About: I have cared for animals since I was a kid taking care of family and friend’s pets. I enjoy the outdoors and have over 10 years experience with leash training. I took a first aid course at Rose State, which covered pet CPR and first aid and certified for any emergency situations. I’m a volunteer at a shelter/vet office for the last 12 years and love every minute of my time spent there. My two dogs Jack and Zero get along great with other animals and are very playful and love when other pets come and stay. At my home you can rest assure and have peace of mind that your loved pet is well taken care of. I currently work from home and have open hours. My daily routine consists of pet care already with potty breaks throughout the day and sometimes night, and walks in the park just around the corner. Walks are taken later in the evening and for high energy pets taken morning and evening. Feedings are done at clients request water is available at all times. All pets are watched at all times inside and outside. House and yard has been pet proofed and yard is fenced. Walks are taken always with a leash. Feedings are done separately so every pet is safe and happy. Pictures and updates are provided 3 times a day and can be more if requested.

From the moment we arrived, she and her husband were outside waiting to greet us, welcoming both us and our dogs with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. They immediately put us at ease with their kindness, professionalism, and obvious love for animals. They took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our dogs' personalities, routines, and needs, which showed how much they cared about providing the best possible care. Leaving your beloved pets with people you've just met can be stressful, but they made us feel comfortable and confident right away. Their flexibility, excellent communication, and accommodating nature were greatly appreciated, especially given our last-minute situation. We also loved receiving photos of our pups while they were in their care. Those updates meant a lot and gave us extra peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy, comfortable, and being well cared for. When we picked them up, they provided a detailed report of how everything had gone, which further demonstrated their attentiveness and commitment to excellent care. It's clear that they treat the pets in their care like family. “We left our two dogs (Chihuahua & French Bulldog), with April, her family and her own dog this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. She communicated well throughout the weekend and sent some snaps, putting our minds at ease. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. (Which is always a plus knowing someone is giving breed-specific attention with a frenchie) It’s clear they were well-cared for and entertained the entire stay. It’s such a relief to know our boys were in such good hands and had so much fun. We will definitely be booking with April again!”

“Astonishing sitter! I had one arrangement cancel on me at 8 p.m. on a Sunday. I needed to drop my dog off the next morning at 7 a.m. Luckily, I contacted Bowie and he was super-accomodating. He sent me videos through the day. My dog was happy and I am happy. I will definitely use him again!!”
