I have hands-on experience from volunteering at dog shelters in both Texas and Hungary, where I cared for animals of all ages—from tiny puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and gentleness. I also spent a full year as a trusted dog sitter in Amsterdam before moving away for my studies, building strong relationships with pets and their owners through reliability, warmth, and consistent communication. I’m attentive to routines, comfortable with a wide range of temperaments, and available to provide flexible, personalised care. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and genuinely understood. I’m currently in between jobs, so I am available both weekdays and weekends. I am very happy to wake up early and have a couple late nights if it’s needed for handovers etc. In my home, I provide a calm, spacious and pet-focused environment with no other animals or children, making it ideal for pets who need a peaceful and predictable space. In my clients homes I follow their established routines closely to ensure comfort and I make sure to keep their environment tidy. Over: As a young girl, I had the wonderful opportunity to look after a family friend’s dog for one or two months at a time over several years. It brought me so much joy and helped me realise my love for animals, especially dogs. Since that dog sadly passed away, I’ve continued to enjoy caring for my friends’ dogs and taking them on lovely walks. I’m still hoping to find a furry companion of my own here in Amsterdam! I’m currently a student, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I don’t have a fixed daily routine, so I’m often free to go for walks in the morning and around lunchtime. I live in Amsterdam in a cosy flat with two flatmates. It’s a safe and relaxed place, ideal for dogs to feel comfortable. Even though there’s no garden, I live right next to a lovely park where we can go for long walks every day. I always make sure each pet feels calm, cared for, and has plenty of attention.

Over: I grew up surrounded by dogs and can’t imagine life without them. My first dog was a Golden Retriever when I was little, and later my family had a Border Collie — a wonderful, energetic dog that I personally trained and cared for. Those years taught me not only responsibility but also how to understand different dog personalities and needs. Now I have my own dog, an 8-month-old Miniature American Shepherd girl. She’s friendly with other dogs, playful, and social. We do agility training together for fun, and we’ve worked with three professional dog trainers, which has given me a lot of practical knowledge. She struggled with separation anxiety when she was younger, and helping her overcome it taught me patience, consistency, and how important emotional support is for dogs. I’m not a certified trainer, but I do have strong hands-on experience and a deep understanding of dog behavior. My dog is small, sweet, and gentle. She hasn’t been in heat yet and is not neutered, so please keep this in mind when booking. We are flexible- usually a walkie in the morning, park in the afternoon and walkie in the evening. Can do whatever the owner prefers. We can take as many potty breaks as needed. I have a two floors apartment with dog toys, chewies and kick mats, dogs can either only have access to living room with me or the whole apartment.

Over: Back at home in Poland I have three cats who are my best friends. Although I never had the pleasure of having my own dog, I love all sizes, ages, and breeds. I will provide the best care I can to your pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Amsterdam. Due to my student status, my days are very flexible. Besides the times I have to be in class (which is only a couple of hours during the week), I am available. I love to live a healthy and active live with lots of walks, balanced by quality time at home. Both in my home and at the owner's home I am focused on safety and comfort of the pets. I believe it is most important to preserve the routine and habits of the pet. I am happy to make adjustments to my home and adhere to the rules of the owner (both in mine and your homes), as they are the ones that know their pets best. Important notice: I live on the fourth floor, with a typical steep Dutch staircase. I am more than happy to help your pets get up and down the stairs if I can, but please take that into consideration.

Over: Ik hou enorm van honden en heb mijn hele jeugd zwarte labradors gehad. Ik mis het enorm en wil daarom graag helpen met honden uitlaten en verzorgen! Momenteel zit ik tussen twee banen in, dus ik heb alle flexibiliteit qua dagen en tijden! Stuur me gerust even een bericht om te overleggen wat mogelijk is. Ik heb een fijn appartement vlak naast het Westerpark en voldoende ruimte om een bench neer te zetten. Bij mij thuis ontvang ik alleen kleine honden die ik makkelijk van mijn trap kan dragen.

