“Jenny was amazing with our little guy. We were quite anxious as we’ve never left him that long but she handled it like a true pro! Absolutely recommend Jenny to anyone who needs to feel safe and secure about their little one. Thanks Jenny!!”

“Kat was absolutely wonderful with our pup for a stop in! I work long hours and when my husband is away we need help letting our puppy out during the day. He can be a lot and she handled his big energy so well. Kat played with him until he was worn out and ready to rest. She even cleaned up his little pee trail from being excited. Definitely will have her help us again!”

“We had the absolute pleasure of having Whitney look after our kitties, and she was simply amazing! From the moment she stepped in, it was clear she truly cared for our cats. Her kindness and respect for our home made us feel at ease during our time away. The updates and sweet pictures she sent melted our hearts! If you’re searching for someone who will treat your pets like family, look no further—Whitney is the best! We’re so grateful for her help!”

“My Kitty was well taken care of and I’m so appreciative! I always worry leaving my senior cat and her quirky traits, but Morgan checked on all of her needs and kept me updated. Thank you!”
“Anna was so great! Tide and Frankie loved getting so see her and she sent so many cute pictures! I felt so much better knowing she was there to let my girls out! Thank you Anna!”

“All of the glowing reviews are true - she is prompt, friendly, flexible, sent daily pictures, and went above and beyond what I would have asked for on several occasions. I'll definitely be using her again - you can't go wrong choosing Cassidy.”

“Skylar was so good for my sweet kitty while we were out of town. We received daily pictures and detailed descriptions of everything that happened during his visits. He was very understanding of my cats specific needs and went above and beyond in taking care of her. Will definitely be asking after him again!”

“Sarah watched our kitty, Skittles, for 6 days. We only had Skittles for a week before we had to go out of town and we were nervous about leaving her alone, but Sarah made everything so easy! She came by our house before we went out of town to meet us and Skittles. Sarah came to our house every day we were gone and feed Skittles, played with her, and made sure her litter box was clean. After each visit we got several adorable pictures and an update on Skittles. One of the reasons we hired Sarah was because she’s a vet tech and it was very reassuring during our trip to know that Skittles was in good hands! We’ll definitely book Sarah again next time we go out of town!”
About: I have volunteered at and then worked at a dog training/boarding facility for two years and I have owned dogs in my family for my whole life I am a student athlete so I am mostly able to walk at nighttime past 7pm on weekdays and most of the day on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to play with! I can crate if needed and plenty of space to play outside as well.
About: I am an experienced care giver for dogs. I have training in nutrition, dog body language and dog training. I embrace the whole pet philosophy of caring for the physical, mental, emotional and social aspects of a dogs life. I took some time away from pet care but I’m back, and excited to make new furry friends! Every dog is different and has different needs. I would love to get to know your baby and provide customized care for them. If that's a walk, playing catch in the yard, scavenger hunt, or a snuggle session I want to provide that. I have a 4 year old Boxer / Cattle dog mix. He’s a big boy at nearly 80lbs, hes my gentle giant. He gets along with most dogs even small breeds. I work M-F and have a dog of my own so I am only available on weekends. I may open up evenings if I have regular clients that need it occasionally. When I enter your home I will let your dog come to me and become comfortable with me. After our visit I will give a treat, that you have provided or approve of (if you allow treats) I am not currently caring for others pets in my home, but I am open to doing that for any regulars I might develop.
“I can’t say enough good things about Grace—she took amazing care of my two cats while I was away. Her communication was excellent, and she kept me updated throughout, which gave me such peace of mind. I came home to happy, relaxed kitties and everything just as I left it. She’s kind, reliable, and clearly loves animals. I’m so grateful to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”

Kinley was very attentive to my dog as well as the needs I had for my dog while being away. She is punctual and so sweet! We will book her every time we can. Kinley helped relieve any stress about leaving my dog. Super happy with how my first experience with Rover went, thanks to Kinley :)

Renata is the best cat sitter we have had! Upon meeting her, you immediately recognize that Ren is a very kind and sensitive person, and we believe these traits were perceived by our cats. One is incredibly shy and afraid of everything, but Renata was able to send photos of her interactions with Mollie on the first day which is quite an accomplishment. Ren was very thorough in our first meeting on learning as much as she could about their behaviors. We appreciated the daily updates and photos she posted. She also alerted us to a possible health issue when she noticed that one of the kitties was sneezing a little bit on her visit. We said that it happened from time to time and we weren’t concerned but it was very reassuring that she was observing them so closely. We highly recommend Renata and will certainly use her again.

I could not possibly say enough nice things about our walk with Emerson. I feel like he has an excellent grasp of body language and timing which really makes the process of walking a dog much safer and more fun. He was also very kind which is so important when trusting someone with my dog. Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
