Over: For as long as I can remember, there’s always been a wagging tail or a soft purr nearby me. I’ve always had a deep love and empathy for animals, and caring for them has been a natural part of my life. Back home, I spent years looking after my three dogs - taking long walks through the woods, teaching them fun tricks and making them homemade treats. Now that I’ve moved to the Netherlands, I miss having my furry friends around, and I’d love to help care for yours - whether it’s walks, playtime, or just giving them some affection and company. I’m currently pursuing my degree and have around 16 hours of classes per week. However, I do have my timetable which makes me still available and able to plan pet sitting at any time, any place. On weekdays, I’m generally available between 11:00am and 2:00pm and again after 5:00pm (depending on the day). I’m also usually available on weekends, so there’s plenty of room to arrange something that fits your pet’s routine! I currently live in student accommodation, so I’m unable to host pets at my place — but I’d love to offer dog walking and in-home care instead! I know that every dog has their own personality and that building trust can take time. I’m patient, gentle, and use a few simple techniques to help break the ice and make your dog feel comfortable around me. I’d also love to bring along a small toy or some homemade treats to make our time together extra fun! Over: My family had a beagle when I was in elementary school, and I grew up with the beagle until the end of his life. But I still love cats and dogs. So when I could afford to raise my own pets, I got a border collie and a Ragdoll cat. I would make fresh food for them. I walked the dogs once a day in the morning and once in the evening, and I played with them at home. I gave them regular deworming, vaccinations, and checkups. Learned a lot about the scientific way of raising pets. I'm currently finishing up my masters and looking for a job. And have a part time job online. So on weekdays I have plenty of time to take care of pets. On weekends I will go out to exercise, but can be flexible with my schedule to adjust to pet time. I have a small garden surrounded by a fence where the dogs can play and sunbathe without fear of running out. In addition, there is the option of caging or moving around the whole room as the pet director wishes.

Ik neem altijd de tijd om het dier rustig te laten wennen aan de omgeving en houd rekening met hun gewoontes en routines. Bij het baasje thuis volg ik de instructies nauwkeurig op, zoals voeding, wandelmomenten, medicatie en speciale wensen. Ik zorg ervoor dat het huis netjes en veilig blijft en stuur indien gewenst updates en foto’s, zodat het baasje met een gerust gevoel weg kan. Mijn prioriteit is dat elk dier zich vertrouwd, ontspannen en goed verzorgd voelt

Over: Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik ben flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid omdat ik nog student ben en ben zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik woon erg dichtbij een park en heb een eigen hondje van 7 maanden die heel lief is. Ik woon op de begane grond dus ik kan ook zorgen voor honden die moeite hebben met trappen of om een andere reden moeilijk te been zijn.

Since I moved Netherlands, I took care of two dogs, golden retriever and German Wolf for a year. I am also getting well with cats because before my American Bullies, I had a British Cat who died while giving birth. Since I study here, I have a flexible schedule and I always stay at my place which is totally pet friendly. I can easily comply with your schedules. Over: I’ve always had big dogs in my life, I have two amazing adopted mixes (German Shepherd and Labrador) back home in France. I’ve cared for them for weeks at a time, helped train them from puppies, and taught them plenty of tricks , now both lovely, smart, loving, and full of energy. I’ve also fostered dogs for several weeks, including some with injuries or on medication, so I’m comfortable giving special care when needed. I’ve even done a bit of cat-sitting along the way, last time was this summer over several weeks. As well worked as an intern in a veterinarian clinic for almost 2 months, taught me a lot of first aid and symptoms from animals. I love taking dogs on long walks, and keeping them entertained at home. I would love discovering new corners of Amsterdam’s parks together. Finally, I’m trilingual (and learning Dutch too) and truly see animals as family, always been a very important part of my life ! I’m a university student with a pretty flexible schedule and limited class hours during the week, which means I spend a lot of time at home studying. That lets me be very reliable for pet care .I can give plenty of attention, walks, and company throughout the day. I live close to a huge park and absolutely love going on long walks, usually one to two hours at a time, discovering new areas of Amsterdam. Because I study from home, I’m rarely away for more than a few hours, so pets are never left alone for long. My place is also quite central, giving me easy access to most parts of the city, and I’m available for walks or check-ins almost any day of the week. Taking care of animals fits naturally into my routine and always brings a bit of calm and joy to my day. When I care for pets, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I love spending time playing with them, feeding them properly, and keeping them active with walks and training. In my apartment, there’s no way for animals to escape, and I make sure they get regular walks every 3–4 hours with plenty of potty breaks. Its also possible to bring a crate in, if the owners wants that. When I’m walking a dog or visiting someone’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, every pet has their own routine and personality. I keep a close eye on them at all times and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I see them as family and take my responsibility for their well-being seriously.

Over: I've taken care of both my family pets (3 dogs and two cats) as well as friend's pets whenever they went on trips. I have experience with big and small dogs, and I've lived one on one with a cat while also fostering kittens in risk. I’ve also petsitted for 5 years in Amsterdam. I'm currently working full time but with a flexible calendar, were as long as I plan my day, I can fix it on my own. I also get to do a lot of home office.
