Over: We’ve always had dogs and cats back in Brazil. Since we moved we don’t have because we travel sometimes and we wouldn’t have anyone to take care of them. But we love and miss having pets ❤️ We work full time but we can work from home whenever we need. So staying home when there is a pet here wouldn’t be an issue. My grandparents also had dogs so I have some experience with that. My longest pet was a little cat named Kitty I had from a kitten and handled everything for, from changing the litter box to taking her to the vet and giving her medication. Unfortunately she passed away last year at the age of 17. I'm a student, so it's quite easy for me to head over after university to take your pet out on a walk or feed them. Over: Hi, Ik ben opgegroeid met katten en heb ze eigenlijk altijd om me heen gehad. Drie jaar geleden is mijn laatste kat overleden, en omdat mijn vader nu geen nieuw huisdier wil, mis ik die gezelligheid in huis enorm. Zodra ik uit huis ga, is een kat aanschaffen dan ook een van de eerste dingen die ik ga doen. Tot die tijd vind ik het leuk om op de katten van anderen te passen. Als ik buiten loop, kan ik het ook nooit laten om even te stoppen bij elke kat die geaaid wil worden. Ik richt mij op huisbezoeken bij u thuis, maar in overleg is logeren bij mij ook mogelijk. We hebben een tuin, maar de deur kan uiteraard gewoon dichtblijven zodat uw kat veilig binnenblijft. Voor mij is elke kat leuk op zijn eigen manier, of ze nu heel aanhankelijk zijn of juist liever van een afstandje naar je kijken. Wat betreft de zorg ben ik erg verantwoordelijk. Het toedienen van medicatie heb ik in het verleden gedaan, dus mocht dat nodig zijn, dan kan ik dat in overleg weer oppakken. Daarnaast heb ik al de nodige ervaring met oppassen opgebouwd. Ik heb dit een aantal keer via via gedaan en ook wel eens via een andere huisdieren oppas site. Ik heb zelfs wel eens een maand in iemands huis gepast om volledig voor de kat te zorgen. I had 2 wonderful family members - a big poodle and a Coker spaniel, who lived happy long lives. As a dog sitter I provide care and safety for your pets, long walks and fun games, as well as maintaining discipline. I usually babysit the dogs of my friends and people I know and I’d like to do it for more owners and their fluffy kids:) I’d like your pet to be dropped off prior to 8am and to be picked up after 6pm on the weekdays. On a weekend the drop off and pick up are flexible. I take notes on the owners preferences and keep the dog’s usual routine to keep them away from stress. Depending on the dog’s personality, I can engage them in games and long walks or provide some space for them to be comfortable. I genially love dogs and do my best for them to enjoy the stay.

If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

Because of our studio setup, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized companion dogs. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to accept large guardian types, mastiffs, or large bull breeds like Pit Bulls, Staffies, and Rottweilers. There is plenty of green space nearby for walks (Ring Dijk, Weesperzijde) 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. If allowed, we love going on longer walks, including trips to the Amsterdam Forest or past nearby cafés. Of course, we always follow your rules and only take pets to places where they are comfortable. Over: Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf niet adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders z’n hondje te passen! Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler en een Maltezer. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor hondjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je hond, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je hond in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Ik woon op 40 m² met een tuin. Voor hele grote honden is mijn woning daardoor waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾 Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis en ben daardoor veel aanwezig. Huisdieren zijn dus zelden lang alleen. Mijn planning is flexibel en ik ben over het algemeen veel thuis, waardoor er genoeg tijd is voor wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten en verzorging. Overdag stuur ik ook graag af en toe een update of foto, zodat je weet hoe het met je dier gaat. Ik woon op de begane grond aan een rustige, autovrije straat en heb tevens een volledig omheind tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen. Ik heb zelf geen honden of katten, waardoor jouw dier alle aandacht krijgt. Daarnaast is er veel groen in de buurt en zijn er verschillende parken op loopafstand.
Over: 15 jaar lang was een trouwe viervoeter mijn beste vriend. Nu zij er niet meer is mis ik het ontzettend om lekker te knuffelen, te wandelen en te spelen. Ik vind honden echt fantastische dieren en vind het heerlijk om ze te vertroetelen. Wandelen is iets wat ik graag doe dus hoe leuk zou het zijn als ik dan gezelschap heb :) Ik heb een flexibele part-time baan voor drie dagen in de week en af en toe doe ik wat freelance foto klusjes. Daar omheen heb ik lekker veel vrije tijd om voor je trouwe viervoeter te zorgen! Ik heb een eigen studio met een klein balkonnetje en er is genoeg natuur in de omgeving waar we lekker rond kunnen rennen. Ik heb zelf geen huisdieren, des te meer knuffels voor je lieve diertje!

