Over: I moved here recently here with my partner and I am taking a break from nursing to pursue other things! I love dogs which is why I have my own dog named Andie, who I am home with most days. We welcome dogs into our home, and your dog can have a little playdate! I have experience with separation anxiety, and I will honor whatever care plan that you may have in place. I can administer medications and make sure your dog feels welcome and secure. I will provide as many updates you like on your pup because I know what it’s like to feel anxious about not being around them. My home is open to your fur baby! I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. I’ll initially watch them closely to assess how they interact in their home. I do this for my own understanding so I can best read their needs.

Over: I don't remember when I didn't have dogs, they are my faithful companions since I was born. I had small, medium-sized dogs and now with my family we have a giant German shepherd! Now that I live in Amsterdam and I miss my puppy I wish I could give my love to other puppies! I am loving and attentive to the needs of a dog, I love taking long walks. I can't wait to meet your pets ! :) I have a full time job with some days of working from home, and on friday i finish at 4. I come home very early after work. And in any case I'm flexible if needed. I live in the middle of Westerpark so in a really green and dog friendly place. I can bring the dog to have walks really often.
Over: Honden maken me oprecht blij. Hun energie, hun eerlijkheid en het contact dat je zonder woorden kunt hebben daar geniet ik echt van. En eerlijk is eerlijk: van een kwispelende staart word ik gewoon blij. Wat begon als iets wat ik gewoon heel leuk vond, wil ik nu graag verder uitbouwen. Het voelt voor mij als een hobby die ik met liefde heb omgezet naar werk. Voor mij voelt het dan ook niet als “werk”, maar als gezelschap waar je aandacht aan geeft. Ik kies bewust voor 1-op-1 zorg, omdat ik merk dat rust en aandacht zoveel verschil maken. Geen groepswandelingen of haast, maar echt afstemmen op wat een hond nodig heeft. Ik heb inmiddels ervaring met veel verschillende honden. Ik vind een wederzijdse vertrouwensband opbouwen heel belangrijk! Een hond moet zich veilig voelen. Daarom neem ik de tijd om elkaar rustig te leren kennen en kijk ik goed naar lichaamstaal, energie en tempo. Elke hond is anders en dat vind ik juist mooi. De zorg voor honden plan ik bewust in mijn week in. Het is niet iets wat ik er even tussendoor doe, maar iets waar ik echt ruimte voor maak. Het zorgen voor honden is inmiddels een vast onderdeel van mijn werkweek geworden. Doordat ik mijn eigen planning indeel, kan ik zorgen voor rust, aandacht en een ontspannen ritme. Geen volle agenda’s of haast, maar tijd om echt af te stemmen. Voor de honden-uitlaatservice ben ik beschikbaar ik in de omgeving van het Erasmuspark, Westerpark, de Jordaan en de Houthavens fijne plekken waar beweging, veiligheid en veel honden samenkomen 😉 Daarnaast bied ik ook overnachtingen aan, zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend. Honden verblijven dan in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving. Ik vang nooit meer dan twee honden tegelijk op, zodat de aandacht persoonlijk en ontspannen blijft.

Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Ik hoop jouw hond een heerlijk verblijf te geven vol met fijne wandelingen, plezier en de nodige rust. Ik kijk er naar uit! Momenteel werk ik vanuit huis dus ik ben zeer flexibel. Soms moet ik de deur uit voor een afspraak maar over het algemeen veel thuis. Ik woon in een fijn ruim appartement waar veel plek is voor de hond. Ik woon aan een mooi park met een groot grasveld waar ik graag ga wandelen. Ook is het Vliegenbos niet ver weg, daar wandel ik graag naartoe.

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

Over: I've been surrounded by cats and dogs since I was a small child, along with chickens and ducks, so I truly understand how to read and care for different animals' needs. I have my own cat whom I completely adore and take care of every day, and I've also looked after many dogs over the years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them for neighbors, friends, and family. For example, I used to regularly walk and take care of my neighbor's two Maltipoos, and I genuinely miss that daily routine with them since she moved to another city. I'm separately studying animal psychology to better understand both cats' and dogs' behavior, which helps me provide calm, attentive, and knowledgeable care for any pet I look after. I currently have a flexible schedule, which means I'm available to care for pets throughout the entire day including feeding, walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. Since I'm not tied to fixed working hours, I can easily adapt to whatever routine works best for your pet, whether that's mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I live in a two-room apartment with a balcony, and I can only host cats there, since I have my own cat who doesn't get along well with dogs. For dogs, I prefer to come to the owner's home instead. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Because of my professional background managing packs, safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities, whether looking after a pet in my home or yours.

