About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets from rats to cats to spiders and one rehabbed squirrel. I am a huge animal lover and I’m the top choice when my friends ever need a pet sitter because I’m so in love with their pets and love to go above and beyond when taking care of them. That means you absolutely don’t need to worry about them getting enough attention and love because they will get LOADS I hav experience taking care of senior pets and special needs pets and I do my best to really establish a trusting relationship so they know when I’m around everything is going to be ok. And my hobby is reading and writing so you get a very very chill person in your space that you can count on to be respectful and drama free I can offer a variety of pet care, I can do overnights or several hours and I can also do just a quick drop in if that’s all you need. I don’t have a car so unfortunately unless a uber is covered I can’t take them to the vet or things like that but I’m happy to spend my day at a nearby park or just read a nice book with them in your lovely home. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I'm available for anyone in the SF area. For house-sitting, you can ignore the availability radius on my profile. I'm happy to drive outside of the city to house & dog sit for you! Just note that my dog, Hop, will need to come with me. He is a dog that respects other pups’ boundaries, can chill on his place mat or crate or play with your dog if they want to. I’m comfortable enforcing a crate and rotate routine as well in case your dog is reactive, etc. so they never interact with each other. I am also Red Cross Dog & Cat CPR certified (see certificate in "photos") I recently was laid off, and so my schedule is very flexible! I have a dog of my own, so I’m happy to combine walks if your dog wants/needs company or a dog to look to for guidance, or we can keep everyone separate if there’s any reactivity or things we’re working through. I live right on the beach in the Outer Richmond, so Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach are my backyard! I usually do a 1.5-2h walk or adventure with my dog daily, potty breaks every 3-4 hours, structured play time, and structured down time. In your home, I will follow all instructions you provide. I have experience in training - whether that be obedience or deeper behavioral (e.g. reactivity, fears, etc) I’m happy to help however I can.
