About: Hi my name is Michele! I have 5 years experience with both house sitting/boarding and dog walking . I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages for friends, family and through a business. It truly brings me joy to take care of these special furry family members. I recently lost my great dane, walking and/or house sitting other’s pets truly fills that hole in my heart. I will treat you and your dog with the upmost respect and care. I am home Monday-Thursday. We have a house with a large fenced in yard. No roommates or children. It is a non-smoking home. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting and working with you! Thank you. I only work weekends so I am completely available for all pet needs Monday-Thursday. Feedings, medications, walks, bedtime routines… I have done it all with my own. Your pet will be in a safe environment. A quiet neighborhood, large fenced yard for space to play. I will not accept other pets while watching your own to eliminate any possible concerns.
“Lindsey was wonderful with my senior citizen girl! She sent great reports and photos after each visit, which let know that Buttons was happy and having a great time. She got lots of love and attention while I was away. I definitely recommend Lindsey and will try to use her again next time I need someone.”

“Taylor is amazing! We were able to leave town with complete peace of mind even with one of our kitties needing a pill every day. He is normally so shy but he warmed up to her and let her pet him. We will always book with Taylor from now on!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all personalities, from energetic puppies to shy dogs who need a slower approach. I’m home all day, have a fenced yard, and two sweet one-year-old dogs who love visitors. I follow each dog’s feeding, potty, and sleep routine so they feel right at home. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life since I have my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bull Terrier. I’m used to scheduling my day around walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. Because I work flexible hours, I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day and keep their routines on track. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding schedules, or just extra love and snuggles, I make caring for dogs a natural part of my routine. Safety is my top priority. I supervise the dogs at all times and keep groups small so everyone feels safe and comfortable. I separate dogs for meals and follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible. My home has a fenced yard, dog-friendly spaces, and plenty of room to rest. I do slow introductions and make sure each dog has a calm, positive experience.
“Sarah was a perfect fit for our girls. We’ve only had our two cats for 5 months so I was worried to leave them for a few days. Knowing she had her own cats made me confident she’d be patient and caring with our cats who are still adjusting to their new home. She sent pictures and gave detailed feedback after each visit. She also answered any additional questions I had. I was able to enjoy my vacation with peace of mind that our cats were taken care of.”

“Adriana was so amazing with our dog Winnie and our cat Paxton over the Christmas holiday! She was a great communicator and sent tons of pics. I knew my girls were in great hands with her and got plenty of love and treats while we were away. I’m very thankful Adriana was able to help me and I look forward to using her services again!!! Highly highly recommend!”
“Jenny checked on my puppy at my house while I was at work and did such a great job with her! She took lots of pics and I could tell my puppy was having a great time with her! Jenny is very communicative and trustworthy and I will definitely work with her again!”

“Brianna does a fantastic job watching our animals 5/5 stars! You can’t go wrong with booking her for your animal needs. Very caring, diligent and respectful. Thank you Brianna!”

“Shereen was great with my cats! My cats seem very comfortable with her. She also took good care of my home and my mail, which I truly appreciate. I also received pictures and comments for every visit. I couldn't be happier! I would love to book her services again”

“April is such an animal lover. My dogs are very shy and not socialized and they allowed her to pet them and even play a bit when she came over to meet them. She was very attentive to any little task I asked her to do such as keeping DogTV on and checking my fence line for holes from the neighbor’s dog. She took ample pictures of my girls and her playing with them. She is a great sitter. Will use her again.”

“Amy was excellent. We were hesitant to use rover for the first time but Amy's professionalism made it easy. She took care of our cat for a week, visiting once a day, refilling water, feeding, and cleaning the litter. I strongly recommend her.”

Sunny is the absolute best! She and John are both so loving and caring for my dog. They use to take care of both my dogs till I lost one this past year. I have used them for the past 6 summers when I go for my beach trip. They always stay longer at each visit and always let me know at each visit how my girl is doing. I love them and so does my Audrey.

- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
