Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.

Over: I've been studying in the Netherlands for two years now, and during this time, I've had the joy of petsitting over 30 dogs and cats. I'm originally from China, where I had a Papillon named Sanbao and an American Shorthair tabby named Bawan, who's now seven years old. After moving to the Netherlands, I missed them so much that I decided to start petsitting—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Over the past two years, I've welcomed all kinds of dogs into my home, and through housesitting, I’ve also stayed at many lovely homes across Amsterdam. Each pet I've cared for holds a special place in my heart: from the giant poodle Floppy, to the sweet Shih Tzu Coco, the spirited Shiba Inu Ukemochi, and the mixed-breed duo Teto & Jaap... Every experience has been unique and meaningful. I'm patient, responsible, and familiar with commands in several languages. I love cuddles, I'm warm and enthusiastic, and I always spend quality time playing with the pets I look after. I don't think I'm helping them, they also help me with having a good time during my study here, and grow into a more responsible adult! I'm a student in college with only a few classes each week, and my schedule is quite flexible. If a dog needs walking, I usually come home right after a two-hour lecture. This means I have plenty of time to spend playing and bonding with pets. With summer coming up, I’ll have even more free time! I’m flexible on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m always happy to discuss and adjust to what works best for you. I live alone in a spacious 35m² studio. While I don't have a backyard, my neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful, right next to the canal—a lovely area where many people walk their dogs. I always encourage a meet & greet before a booking, so we can make sure everything feels right for both you and your pet!

Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

Over: I’ve cared for many dogs both in my hometown and other cities. My own dogs learned tricks quickly, and I easily connect with dogs, gaining their trust too. I can also understand when they need something or how they’re feeling, making me a reliable and caring dog sitter. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for your dogs! I’m available all day on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on weekdays after 4pm. I’ll also do my best to make time on weekends for your dog’s care. I have a spacious, fenced yard where your pet can play freely, along with a big room furnished with a comfy sofa and soft carpet for relaxation. The environment is safe and welcoming, perfect for lounging or playtime. I provide plenty of toys and a cozy spot for them to rest. Safety and comfort are my top priorities! :)

Over: Fin da piccolo sono appassionato di cani , ho avuto più di 10 cani e con gli anni ho perfezionato la cura e l’attenzione da dedicare Lavoro a 1 minuto da casa e questo mi permette di poter essere sempre presente in caso di emergenza ,possiedo una dog cam dove monitorare in caso di lunga permanenza o in caso di breve assenza (supermarket ). Il cane si troverà sempre in compagnia di qualcuno perché gli orari lavorativi ci permettono di poter essere presente il più possibile Ho un appartamento situato nel cuore di Amsterdam a 5 minuti dalla stazione centrale nel palazzo abbiamo un cortile condiviso e appena sui canali dove ci sono strade chiuse al traffico in caso di un bisogno di emergenza, 10 minuti da westerpark . Sono anche un ottimo Chef capace di cucinare ottimi pasti salutari basati sulla dieta canina

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I work in Marketing & Communications and live in between 2 parks - Oosterpark and Frankendael park. I love walking, so your dog will always be entertained. I had 2 wonderful family members - a big poodle and a Coker spaniel, who lived happy long lives. As a dog sitter I provide care and safety for your pets, long walks and fun games, as well as maintaining discipline. I usually babysit the dogs of my friends and people I know and I’d like to do it for more owners and their fluffy kids:) I’d like your pet to be dropped off prior to 8am and to be picked up after 6pm on the weekdays. On a weekend the drop off and pick up are flexible. I take notes on the owners preferences and keep the dog’s usual routine to keep them away from stress. Depending on the dog’s personality, I can engage them in games and long walks or provide some space for them to be comfortable. I genially love dogs and do my best for them to enjoy the stay.
