“Olivia went over and beyond with Daxter and he ended Lili y her alot. So far she has been the sweetest sitter that i have booked and if you are looking for a sitter you can rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with her.”

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was 10 years old. I am the regular sitter for my parents lovely beagle, but I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Bichon’s to Bernese mountains. I am happy to administer medicines to dogs. I have a flexible work from home policy, so can support you and your pet when you need me, from morning to evening and over night! I have access to a medium-sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe during those mid-night pee’s. I have ample space for a crate if needed. I live in De Pijp, right next to Sarphatipark and other open spaces.
“Franky and Shaima got along immediately. Franky can be a little nervous sometimes but Shaima has a very calming aura. Super kind and warm person to deal with. She sent me pictures and updates so that felt good. Solid and reliable. Great communicator. But most importantly: Happy Franky!”

Over: I had the amazing chance of growing up with family dogs, and from a young age really understand what it means to care for, love and most importantly respect an animal. After moving out, it became rarer for me to spend time with dogs, which I really missed in my life, so I started looking after friends and family's pets from time to time, and volunteer at a kinderboerderij on the weekends. I love spending time outside, and with animals. :) My main experiences and skills come from growing up and involving myself in the training and caring for our dogs, from puppyhood to old age. Looking after my landlady's dog was another enriching experience for me. Her dog is a rescue, who came with quite some baggage. She is a very anxious and fearful dog. The first time hosting her, she was a bit distant, but with enough patience, calm, and a lot of research and practice exercises, I managed to have her accept me. The shock and pride on my landlady's face when she saw that her dog even let me pet her was priceless! This experience confirmed how much I like to learn about dog behavior, and help anxious pups gain in confidence, no matter how long it takes. I aspire to get a dog training certification, maybe when I get closer to retirement age, so that I can turn this passion into a full time activity! Overall, I am a calm person. I enjoy going on walks, and am an avid runner. So if you have a very energetic dog who likes to jog, I can bring him along on my runs! I have a hybrid work arrangement, so I spend much more time at home during the week, usually my Wednesdays and Fridays are spent working from home. I live with my boyfriend, who also works from home sometimes on Thursdays, so there is someone at home the majority of the week. I live in an apartment in the center of town. I have a bike so can move about town. When hosting, I can go for walks every 2 to 4 hours, and at a lower frequency when working from the office.
Over: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, including a golden retriever, a british shorthair, and a papillon. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life, from feeding and walking to playing and giving them attention. I also have experience dog-sitting for friends, making sure their pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re away. Since moving to Amsterdam almost two years ago, I’ve really missed being around animals, which is why I’m excited to offer pet sitting and spend time doing something I truly enjoy. I’m currently a psychology student, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m fully available on Thursdays and weekends and on Mondays and Fridays after 13:00. On other days, my availability can vary, so feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate. In my free time, I love walking around the neighbourhood and stopping by cafés, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring your pup along for walks, fresh air and a change of scenery. I live in a spacious apartment, so there’s plenty of room for your pet to feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure every pet has a calm and safe environment, with lots of attention and care. I’m also happy to take dogs out for walks as often as needed, depending on their routine and energy level. Whether in my home or yours, I always aim to follow your pet’s usual schedule so they feel secure and well cared for.
Over: I have had pets since I was six. Started with a dog, later cats. I now regularly dog-sit for friends and neighbors, and for the past year I have been actively walking multiple dogs in the neighborhood (6+). Some also stay at our home for extended periods. I can promise a stress free expierence for pets and owners alike :) I walk several times a day, with or without dogs. There are three parks and two (green) walking routes nearby, so there is plenty to sniff! Playing with a ball or other toys is also possible, as well as running with the dog if it needs exercise. Over: I have been walking and training my dogs (3 very active Border Collies) for 10 years, I have also provided dog sitting and care for dogs. I am flexible, reliable, and easy to connect with. Feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to help! I am currently studying for my Master’s at the University of Amsterdam and working part time as a remedial teacher. Even with a busy schedule, I still have plenty of time during the day and evenings to walk your dogs. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m always happy to help on short notice as well I live in an apartment in De Pijp by myself. While it may not be the best space for larger dogs, smaller dogs are very welcome. Thanks to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for them and taking frequent walks. I also live close to a lovely park, which is perfect for daily outings.
“Our teckel Trix went out for the first time yesterday and it was an instant success. Afonso took the time for a calm and gentle introduction, which immediately made us feel easy. Reliable, enthusiastic, and very professional. We will definitely book again soon! Thank you !”

