My name is Anna and I have been a vet assistant for 2 years. I have extensive experience with dogs, cats, small animals and livestock. I have worked with young animals, senior animals, special needs animals and fearful/reactive animals. I am confident in my abilities to accommodate animals of all personalities and training levels. My goal is to provide top notch, affordable pet care in the OKC and surrounding areas. I am also a marathon runner and triathlete, so if your furry friends need a little more exercise, I am more than happy to accommodate them! I take my own dogs on runs in the early hours and am happy to do the same with yours. I am able to work with special needs pets or those requiring medication. I can administer oral medications or injectables such as insulin. I understand that emergencies happen and last minute pet care can be hard to find, so I do offer same day bookings!

Anna is the first sitter we’ve had who arranged a time for our dogs and her dogs to meet before the stay. She is also the first sitter who allowed us inside her home to see where our dogs would be day to day. She is very on top of bookings and communicates proactively. During our dogs’ stay, she sent cute updates, and gave great details that displayed her attentiveness to them. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I do work 10-12 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am able to go home on lunch breaks to walk dogs. I am off Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and also able to transport pets to parks or the lake if they need a little extra space. I am in the process of putting turf in my backyard to keep your furry friends clean during the rainy seasons. I also offer baths during boarding stays so they are clean and fresh when you pick them up!
Pets
A typical day
I am able to let dogs out/check on pets 3x per day when working. On my off days, I am home with them most of the day. I love taking dogs to the lake for new sights and smells, playing ball in the yard, and providing mentally stimulating games likes sniff mats or light training throughout the day. I can also take dogs on runs in the early hours before work so they are sleepy until I am able to come check on them again!
