Over: I've been surrounded by cats and dogs since I was a small child, along with chickens and ducks, so I truly understand how to read and care for different animals' needs. I have my own cat whom I completely adore and take care of every day, and I've also looked after many dogs over the years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them for neighbors, friends, and family. For example, I used to regularly walk and take care of my neighbor's two Maltipoos, and I genuinely miss that daily routine with them since she moved to another city. I'm separately studying animal psychology to better understand both cats' and dogs' behavior, which helps me provide calm, attentive, and knowledgeable care for any pet I look after. I currently have a flexible schedule, which means I'm available to care for pets throughout the entire day including feeding, walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. Since I'm not tied to fixed working hours, I can easily adapt to whatever routine works best for your pet, whether that's mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I live in a two-room apartment with a balcony, and I can only host cats there, since I have my own cat who doesn't get along well with dogs. For dogs, I prefer to come to the owner's home instead. From my experience, some animals get quite anxious when their environment suddenly changes and they're surrounded by unfamiliar people, so staying in their own familiar space is often the better and calmer option for them.

Over: I grew up with a dog for 12 years and was his main caretaker, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day responsibilities of looking after a pet. I handled feeding, walks, grooming, playtime, and also more specific medical care. My dog required injections and special attention, so I have experience staying calm and careful when pets need extra care. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs I care for. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting during the week and often on weekends as well. I currently live in a student apartment, so I focus on providing care in the owner’s home or through walks and drop-in visits. I’m very respectful of people’s spaces and of each dog’s routine. I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you know your dog is doing well.

Over: I recently moved away from home, and I really miss my dog! I love walking her, and was hoping to find a new friend to walk. I’ve previously also walked dogs in my other neighborhood:) My routine is quite diverse under the week, so it’s dependent on the day! However I am almost always free to walk on the weekends!! I sadly can’t have animals in my home, however I would be willing to talk about offering pet sitting, depending on when and how long :)

I also have my own dog, so I completely understand how important it is to know your pet is in safe and caring hands. I treat every dog as if they were my own—patiently, gently, and with lots of attention. I also followed a dog First Aid course :) What you can expect after contacting me : - A few questions so I can have an idea of what you need & who your dog is - We meet and go for a walk with your dog so I can see him/her interact with the world - I can start walking your dog :) I usually start walking dogs with a 5 (or 10) meter leash (if we agreed on unleashed walks) until trust is established. If your dog is reactive or anxious, or prefers solo walks with no contact with other dogs, I'm also happy to provide that. I'm happy to walk around your neighboroud/local park or if i have multiple dogs, I take them to Twiske or a nice nature park. I have a car & bakfiets, and doing this full time so I'm very flexible with picking up/dropping off. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog! At 25, I had my second Old English Sheepdog, and this time I was fully responsible for her care. I handled daily walks, feeding, vet visits, health monitoring, and grooming. Caring for large, strong breeds has given me confidence, responsibility, and a deep understanding of dogs’ needs, routines, and behavior. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your dog. I am available most days of the week, including weekdays and Sundays. On Saturdays, I am available after 3 PM. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Your dog will not be left alone for long periods. I live in a two-bedroom apartment with a private fenced garden, which gives dogs a safe outdoor space to explore and relax. My home is calm and family-oriented, shared with my husband and our 15-year-old teenager. There are no small children, so the environment is peaceful and predictable. I always prioritize safety, routine, and comfort. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special instructions provided by owners. Your dog will be treated as part of our family and cared for with patience and attention.

Over: Hoi! Ik ben 22 jaar en studeer Software Engineering. Dieren spelen al mijn hele leven een grote rol. Sinds mijn geboorte heb ik katten in huis gehad en momenteel woon ik samen met twee Maine Coons(woon nog thuis bij mijn ouders). Daarnaast heb ik van jongs af aan regelmatig honden uitgelaten in de buurt en heb ik ervaring met het oppassen op honden van familieleden. Ik ben zowel actief als rustig ingesteld: ik ga graag lekker wandelen en spelen met energieke dieren, maar kan ook genieten van een ontspannen moment samen op de bank. Ik begrijp dat ieder dier zijn eigen karakter, tempo en behoeftes heeft, en ik pas me daar flexibel op aan. Betrouwbaarheid en zorg staan bij mij voorop. Ik werk netjes, geef elk huisdier de aandacht die het verdient en zorg ervoor dat baasjes met een gerust hart de deur uit kunnen Momenteel werk ik niet veel. Voor mijn studie zit ik vaak achter mijn laptop huiswerk te maken. 1 of 2 dagen per week heb ik les. Daarnaast sport ik soms en ben ik vaak thuis. Ik hou van dieren dus daarom is dit graag iets wat ik met liefde doe Ik zorg dat alles schoon blijft en let altijd op uw huisdier met veel aandacht. Als hij/zij wilt spelen of naar buiten dan doe ik dat. Als ze liever rust willen dan zal ik ook niet achter ze aangaan voor mijn eigen vermaak. Ik respecteer uw huisdier. Verder met uitlaten zal ik altijd opletten op de omgeving en andere honden zodat uw huisdier altijd in een veilige omgeving zijn ding kan doen

So this is the perfect opportunity for me and I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs on Rover, after graduating from undergrad I took up dog sitting and I have watched homes and pets while family is out of town since then. I am very flexible and reliable and would have a great time with your pet! Why I love dog sitting: I had a dog who I was extremely close with and since his passing I miss a dog's companionship. Because of school and work I'm not able to take care of a dog full time so in the meantime I would love to keep yours company! I’m currently working from home and on my own schedule so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and give them lots of attention! How I care for pets varies on the individual pup or cat. Every one of them have their own special needs so I will be sure to be informed and have notes on the stay before booking.

I'd be happy to lend a hand to local pet owners with daily walks, drop-ins, overnight care and of course lots of cuddles :) I'm a remote graphic designer which allows for me to work at home. I have full-time availability for pet caretaking which includes morning-evening, weekends and holiday care. I live solo in a studio with a fenced yard which allows for your pup/s to explore outside and for quick potty breaks. Your pup/s will have the space to themselves - I don't own other animals.
