“Anthony was SO good to our dog!! I can always tell when someone took care of my dog well because when we get home he’s calm instead of anxious. Anthony made extra time to meet my dog and learn about his routine before his visits, updated us consistently with pictures and videos, checked in to make sure he followed our instructions, and even did an extra visit just to make sure our dog had enough potty breaks. He also went out of his way to help me learn how to use rover for the first time and showed integrity with how he charges. Would recommend and will definitely be calling him for help again!”

“Genella did a great job checking in on my dog and feeding her. I really appreciated the pictures and updates she sent me every time. She also was very gracious with an emergency schedule change!”

About: I currently have a 12 year old Lab/mix dog, he is super sweet and loves attention. He is very friendly and no problems so far with other dogs. I have worked with a dog groomer before and would help out when needed. I can bathe your pooch anytime. I have had pets with separation anxiety before as well. I had an austrailian shepard growing up and she had separation anxiety bad, It wasn't easy but we were able to get her to not tear up the house anymore. If you have a pet that deals with separation anxiety then I would love to watch your pet for you. I work full time in Jupiter, FL during the week so weekends would be the only time I have available. I look forward to working with your pet(s). What do you say? Are you ready to let your pet have a wonderful time while you go out for a night and have some time to yourself? If so, I am your gal. I look forward to this adventure! I would be available most weekends to do drop in visits and possibly staying at your home if need be. Just let me know what you need and I will see if I can work it out. I have a fenced yard and have a dog who would love having a friend over sometimes. He gets along with every dog he comes into contact with.
“Kristen was AMAZING! We hadn’t left our senior dog in a few years and she took better care of him than we could’ve ever expected. We loved getting the daily updates and pictures.”

“Laurel was super nice and available at the last minute! Communicated with us through the whole process and kept us updated with every visit! Usually I’m hesitant about giving a stranger access to our home, but with her I only got positive vibes! And she is awesome! I will recommend her to anyone seeking a sitter for their pets! Thank you so much Laurel, we really appreciate you!”

“Kirstin took great care of our dogs! And she sent pics of them at each check in. Gave us great peace of mind that they were loved and cared for in their own home. We would definitely choose her again!”

About: I am a passionate animal lover who cares about the well-being of all creatures! I love dogs and have cared for many breeds from Cane Corso to Pomeranians (with a special love for pitties!). I also love cats and their aloof personalities! I have plenty of time to play with your animals on the evenings and weekends! I do work full time but can check in or walk on my lunch hour as well. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I will carefully follow all care instructions, including providing fresh food and water, grooming, exercise, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’ll make sure your pet gets the care and routine they’re accustomed to, while also keeping their space clean and comfortable. I’ll pay close attention to their behavior and overall well-being and will promptly let you know if I notice anything unusual or concerning. I bring a calm, caring presence, and a few extra belly rubs never hurt either!
“Shelby was absolutely great. My cat's don't like too many people but they liked Shelby. She even sent pictures of her petting them as proof, lol. I am very pleased with the care that Shelby provided and will reach back out to her for all our cat-sitting needs in the future.”

“She was great with my 2 dogs and went above and beyond for me. I did have to modify my days on her due to event being so close to home I could do drop in myself. Great to work with and so glad I picked her by the end of the week.”

“Shari is exactly who you want to care for your pet. She is responsive, prompt, responsible, and is so loving to our pup. I usually dread leaving him but didn’t feel that way with Shari watching him because he was in such good hands. Can’t wait to book with her again.”

I care for pets like there are my own. I will love them, play with them, feed them and even bathe them if needed. I believe that these animals are my own when I take care of them.
“Thank you Kylie, you came over last minute and were a lifesaver helping me with Winnie while I’m on vacation! She was easy to work with and had great communication. The pictures and videos you sent eased my mind, and it’s easy to tell Winnie clearly loved you. I will absolutely be booking you again - so glad I’ve finally found a stable sitter for my baby for the future. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will highly recommend her professional service to others. Thanks again!”

About: I have taken care and rescued many dogs since I was 10 and I have 2 of my own. In my free time I also go and volunteer at animal shelters. I’ve bathed, walked, played, and brushed dogs of all ages as well. I am currently attending OU, and looking for between and after class pet care. I have more free time on my hands than I expected. So let me walk and watch your fur babies. I have a fenced yard back at home and I let my dogs out when needed. We go on walks every morning before it gets too hot for there feet and there bowls are never empty. If needed I can always crate them, as I have one with separation anxiety that I do the same with.

From tiny 5-pound Chihuahuas with big personalities to gentle 150-pound Akitas, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. I take pride in providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each dog. You can count on me to treat your dog like family keeping them safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m a firefighter, and my schedule is very open,I only work Sundays and Mondays, plus one Saturday night each month. About: I’ve had pets in my home since I was 3 years old. I’ve had the opportunity to home dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and fish. I have more recent experience with cats, however I love dogs too! https://www.rover.com/sit/fridam62416 I work a seasonal job, so at most 2-3 days a week! I am a full time online university student, which gives me plenty of time to engage with your loved ones. I live on a spacious, open 2 acre plot of land in Blanchard. I do not have a fence, however I will always monitor your fur baby if outside and can cage if needed. My neighborhood has plenty of other dogs that love to go on walks/doggy playtime with each other in the evenings!
About: I grew up with animals my whole life. I got my first cat and dog as an adult when I was 21 years old. Since then I've always had animals, including a few rabbits along the way. In our household, I'm the one who feeds and bathes our dogs because I've been a stay-at-home mom for years. I've been through the senior years of pets so I understand the extra care they can require and I'm comfortable giving them medicine. I've also been through the puppy phase multiple times, and I've even been through multiple dog pregnancies with my current two doggy fur babies. I'm not currently working because I've been a stay-at-home mom for many years so I have plenty of time to take care of other pets. If I take a job in the future, it'll be remote so I can still have flexibility in my schedule. I'm comfortable crating a pet if that's what you want (I've had a couple of dogs that were destructive as young pups so they had to be crated in their younger years). I would also enjoy spending time outside in a fenced yard with your dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