Met mijn achtergrond kan ik soepel inspelen op de behoeften van uw viervoeter, of het nu gaat om een speelse wandeling, een rustige knuffelsessie, of het laten uitrusten van uw huisdier. Van speelse wandelingen tot knusse overnachtingen en alles daartussenin, bij mij krijgt uw hond de zorg die hij verdient. Als verpleegkundige heb ik een onregelmatig rooster, met vaak wisselende diensten en gaten in mijn schema. Ondanks de onregelmatigheid kan ik tijdens mijn vrije momenten consistent en betrouwbaar zorg bieden voor uw huisdieren. Ik kan u huisdier gezelschap houden tijdens uw afwezigheid. Ik ben in staat om de verzorging, voeden en het spelen even van u over te nemen. Hierdoor krijgt u huisdier de aandacht en zorg die hij of zij verdient, zelfs wanneer mijn rooster wisselend is. Bij mij thuis bied ik een ruime en comfortabele omgeving voor uw huisdier. Mijn appartement bevindt zich op de zesde verdieping, maar geen zorgen: er is een lift aanwezig voor gemakkelijke toegang. Mijn woning is groot en biedt uw huisdier veel ruimte om te verkennen en zich op zijn gemak te voelen. Hoewel mijn balkon op zes hoog is, is het voorzien van een betonnen muur die voorkomt dat uw huisdier erdoorheen kan vallen. De deuren naar het balkon blijven gesloten als u zich daar niet prettig bij voelt, zodat er binnen voldoende ruimte is voor uw huisdier om te ontspannen en te spelen. Daarnaast woon ik vlak bij het Rembrandtpark, waar we samen lange en verfrissende wandelingen kunnen maken. Dit biedt uw huisdier de kans om voldoende beweging te krijgen en van de buitenlucht te genieten. Of de verzorging bij mij thuis plaatsvindt of tijdens een wandeling, ik zorg ervoor dat de behoeften van uw huisdier volledig worden vervuld. Voor zorg bij mij; u huisdier profiteert van een ruime, veilige en liefdevolle omgeving, evenals de mogelijkheid om heerlijk te wandelen in het nabijgelegen park.

Over: I've been studying in the Netherlands for two years now, and during this time, I've had the joy of petsitting over 30 dogs and cats. I'm originally from China, where I had a Papillon named Sanbao and an American Shorthair tabby named Bawan, who's now seven years old. After moving to the Netherlands, I missed them so much that I decided to start petsitting—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Over the past two years, I've welcomed all kinds of dogs into my home, and through housesitting, I’ve also stayed at many lovely homes across Amsterdam. I love cuddles, I'm warm and enthusiastic, and I always spend quality time playing with the pets I look after. I don't think I'm helping them, they also help me with having a good time during my study here, and grow into a more responsible adult! I'm a student in college with only a few classes each week, and my schedule is quite flexible. If a dog needs walking, I usually come home right after a two-hour lecture. Over: Mijn moeder, als dierenarts, heeft mij alles geleerd. Daarnaast groeide ik op, op het platteland, eerst Tasmanië en toen Drenthe. De liefde voor dieren heb ik altijd al gevoeld en is nooit weggegaan. Mijn 1e woordje was: ‘paarden’ Ik heb mijn ervaring op 18 jaar gezet, omdat ik nu 24 ben en ik de eerste 5/6 jaar van mijn leven niet goed kan terughalen natuurlijk. Ik ben flexibel en hou tijd over om te helpen naast mijn werk. Ik kan altijd vanuit huis werken, dus dat scheelt enorm! Ik heb een eigen paard en hier ga ik in het weekend heen! Ik schrijf alles goed op; welke klusjes ik moet doen en ik bespreek dit van te voren goed met de eigenaar. Ik zorg dat ik er verzorgd uit zie, ik kom op tijd en ik zoek van te voren contact met het baasje.

Beanie, our mini Teckel/ Dachshund, loved them from the very first moment and that immediately put us at ease. Over: two years ago, a sick cat of 5-months age, came to my home. I took him to the hospital, doing the physical exam, blood test, and deworming. I helped medicine he took after every meal, he recovered. After one year, I need to study abroad, so I find someone reliable to adopt him. I have the skills to take care of even sick cats. I’m a student, so apart from classes, I’m at home most of the time. So I can nearly be there for your pets all day, thus, I can take your pets for walk timely. I lived in the flat, we have a huge yard in the center of the flat. Also, I live near a river and about three or four small gardens, also with countless grass. There are plenty of spaces for a walk.