Over: I grew up with a dog, so I’ve always been comfortable around animals and understand how to handle and care for them. I used to dog sit for neighbors and friends, mostly taking their dogs out for walks and spending time with them. I’m responsible and attentive, and I always make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and happy. I’m a student, so I have a flexible schedule and a good amount of free time. I’m available for dog walking during weekdays and weekends. When I walk dogs, I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I pay attention to their behavior and surroundings, and I adapt the walk depending on their energy and needs. I also try to make sure they enjoy their time outside and feel relaxed.
Over: Hi! I’m a caring and responsible pet lover with experience looking after animals, both my own and others. I’ve grown up around pets, so I’m very comfortable with their needs, routines, and different personalities. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making sure your pet feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and always adapt to each pet’s unique character, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just love cuddles. Your pet will be in kind and reliable hands, and I’ll always treat them like my own 💛 I’m a university student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can adapt to your pet’s usual schedule to keep things consistent and stress-free. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure to follow the owner’s instructions carefully so pets can keep their normal routine, which helps them feel calm and secure.

Over: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up rescuing boxers, and we were an unofficial doggie hospice for the seniors that were surrendered. I’ve helped raise two puppies: a Great Dane/boxer mix (size of a Dane, energy of a boxer), and I am the dogfather of a beagle/basset mix (yes, stubborn from both sides). I’ve dealt with the craziest of crazy, and it only made me fall more in love. I’m a self employed tech consultant. I make my own schedule. I’m active and outdoorsy, and prefer canine company on my runs and walks. I care for them like they’re my own. I keep my space clean and all human food out of dog’s reach. I’m happy to have dogs on furniture or in bed, whatever makes them most comfortable.

“Paul werd direct dolenthousiast ontvangen door onze Labrador, de klik was er meteen! Paul is bijzonder vriendelijk, efficiënt, professioneel en komt afspraken na. Top!”

Over: Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets! Here's a quick rundown of my experience taking care of animals- Dogs: I've had pet dogs since I was 10 and I also have experience fostering puppies and anxious dogs. Cats: While I've never had my own cats, I've taken care of plenty of friend's cats and I love hanging out with them. Bunnies: I have 2 of my pet bunnies, and they're such special animals that I love taking care of. Overall, I understand that every pet is different and what matters is what your pet needs. I'm going to make sure to listen carefully to what you want and what your pet needs, to make sure your pet is happy and well taken care of. I'm currently a full-time online student, so my schedule is completely flexible and adjustable. I can take your dog on longer walks, drop in frequently, and have overnight stays. I'm able to accommodate my schedule to what your pet needs and adapt to last-minute changes. Every animal is different and needs different care. When I'm taking care of your pets in your home, my priority is following the directions you've carefully laid out and maintaining the safe environment that you've created in your home.
Over: Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile :) My name is Anastasia, and my first word was "a dog." I recently moved from Barcelona to Amsterdam, so my profile on the platform is new, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the Netherlands' four-legged residents! My goal is to provide the same level of care, love, and attention as if you were home and maintain the routine, so that your fur friend feels as comfortable as possible :) Back in 2016, I decided to turn my love for animals into something more constructive that may actually help dogs and their humans, and this is how I became a dog trainer. My approach is based on compassion, positive reinforcement, and understanding animal needs. We don't punish or tell a dog what NOT to do; we show what we want from a dog and how to achieve it (and even receive a tasty treat!). After working at a dog hotel, volunteering at shelters for many years, and then launching my dog-training project (alongside my husband, who is also a dog trainer), I have deep expertise in creating a safe and loving space for your favourite creatures in the world. Please feel free to share any specific needs or requests, and I will make sure to accommodate you and, most importantly, your furry friend in the best possible way :) Thank you for making it this far, Heartfelt regards, Anastasia I have a part-time job as a remote project manager, so I create my own schedule, which gives me a lot of freedom and wiggle room to dedicate to something I'm truly enjoying - taking care of animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that trust lightly. Whether I’m visiting your home, staying overnight, or taking your dog out for a walk, my goal is to make your absence feel as gentle and stress-free as possible for your pet. I work within your pet’s familiar environment and routine, which helps them feel secure and at ease. During visits and house-sitting, I take care of all daily needs—feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, walks, playtime, and companionship —while staying attentive to their mood, energy, and behaviour. Every animal is different, so I adapt my approach with patience and respect. Some pets seek affection and interaction, while others need space and quiet reassurance. I follow their lead and build trust at their pace, always prioritising their comfort. For dog walks, I provide safe, structured, and attentive outings tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level, ensuring both physical exercise and a positive experience. While you’re away, I stay in touch with regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and connected to your pet:) I also treat your home with the same care and respect as I do your pet, maintaining a clean, calm, and secure environment. You can count on me to care for your pet with genuine attention, kindness, and responsibility!

Over: I have been providing dedicated care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments for the past 4 years. Much of my experience comes from being the go-to sitter for friends and neighbors, who have trusted me with their pets for everything from quick check-ins to overnight stays. Whether your pet needs a high-energy long walk, patient senior care, or just plenty of attention and playtime while you're away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am punctual, reliable, and committed to making sure your furry friend feels safe and happy! I am available most days of the week. I love pets and would love to pet sit any type of pet!!! I run/walk almost every day so walking with your pet is no problem I provide a calm, attentive, and highly supervised environment for every pet I care for. My apartment has a big yard area that is perfect for the pets to play. I also understand that some animals need special care and extra patience, and I can make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-attended to while in my home.

