“We left our two dogs (Chihuahua & French Bulldog), with April, her family and her own dog this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. She communicated well throughout the weekend and sent some snaps, putting our minds at ease. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. (Which is always a plus knowing someone is giving breed-specific attention with a frenchie) It’s clear they were well-cared for and entertained the entire stay. She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. If she didn’t enjoy being there, she’d be pulling the opposite direction. She always comes home happy, and completely worn out from a full day of fun. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time. About: We currently have a 15 year old Yorkie and 2 rescues which we love, and we have kept friends and family's dogs over the years. We have a fenced yard and garden in back. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life. My last baby traveled over the rainbow bridge and I’m looking for dogs to care for and give lots of snuggles. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run. My two grandsons are here after school most days, so if I’m watching your family fur baby in my home they need to be good with kids. Happy to take walks, play fetch, and be their companion while you’re away. I am also able to go to your home to let your animals out and give some love a few times a day if needed. I can bring my laptop and work from your home to pet sit if you have high speed internet. About: I've had dogs my entire life, large and small. Having no children, my dogs are my kids. Dogs are as smart as you teach them to be... I've taught all of my fur babies tricks and commands, friends and family are always impressed. I've just always had a knack with them. Dogs bring me so much joy and I have plenty of experience with puppies to elderly ones. I'm self employed and my workload varies daily. I'm looking to fill in some extra time on my hands by providing in house visits to let your dogs out, feed, and give some loves to them while you're busy at work or on vacation. In time, I may offer overnight boarding once I get to know your pets. For now, I just offer doggie daycare on days when I'm home all day, for only one family at a time with one or two dogs max. So you don't have to worry about your babies being around 10's of other dogs. I have two older mild mannered doggies about 45 and 60 ish pounds that are friendly with others. With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)

So far, that's never happened :) My baby girl loves dog and cat friends. She likes to cuddle inside and play outside. She loves kids and elderly people at my grandma's retirement center! She has several dog friends she sees on a regular basis that range from little Chihuahuas and Jack Russells to big Rottweilers! They all love eachother and play nicely without any incidents. My dog is very sweet natured towards other animals and people. I have a medium and a large crate incase they are doing too much playing and not enough eating/resting. If I notice one dog doesn't want to play but the other does and is constantly trying, but the other is getting annoyed I will separate them for a bit. Lol If your dog doesn't do well with crates just let me know. I can train them to be or we can just avoid them completely. Whichever suites you!

I’ll pay attention to their behavior and surroundings while we’re out walking, and I’ll make sure they’re settled and comfortable before I leave. She’s normally a very quiet dog that doesn’t let me get far away but when we pull up to Chris’s house she suddenly turns into a sled dog dragging me up the driveway like she can’t get inside fast enough. Last night when I picked her up, she skipped food, water, and even her usual treat routine because all she wanted was sleep. That tells me she felt safe, played hard, and had a great time.
