I've worked and rescued dogs since I was a child. I understand a dogs need for routine, feeding schedules, and walking schedules. I've worked with multiple dogs who have different schedules or needs. I've worked with dogs who have been abused and have to avoid certain triggers (other dogs, construction work, certain genders). I've walked dogs who refuse to potty unless you walk and stop at certain favorite spots. No request is too big or too large.

In my clients home I aim to keep things as consistent as possible. The pet is already missing their mom or dad. Everything else should be as routine as possible.

We’ve utilized Shelby’s services on multiple occasions. The last time she dog sat for us, there was a pee spot left in front of the guest bedroom door. It had been raining and we figured it was an oversight that she missed on her way out, so I didn’t dig into it further or anything. This most recent 5 day 4 night sitting, we got home and the house reeked of urine. We had to put our baby in his crib and mop the entire house then steam the entire house. I don’t usually check our cameras but I did to see what happened while we were away. It appears that every night, all dogs were left out of their crates. We have it listed in our rover profile that only 1 of the 3 dogs is allowed to stay out at night because of accidents. Multiple accidents were had and not cleaned in a timely manner. Additionally, it appears as if a trash can was dragged outside because there is shredded trash all over our backyard. I know Shelby was present in the home with the dogs and that they were fed on schedule, which I’m grateful for. I wish our instructions for overnight care of the dogs had been followed and that if it was noticed that trash was dragged outside, that it would have been picked up. One of our dogs does have major accidents if she is left out overnight OR if she is not let out when she rings the bells on the back door. It just appears that our instructions and her cues were not followed. It’s not fun to arrive home from a trip just to instantly have to clean the entire house. I’m hoping we don’t run into this in the future.
Fantastic sitter! Was very attentive, responsible, and loving with my three sighthounds, and surprisingly conscientious with my house. Would definitely book again!

Shelby was wonderful with my small pup. She was flexible, a great communicator, and he loved her! Would highly recommend her as a sitter.
Shelby is…hands down…the BEST!!! I have never left my babies with anyone but family, until I found her…best decision ever!!! She made the whole experience worry free!!! I am so thankful to have found her!!! ❤️
Shelby was great (once again) with watching our bull terrier duo. She even managed to catch a well-known French Bulldog neighborhood escape artist and return it to its owners!
