About: Hi! I have taken care of dogs for the past 36 years. Mostly my own, but I have also taken care of family, friends and neighborhood dogs as well. I have experience with senior dogs, giving meds and the day to day care they need. I currently work a full-time job during the week. I work from home Monday and Tuesday and work In-Office Wednesday thru Friday with weekends off. My schedule is open in the evenings and completely open on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door as well. Our furbabies have crossed over the rainbow bridge recently so we don’t have friends for them to play with but they will receive lots of love, snuggles and belly rubs. They are welcome on our furniture and bed, but if your pups are crate trained we can do that as well for you. I can give meds if needed as well.

My dog did great at the meet and greet with Taylor, but he wasn’t a fan after I left town. Taylor took the time to go let him out at his own pace, even when a stop or two was just opening the door to see if he would go out. She’s very good at communicating and helped me understand my first time using Rover!

April is such an animal lover. My dogs are very shy and not socialized and they allowed her to pet them and even play a bit when she came over to meet them. She was very attentive to any little task I asked her to do such as keeping DogTV on and checking my fence line for holes from the neighbor’s dog. She took ample pictures of my girls and her playing with them. She is a great sitter. Will use her again.

She got lots of love and attention while I was away. I definitely recommend Lindsey and will try to use her again next time I need someone.

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all personalities, from energetic puppies to shy dogs who need a slower approach. I’m home all day, have a fenced yard, and two sweet one-year-old dogs who love visitors. I follow each dog’s feeding, potty, and sleep routine so they feel right at home. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life since I have my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bull Terrier. I’m used to scheduling my day around walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. Because I work flexible hours, I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day and keep their routines on track. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding schedules, or just extra love and snuggles, I make caring for dogs a natural part of my routine. Safety is my top priority. I supervise the dogs at all times and keep groups small so everyone feels safe and comfortable. I separate dogs for meals and follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible. My home has a fenced yard, dog-friendly spaces, and plenty of room to rest. I do slow introductions and make sure each dog has a calm, positive experience.

About: I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from 6-week-old puppies to senior dogs 18 years old. I am comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and temperaments, including shy, anxious, fearful, and reactive dogs. My goal is always to make each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they're in my care. I also have extensive experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions. My experience includes caring for dogs with: - Heart failure - Seizure disorders - Age-related incontinence - Stress-induced hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE) - Post-operative orthopedic surgery recovery I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a senior needing extra patience, or has medical requirements, I'll care for them as if they were my own Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a registered nurse in Oklahoma, I recently transitioned from full-time to occasional part-time work, which gives me a much more flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand how important it is to maintain their normal routine while you're away, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. I believe every pet deserves individualized care based on their personality, routine, and needs. I take the time to learn each pet's normal schedule, including feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, medications, and any special instructions from their owner. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. In my home, pets are treated like family and are provided with a safe, clean, and loving environment. In a client's home, I respect both the home and the pet's established routine, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.

Shaylin came to my rescue! I had a family emergency and had to go to Texas. I had to stay longer than anticipated so I contacted Shaylin to see if she could care for my cat, Mr. Cheese Bagel, while I was gone. She did a wonderful job taking care of him for me! I will entrust my cat buddy to Shaylin again in December. :)

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life! I own 2 dogs and 2 cats! They are my babies! I know how stressful it can be to find someone to care for your babies and you often worry if they’re in good care! Well with me they will be :). I will offer plenty of photos while they are in my care and give them all the love! I also have experience caring for puppies and dogs who have anxiety. If your dog takes time to warm up to other dogs totally okay! We have 3 bedrooms where we are able to separate animals if need be. Our cats do have their own room so no worries if your dog does not like cats, we can ensure they are separated! I work from home, giving me optimal time to spend time with your pets! I have reliable transportation in case emergencies arise or just a simple treat of getting out of the house! I will offer your pet plenty of exercise and cuddles! I will also provide frequent potty breaks and maybe a few treats if that’s okay with you :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Yukon on Rover is $16.65 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 601 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Yukon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Yukon. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
