Over: I am based in Amsterdam Noord and have a strong love for dogs. Having had dogs as pets in the past, I am confident in my ability to take great care of your pet. Although I’m unable to have my own dog at the moment, I enjoy spending playful time with them, which is why I’ve often dog-sat for friends. Now, I’d love to extend this care to others. I work hybrid from home, so I have plenty of time to take care of and supervise your dog. My home is just a few minutes from the Noorderpark metro station, making it convenient for drop-offs and an excellent area for walks and playtime. Additionally, the Vliegenbos forest is only a 10-minute walk away, providing another great option for longer walks. I only host one dog at a time to ensure they receive my full attention and care. The neighborhood is very pet-friendly, with many people walking their dogs and several neighbors owning pets. My schedule allows me to be constantly present with the dog, ensuring their daily routine is undisturbed. The dog will sleep either in the living room on the first floor or in a bedroom across from mine on the second floor if they require extra attention. My apartment also has a fully fenced balcony/terrace, which can be used for some playtime if the weather permits. When hosting a dog overnight, I provide at least three walks daily: two shorter ones of 10–15 minutes in the morning and evening and a longer one of 30–45 minutes in the afternoon. I am committed to creating a safe, loving, and playful environment for your pet while they’re with me. Working from home gives me this ability of being constantly with the dog without disrupting our daily routine. Apart from that there is always need for some exercise and walking with a dog at the park is the best one the balcony is fenced, so no risks there. During the stay/walk my attention will be on the pet always offering care and games. I have been taking care of dogs for many many years and i know how to understand them

Over: Hey there! I grew up with animals my whole life and love them dearly. The only reason I don’t have my own pets is because I travel quite often. I find pet sitting to be the perfect short-term solution! I’ve been house sitting for friends dogs, cats, fish and lizards for about 5 years in Amsterdam. Found out about this app and realize I can make some additional side money while helping some other people out too! If I ever agree to house sitting or taking care of an animal, I plan to work from home those days. My role requires a lot of meeting but I always make sure to have gaps every 1.5-2 hours. I usually use this time to play w the animals or take them on a walk. If your animal like to run, they can always join me for one in the morning! I try not to even leave the pets alone for more than an 2-3 hours, depending on how comfortable the animal feels in their/my house while you’re gone. At my house, I have a ~20m2 backyard. The rest of my house is very pet-safe. I essentially have 2 front doors which means extra safety and little chance of jail breaks! My sister’s dog is obsessed with food so I’ve been conditioned on what food is offlimits when animals are staying with me and I never leave anything edible unattended hahah!

Over: Wij hebben sinds 2022 onze eigen gezinshond, een dalmatiër reu met de naam Mylo. Mylo werd mijn 4e kind nadat mijn jongste naar groep 1 ging. Ik heb ervaring met puppytijd, heb talloze cursussen gevolgd, en kan her en der ook helpen bij het trainen van je hond. Ik ben natuurlijk geen officiële hondentrainer, maar vind het wel erg leuk! Ik werk vanuit huis, en ben hierdoor grotendeels van de dag thuis. Ik ben geduldig en liefdevol. Ik bied flexibiliteit en voldoende aandacht. Wij hebben een eigen bedrijf in meubelreiniging, mijn man is hiervoor buiten de deur aan het werk en ik zit thuis achter de schermen. Hierdoor ben ik grotendeels van de dag thuis, op kinderen halen en brengen van school na of een boodschapje oid. Wij hebben een dalmatiër van bijna 2 jaar, Mylo. Mylo is een gecastreerde vriendelijke reu. Doordat we zelf een hond hebben beschik ik over diverse lijnen, trektuigen, een bench, voerbakken, speelgoed, brain training tools etc. We hebben ook een kat, Zazu. Dit is een ragdoll die voornamelijk buiten is.
