“I started GoodPup with my dog when he was around 15 weeks old. The weekly video calls and open chat were a lifesaver for me as a new puppy parent. The trainers offered so much support and guidance for us. They gave us practical tips on how to manage puppyhood and raise our dog into a well-mannered and independent pup. They often offered encouragement and additional resources. GoodPup helped get us through the basic manners necessary for puppyhood and set my little guy up for a lifetime of good behavior and continued learning. We stuck with the program for three out of the four learning tracks. Ultimately, we decided it was time to cancel based on our training; the trainer we began with left GoodPup so we got reassigned. I think it was a combination of my dog progressing so much and the trainer just not being a good fit. I had to repeat a lot of my situation to her multiple times, she wasn’t available in the chat, and overall I didn’t feel that she was invested in my dog. I would use GoodPup again and I would recommend it to others, but I would be more aware of how to gauge when it’s time to leave the program.”
