I work remotely Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This flexible schedule allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine, ensuring your pets receive consistent attention, companionship, and care without disruption. I begin the day with early morning check-ins, focusing on essential care, feeding, playtime, and a morning walk to ensure a positive start to their day. During my work breaks, I provide necessary potty breaks, fresh water, feedings, and afternoon exercise to keep your pets comfortable and engaged. My evenings are dedicated to extended walks, dinner, and interactive playtime, ensuring all pets are settled, comfortable, and secure for the night.

A typical day

Balancing remote work with pet sitting is all about finding a rhythm that ensures both work tasks and pet care are well-managed. I start my day by checking on your pets first thing—feeding, letting them out for a quick potty break, or going for a short walk. This helps me get a little exercise while ensuring they’re comfortable before I dive into my workday. Once your pets are settled, I get into my first work session. I usually have a few hours of focused work, with them lounging around, maybe taking a nap or quietly entertaining themselves. During breaks, I give them attention—whether it's a quick play session or a cuddle. Around lunchtime, I take a break to check on them again. This might be a longer walk, feeding, or just some one-on-one time to make sure they’re happy. If I need to run errands or do a quick pet drop-in, I’ll schedule that during this window. In the afternoon, I usually have a second stretch of work. Your pets are typically more relaxed by this point, so I might work in short bursts, checking in with them in between tasks. If they need more attention, I’ll schedule another break for some playtime or another walk. Once the workday ends, I make sure they are fed, and if it’s a dog, I’ll take them out for a longer evening walk. If I haven’t already spent time with them during the day, I’ll enjoy a relaxing play session or bonding time to wind down both my workday and their evening. Since I'm working from home, I can always shift my schedule if they need something extra. A quick mid-morning play or additional attention at the end of the day is easy to fit in without disrupting my workflow. This type of setup allows me to stay productive at work while ensuring they get the care and attention they need. The key is flexibility—pet care becomes part of my daily routine, rather than something that feels like an interruption.

Kody watched our 4 pets and house sat for us! She did great with the animals and they were well taken care of. She came over a few weeks before we left to meet the animals and get a feel for the house and then came over again the week we were leaving to go over instructions. While we were gone she sent daily pictures and updates on the pets. We already have her booked for our next trip out of town!
