Over: Small senior dogs have held a special place in my heart since I watched my own dog Mischa (orange pomeranian in the photos) go from fiesty puppy to (slightly less feisty) white faced senior. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to Mischa earlier this year at the ripe age of 16. Until I’m ready to adopt another dog, I have the extra time, care and space to look after your dog while you are traveling or simply too busy to give your furry family member the time and attention they need. I have experience looking after my friends’ dogs and cats while they are traveling, and particularly have experience with special needs senior dogs who need specific routines, food, medication, or have unique behaviour/personalities. I work from home most days and live near Flevopark, so I have the ability to look after a dog all day and provide frequent walks throughout the day. My apartment is on the 3rd floor with no yard, but I live very close to the Flevopark where dogs can be walked on or off leash. There are no other animals or children in my home. For boarding, my home is best suited for older smaller dogs (below 10kgs). I prefer to only look after one dog at a time -if you have two small/medium dogs who come as a pair, that is possible but please reach out to discuss first.

Over: I have recently spent 2 months training my senior dog that I adopted from Portugal. He is amazing and is living his best life. He is like a totally different dog from when I got him. He has taught me patience and unconditional love. Pet care takes a lot of my daily and weekly routine. I have grown up always with animals - dogs, horses, hamsters that require time and patience every single day. Pets are allowed in our home and we have a fenced in small back garden incase they want to wander outside when I am in. Total of 3 walks a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner to fit around my work. They are allowed to chill wherever they want when indoors.
