Audreauna is amazing!! We got daily pics and videos; she responded to any messages promptly and our fur babies had fun!! Walks, treats, water play and lots of love!! Audreauna was attentive to their individual likes and needs. It eased our minds so much to have such great care while we had to be away from our babies!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and couldn't be happier. Amy and Scott are amazing people. I know when we leave Melody she is safe, sound, and truly cared for.”
