Over: During my time in Montreal as a dog sitter, I’ve watched and cared for over 15 dogs. Including overnight stays, special needs dogs, and barely trained puppies:) I had repeat pets and clientele and grew a true bond with many of the dogs. I understand the process of slowly getting a dog to trust you and feel safe enough, it’s truly magical and every dog is different in their own way! I’ve had my dog Rio for 6 years, I’ve fed, bathed, and cared for him until I had leave home to come study here. You could say there’s a rio shaped hole in my heart:( There’s so much love and care that needs to be put somewhere! I’m a media student and I’m free on the weekends and all week except Mondays, Tuesdays, and Friday mornings. The perks of being a student is the routine, fixed schedule that makes my availability super consistent and transparent! I spend most of my time either taking walks (when the weathers allows it) or staying at home to meet deadlines, the two perfect activities for taking care of a dog! I was a Rover sitter in Montreal before I moved to Amsterdam, where I had a loyal clientele and repeat clients. I gained an extreme loyalty to my schedule and environment I take care of dogs in. I have a clear understanding of how the application works and how to provide the services I promise effectively. Given my fixed schedule as an undergrad student my routine is consistent and predictable, this means you’ll know whether or not I’m available right away and I will dedicate The perfect amount of time for your doggy. They’ll be fed according to their schedule, get the exercise they need, and of course lots of belly rubs. I would take care of your dog like it’s my own! My apartment building doesn’t allow dogs, but that doesn’t stop me from taking care of them outside my home. I know what its like to have a precious dog and the care and attention they require even just on walks. As for your own home, I have extremely strict and clear boundaries for my own space so the same will apply when I’m a guest at anyone’s house. On walks, I begin tracking our route as soon as we begin so you can see how far your dog has walked and where! I love this feature as it assures you of your dogs safety and health.

Over: I have extensive experience meeting new cats with a wide range of needs; special diets, medications, elder care, shyness, clinginess. I am very confident in my knowledge of cat care, and my ability to win them over! I am happy to visit them daily, or to take them in at my home if you'd prefer them to spend less alone time while you're away. I have also had multiple dog-walking, dog-sitting jobs that I have enjoyed tremendously. I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual quirks and gaining their trust. I recently lost my sweet 16-year-old orange tabby cat, and I miss her dearly. But from having her for so long and having to leave her for various trips with various sitters, I know very well the anxiety of choosing and trusting someone to take as good care of your pet as you do. I would love the chance to be the person you can trust and be comfortable to not worry about them while you're away! I am currently a student, so I am often available in the middle of the day during the week as well as evenings and weekends. I'm willing to do up to 2 check-ins a day depending on the distance from me, it just depends on the specific needs of each pet of course! I always prioritize the owner's directions and a pet’s usual routines. I think this is most important for a pet's comfort with a new person. I always maintain a calm energy and approach animals on their own terms, at their own speed... most important is their comfort!

Over: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up rescuing boxers, and we were an unofficial doggie hospice for the seniors that were surrendered. I’ve helped raise two puppies: a Great Dane/boxer mix (size of a Dane, energy of a boxer), and I am the dogfather of a beagle/basset mix (yes, stubborn from both sides). I’ve dealt with the craziest of crazy, and it only made me fall more in love. I’m a self employed tech consultant. I make my own schedule. I’m active and outdoorsy, and prefer canine company on my runs and walks. I care for them like they’re my own. I keep my space clean and all human food out of dog’s reach. I’m happy to have dogs on furniture or in bed, whatever makes them most comfortable.

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was 10 years old. I am the regular sitter for my parents lovely beagle, but I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Bichon’s to Bernese mountains. I am happy to administer medicines to dogs. I have a flexible work from home policy, so can support you and your pet when you need me, from morning to evening and over night! I have access to a medium-sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe during those mid-night pee’s. I have ample space for a crate if needed. I live in De Pijp, right next to Sarphatipark and other open spaces.

Over: For as long as I can remember, there’s always been a wagging tail or a soft purr nearby me. I’ve always had a deep love and empathy for animals, and caring for them has been a natural part of my life. Back home, I spent years looking after my three dogs - taking long walks through the woods, teaching them fun tricks and making them homemade treats. Now that I’ve moved to the Netherlands, I miss having my furry friends around, and I’d love to help care for yours - whether it’s walks, playtime, or just giving them some affection and company. On weekdays, I’m generally available between 11:00am and 2:00pm and again after 5:00pm (depending on the day). I currently live in student accommodation, so I’m unable to host pets at my place — but I’d love to offer dog walking and in-home care instead! Over: I’ve been taking care of animals basically all my life, as since I was a child I had cats, dogs, hamsters, fishes and birds. Besides that my family and friends always counted on me to take care of their animals, for instance my grandmother dog or my aunt cat. As I don’t have any animals here, this would also be a great opportunity for me to also share my love for animals I just recently graduated from my masters, so I have a lot of time to spend playing and taking care of your animals. I am also available in the weekends and to stay with them I live in a small studio apartment on the first floor where there is a shared garden with the other tenants. I myself don’t have any animals

Ik ben meerdere jaren wekelijks op puppy- en gehoorzaamheidstraining geweest met een buurhond, waardoor ik goed kan omgaan met jonge, energieke en lerende honden. Hierdoor ben ik gewend om consequent, rustig en positief met honden om te gaan. Ik ben 's middags en in de avond beschikbaar. In overleg kan ik bij gelegenheid ook 's ochtends. In principe kan ik alleen doordeweeks, maar af en toe kan ik ook tijdens weekends of in (school)vakanties. Alles in overleg. Ik pas bij de baasjes thuis op, zodat huisdieren in hun vertrouwde omgeving blijven. Ik speel met ze, ga lekker wandelen en geef eten op vaste tijden. Daarbij houd ik altijd rekening met hun gedrag, gewoontes, dieet en hoe ze omgaan met andere dieren.