“Maryna is super friendly and loving with our beagle Fredje! She kept me updated with pictures and updates, which was very nice and reassuring. She is super communicative and responsive - thank you Maryna! :)”

“Elvina is amazing. We are very careful who we trust our dogs, that’s why we didn’t had a dog walker before. We managed to find Elvina and she was trully great. Flexible, friendly and tentative. She listen to the directions and followed to the letter. For sure we will be keeping her close. She manage to walk our 2 dogs with safety and fun! Thank you so much Elvina! We will be close”

Over: During my time in Montreal as a dog sitter, I’ve watched and cared for over 15 dogs. Including overnight stays, special needs dogs, and barely trained puppies:) I had repeat pets and clientele and grew a true bond with many of the dogs. I understand the process of slowly getting a dog to trust you and feel safe enough, it’s truly magical and every dog is different in their own way! I’ve had my dog Rio for 6 years, I’ve fed, bathed, and cared for him until I had leave home to come study here. You could say there’s a rio shaped hole in my heart:( There’s so much love and care that needs to be put somewhere! I’m a media student and I’m free on the weekends and all week except Mondays, Tuesdays, and Friday mornings. The perks of being a student is the routine, fixed schedule that makes my availability super consistent and transparent! I spend most of my time either taking walks (when the weathers allows it) or staying at home to meet deadlines, the two perfect activities for taking care of a dog! I was a Rover sitter in Montreal before I moved to Amsterdam, where I had a loyal clientele and repeat clients. I gained an extreme loyalty to my schedule and environment I take care of dogs in. I have a clear understanding of how the application works and how to provide the services I promise effectively. Given my fixed schedule as an undergrad student my routine is consistent and predictable, this means you’ll know whether or not I’m available right away and I will dedicate The perfect amount of time for your doggy. They’ll be fed according to their schedule, get the exercise they need, and of course lots of belly rubs. I would take care of your dog like it’s my own! My apartment building doesn’t allow dogs, but that doesn’t stop me from taking care of them outside my home. I know what its like to have a precious dog and the care and attention they require even just on walks. As for your own home, I have extremely strict and clear boundaries for my own space so the same will apply when I’m a guest at anyone’s house. On walks, I begin tracking our route as soon as we begin so you can see how far your dog has walked and where! I love this feature as it assures you of your dogs safety and health.

Franky and Shaima got along immediately. Franky can be a little nervous sometimes but Shaima has a very calming aura. Super kind and warm person to deal with. She sent me pictures and updates so that felt good. Solid and reliable. Great communicator. But most importantly: Happy Franky!

I really enjoyed Maximilians service, very professional and reliable. He took Rico for an evening walk and provided diner at my house for Rico. What I really appreciated was the clear communication from Maximilian and that he easily followed all my wishes regarding Rico. Would def recommend him. Rico is also saying “thank you woof, I loved the walk, woef”

I couldn’t be happier with Irene! I booked her last minute and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating from the very beginning. She took amazing care of Jojo — they went for a lovely walk and even played at the park together. I also left her the keys to my house and felt completely at ease the entire time. You can really tell that she genuinely loves animals and knows how to care for them with patience and kindness. I’m so grateful for her help and the peace of mind she gave me. I would absolutely contact her again without hesitation. Thank you so much, Irene! 🫶🏻

Yue was absolutely amazing with Cloey during their walk together. She is such a positive, joyful, and sweet girl! Cloey was so happy to go with her to the park and immediately felt comfortable around her. That morning I wasn’t feeling well, and Yue was incredibly helpful by taking Cloey out so I could get some rest. When they came back, Cloey was extremely happy and completely tired out after all the fun she had! I would definitely book Yue again without hesitation. She is truly lovely, caring, and reliable.

Samantha has been amazing with my dog, Cloey. She was on time, incredibly sweet, and clearly cares a lot about the dogs she walks. After Cloey came back from a walk, she’s happily exhausted, which says it all! Thank you so much for taking such great care of my girl 🥹🥰 I highly recommend her!

Kevin was fantastic with our two dogs on their first walk together. They are older poodle mixes and can be a bit reactive on leash, so they need patience and extra attention, and Kevin handled them beautifully. They seemed to trust him right away, which says a lot. He was punctual, very friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about dogs. You can tell he genuinely cares about the animals he works with. We definitely plan to work with Kevin again.

Sisi was incredibly helpful during a week when our other help was abroad and we really needed extra support. From the very first walk, our pomeranian Loki immediately became friends with her, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was easy, everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Loki felt comfortable and happy in her care. We’re very grateful for her help and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind dog walker.
