“Since I’ve been friends with Micaela, dogs have always been part of her personality and lifestyle. Micaela and her family have rescued and fostered many dogs and showered them with love, protection and brought fun and confidence back into their lives. Working remotely 5 days a week, plenty of time to give your pet the full attention it needs. Over: My family and I have had a hunting dog since I was 5 years old. I went to dog school with him, agility training and took him literally wherever I went with me. Unfortunately, as I am now studying abroad and am no longer in Berlin (my hometown), I miss him very much and would love to look after another dog in my free time. Since I mainly just study, I have a lot of time around it and would love to take care of a dog and walk/spend time with him/her. I live in a small apartment and have a beautiful park right in front of my door. The residential area is very quiet and pet-friendly

Over: I grew up in a private house where our family had two dogs and two cats at the time (and also rabbits, chickens and even pigs sometimes 🐽). So yeah, I know how to behave with animals. During the pandemic, I got a rescue dog as an adult person without my parents' support. Lynch became my best friend and companion, together we were travelling, moved to a new country and met many more pet and human friends. I also pet-sitted my friends' dogs and cats (both at the same time). And no - as a paid sitter I'm not going to take more than one dog 😅 I know how it can be when you need to leave your favourite kid to manage human things. And I will be happy to make it as comfortable as possible for other dog parents. I'm currently looking for a new full-time job and spend most of my time at home or walking out with my own dog. I can have calls during the day but am mostly very flexible and can adapt to your needs especially if we'll discuss it in advance. I have a mid-size dog (16 kg), he's friendly to other dogs (actually he's just ignoring them most of the time) and we hosted friends' dogs at our house. However, I will require the first intro meeting for them out of the house. If you need only a day walk, we can arrange it individually with or without my dog's presence. I don't unleash the dogs of others. And as the owner myself, I know all basic safety rules.

“Jean is een hele fijne hondenoppas & trainer. Hij past vaak op onze hond Oakie, soms kort maar ook wel eens voor een week. Ik laat haar altijd met een gerust hart achter bij Jean. Het is zo fijn om te weten dat ze geen verkeerde dingen aan leert bij Jean aangezien hij ook hondentrainer is. Hij vraagt naar welke commando’s je hond kent en welke woorden je gebruikt, zodat je hond niet in de war raakt. Daarnaast corrigeert hij verkeerd gedrag op een vriendelijke manier en bevordert hij goed gedrag door positief de hond toe te spreken. Oakie kan het geweldig met zijn hond Ghost vinden. Ghost is een super lieve, goed getrainde hond en geeft daarmee het goede voorbeeld aan onze Oakie. Ze gaat echt door het dollen heen als ze ghost ziet.”
