I’ve been around animals my whole life—mostly dogs—and I’ve had cats of my own for the past five years. I’ve cared for pets at every stage, from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I always treat each one as if they were my own. During college, I often pet-sat for family and friends and loved every minute of it. I’m currently a teacher working toward my graduate degree and looking for a fun, fulfilling way to spend my time outside the classroom. I have a big heart for animals and take pride in providing attentive, loving care. I can’t wait to meet your pets!

While watching pets at my place or in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their normal routine — feeding, walks, playtime, even meds if needed — so everything stays easy and stress-free. I give them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I like to send photo updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.

Kara was amazing! The epitome of patience with my sometimes slow to warm up sweet boy! She took her time, was able to understand his space, his needs and his overall demeanor. Her reports were a grateful reassurance as this is the first time I have used Rover, and the first time Cliff has been on his own while I travel since my other dog (and his very bonded buddy) has passed. I appreciated her willingness to reach out on any additional needs, and she was incredibly respectful and kind. I will absolutely be using her on my upcoming trips. There’s no one I trust more than Kara to care for my dogs. As a dedicated pet owner herself I have no worries when my dogs (Bowie and Oats) are in her care. She keeps up with their energy and always makes sure they are well fed, entertained, and most of loved.
Super thankful for Kara. She watched my senior Papillon for a week and treated her like her own. She goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Zeitplan
As a teacher I'm typically unavailable from 7-3 but don't mind making early morning house calls. I also have lots of breaks that make me available full time.
