I have two dogs so taking care of pets is just part of my everyday life. I feed them, take them for walks, play with them and make sure they always have fresh water. They are very friendly with other dogs so they can keep each other company, also my apartment is large so there is space for them to be on their own too.

Besides that my family and friends always counted on me to take care of their animals, for instance my grandmother dog or my aunt cat. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. I’ve been walking dogs for several years now, including regularly at a local shelter where I work with all kinds of breeds and temperaments. I also have my own dog, so I completely understand how important it is to know your pet is in safe and caring hands. I treat every dog as if they were my own—patiently, gently, and with lots of attention. If it's not clear by now, dogs are my passion <3 Being a dog trainer and behaviourist helps me understand dogs on a deeper level and handle any situation calmly and confidently. I also followed a dog First Aid course :) What you can expect after contacting me : - A few questions so I can have an idea of what you need & who your dog is - We meet and go for a walk with your dog so I can see him/her interact with the world - I can start walking your dog :) I usually start walking dogs with a 5 (or 10) meter leash (if we agreed on unleashed walks) until trust is established. If your dog is reactive or anxious, or prefers solo walks with no contact with other dogs, I'm also happy to provide that. I'm happy to walk around your neighboroud/local park or if i have multiple dogs, I take them to Twiske or a nice nature park. Over: I had my first dog when I was eleven, I learned to take care of him (walking, cleaning up, giving medicine, etc). I’ve also had 4 other dogs in my life and 2 years ago while I lived in France I obtained experience working by taking care of a big dog for a week. I’m also experienced with cats and ferrets :) I work part time with a flexible schedule, so I have a few free spots in my schedule during the week and weekends. I’m mostly open for walks and visits during the afternoon or nighttime. I’m very careful with belongings and animals, I try to be as gentle as I can with them and be aware of what the need.

Over: I recently moved away from home, and I really miss my dog! I love walking her, and was hoping to find a new friend to walk. I’ve previously also walked dogs in my other neighborhood:) My routine is quite diverse under the week, so it’s dependent on the day! However I am almost always free to walk on the weekends!! Over: Ik heb in mijn hele leven al honden en katten om me heen gehad. Verzorgen vind ik heerlijk, hierom ben ik ook mijn lichaam & vachtverzorgingdiploma gehaald. Ook heb ik meerdere puppy cursussen bijgewoond en ook met oudere honden weet ik raad. Ik ben niet snel bang voor huisdieren, maar ik vind ze allemaal even leuk! Ik ben buiten rover werkeloos, ik woon samen met mijn lieve vriend en zoontje. Ik heb daardoor wel elke dag tijd voor de verzorging van huisdieren. Bij mij thuis is helaas momenteel geen optie maar misschien in de toekomst wel. Bij het baasje thuis verzorg ik precies zoals mij gevraagd wordt. Hier kunnen duidelijke afspraken over gemaakt worden uiteraard.