The dog’s wellbeing, attention, and routine would always remain my main priority while I am looking after them. Weekends can be a bit more difficult for me, although I may still be available depending on the situation, so you are always welcome to send me a message to check availability I currently live in an apartment complex and do not have a private garden, which means fulltime dog boarding at my home can be a bit more limited depending on the dog and the situation. However, if your dog only needs to stay somewhere for a few hours for example, to bridge part of the day rather than staying an entire day or overnight that is absolutely possible at my place. My apartment is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a dog for shorter periods of time. I already do this regularly with one of my parents’ dogs to help them out from time to time, so I am experienced in having dogs stay with me in a calm and comfortable environment. Of course, this is always coordinated properly, which means that if I am caring for your dog, there will not unexpectedly be another dog present unless discussed beforehand. I also genuinely enjoy being outdoors and spending active, quality time with dogs. With my own family dogs, I love doing simple things like playing with a tennis ball or a toy, practicing little tricks, going for walks, relaxing outside together, cuddling, and giving them attention. For me, it is really the small moments and connection with a dog that make it enjoyable, and spending time with dogs genuinely gives me a lot of energy and happiness. One important thing to mention is that Rover sometimes requires me to select fixed availability options that do not fully reflect how flexible I actually am. Because of that, it is possible that I may not always appear in certain search results. In reality, my availability is often much more flexible and depends a bit on the specific day and situation. Over: Sinds jongs af aan heb ik een grote liefde voor honden. Toen ik jonger was wilde ik al heel graag een eigen hond, en samen met mijn zus hadden we vaste adressen waar we honden mochten uitlaten. Dat deden we altijd met veel plezier. Vanaf mijn 16e heb ik samen met mijn moeder en zus ook een eigen hond gehad, waardoor ik ervaring heb met de dagelijkse verzorging, wandelen en aandacht geven aan een hond. Helaas is mijn moeder drie jaar geleden overleden en hebben we ons hondje een nieuw liefdevol thuis moeten geven, omdat we haar niet meer de tijd en aandacht konden geven die ze verdiende. Daarom is oppassen voor mij een hele fijne manier om weer tijd met honden door te brengen. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd om voor huisdieren te zorgen. Mijn studie begint pas weer op 13 april en ik werk momenteel niet, waardoor ik flexibel beschikbaar ben om tijd met hondjes door te brengen – iets wat ik ook echt heel leuk vind om te doen. Wanneer mijn studie weer begint, ben ik nog steeds goed beschikbaar, omdat het grotendeels thuisstudie is. Ik wandel zelf graag buiten, dus het lijkt me alleen maar leuk om dit samen met een hond te doen. Daarnaast vind ik het belangrijk om dieren veel aandacht en zorg te geven, zodat ze zich op hun gemak voelen. Ik woon op de eerste verdieping in een appartement van ongeveer 50 m² in Amsterdam samen met mijn zus (ook hondenliefhebber). Er is een ruim balkon waar hondjes frisse lucht kunnen krijgen. In de buurt ligt het Flevopark, een groot park waar ik graag langere wandelingen maak met de honden. Bij mij thuis zorg ik ervoor dat honden zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen, met voldoende aandacht, rust en beweging. Als ik bij het baasje thuis oppas, volg ik natuurlijk zoveel mogelijk de routine van het dier, zoals de gebruikelijke wandelmomenten en eet momenten.

Over: I have taken care of dogs of all kind no matter the breed. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter in the US for two years, where I walked dogs, big and small, who were described as energetic, temperamental, calm, loving, feisty, and all the adjectives you can think of! My family and I used to have two dogs whom my mom saved from illegal dog sellers. Both of them unfortunately were diagnosed with highly fatal illnesses and passed away not long after. So I have experiences caring for dogs with illnesses, feeding medicines, or certain things that need extra attention. I'm currently a Master's student so I am have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends. I have a flexible working schedule since I am now doing fieldwork for my thesis. I am especially free for pet boarding during the weekends where I love to chill at home or have tea with friends. I am currently in a student housing room. I have a balcony where the pet can get fresh air. Even though not as spacious, my room is clean, neat, and has plenty of space for small pets, cats especially, to roam around and parkour.

Over: My pug was one of my best friends, but unfortunately she's no longer with us and I miss having a furry friend around. I have lots of experience with the things that come with being a "smush face" breed like reverse sneezing etc. But am equally capable of taking care of other breeds as well, most recently I took care of a beagle and golden retriever. I enjoyed it so much that I thought I would make a profile here and see if I could do it more often. :) I typically work from home so I can keep your pooch company and vice versa throughout the day. I go to dance classes every Tuesday and Thursday evening, so if they're staying overnight I may leave them on their own for a few hours at a time. Similarly on the weekends, there are some days I'm mostly hanging at home and others where I might be out for short periods of time :) I don't have any pets of my own so my full attention will be on taking care of yours when they are with me :)