Mijn diensten zijn van 07:45 tot 16:15 uur en van 14:30 tot 23:00 uur. Daardoor heb ik zowel vóór als na mijn werk tijd om voor het huisdier te zorgen. Dit hangt af van de service die ik aanbied. Ik zorg ervoor dat het huisdier voldoende eten en drinken krijgt, de nodige aandacht en beweging krijgt en zich comfortabel voelt. Bij de verzorging bij het baasje thuis houd ik mij aan de gewoontes en instructies van het baasje, zodat het huisdier zich zoveel mogelijk op zijn gemak voelt.

Over: Honden maken me oprecht blij. Hun energie, hun eerlijkheid en het contact dat je zonder woorden kunt hebben daar geniet ik echt van. En eerlijk is eerlijk: van een kwispelende staart word ik gewoon blij. Wat begon als iets wat ik gewoon heel leuk vond, wil ik nu graag verder uitbouwen. Het voelt voor mij als een hobby die ik met liefde heb omgezet naar werk. Voor mij voelt het dan ook niet als “werk”, maar als gezelschap waar je aandacht aan geeft. Ik kies bewust voor 1-op-1 zorg, omdat ik merk dat rust en aandacht zoveel verschil maken. Geen groepswandelingen of haast, maar echt afstemmen op wat een hond nodig heeft. Ik heb inmiddels ervaring met veel verschillende honden. Ik vind een wederzijdse vertrouwensband opbouwen heel belangrijk! Een hond moet zich veilig voelen. Daarom neem ik de tijd om elkaar rustig te leren kennen en kijk ik goed naar lichaamstaal, energie en tempo. Elke hond is anders en dat vind ik juist mooi. De zorg voor honden plan ik bewust in mijn week in. Het is niet iets wat ik er even tussendoor doe, maar iets waar ik echt ruimte voor maak. Het zorgen voor honden is inmiddels een vast onderdeel van mijn werkweek geworden. Doordat ik mijn eigen planning indeel, kan ik zorgen voor rust, aandacht en een ontspannen ritme. Geen volle agenda’s of haast, maar tijd om echt af te stemmen. Voor de honden-uitlaatservice ben ik beschikbaar ik in de omgeving van het Erasmuspark, Westerpark, de Jordaan en de Houthavens fijne plekken waar beweging, veiligheid en veel honden samenkomen 😉 Daarnaast bied ik ook overnachtingen aan, zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend. Honden verblijven dan in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving. Ik vang nooit meer dan twee honden tegelijk op, zodat de aandacht persoonlijk en ontspannen blijft.

En is dus heel goed bevallen! Ik ben erg blij dat ik Marcel kan vragen op Moos te passen, als we omhoog zitten.”
Over: Honden zijn altijd een groot onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb al sinds mijn tweede levensjaar altijd één of meerdere honden thuis gehad. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende rassen, karakters en leeftijden en weet ik hoe belangrijk rust, structuur en aandacht zijn. Door mijn drukke werk en mijn regelmatige reizen vind ik het op dit moment niet eerlijk om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben. Toch mis ik de gezelligheid en liefde die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom is Rover voor mij de perfecte oplossing: ik kan honden een fijne, veilige en liefdevolle plek bieden, terwijl baasjes met een gerust hart weg kunnen. Ik behandel elke hond alsof het mijn eigen hond is. Betrouwbaarheid, goede communicatie en het welzijn van de hond staan voor mij altijd op de eerste plaats. Ik werk flexibel waardoor ik mijn planning goed kan afstemmen. Ik ben beschikbaar op zowel doordeweekse dagen als in het weekend en denk graag mee als er last-minute opvang nodig is. ik ben opgegroeid met honden, waardoor de verzorging voor mij heel natuurlijk voelt. Jouw hond verblijft in een ruim appartement van ongeveer 120 m² met voldoende ruimte om te ontspannen. Ik woon op loopafstand van zowel het Erasmuspark als het Rembrandtpark, waardoor we meerdere keren per dag fijne wandelingen kunnen maken in een groene omgeving. Of je hond nu graag actief is of juist behoefte heeft aan rust, ik zorg ervoor dat hij of zij zich veilig, ontspannen en thuis voelt.
