After welcoming Lana, a beloved rescue dog, into my life, our bond inspired a heartfelt children's book that I published in 2021. Though Lana crossed the rainbow bridge two years ago, her spirit continues to live on in the love and care I offer to every furry friend I meet. This is why I decided to become a pet sitter. Over: Dogs are part of both my childhood and my adulthood. I miss my family dog and would love to give a helping hand. 
I grew up with malinois dogs and have experience with dogs of bigger sizes. But I also have experience with dachshund and smaller breads. I have followed puppy training classes and am used to handling stressed or agitated dogs. I believe the key is to stimulate them as much as they need, and make sure they are active, whether through long walks or playing games. 
 In case of emergency, you can expect me to contact you directly and take all necessary actions promptly, as the platforms facilitates. I have a car and can transport your pet safely in case of emergency.
 About me: I’ve recently finished my studies and have some time to take care of your babies. I live in a cosy apartment and have a dedicated spot for doggies in my living room. My building has an elevator so it's friendly to older dogs as well.
 I am an active person. I will play with your dog, go on long walks, change their water, feed them, take them with outside, cuddle when wanted. I have a designated space for dogs in my apartment, next to my tv which is in my living room. I include the dogs in my environment/routine, and go outside couple hours or so depending on age. Even better, I live next to a big park, perfect for walks and games.
 I don't have a breed preference or a size preference. I prefer kind dogs that are social with other dogs and used to spending time both inside and outside.

Over: Together with my fiancée Jiani, we’ve been caring for our cat Lini for years who had a heart tremor since birth, so we know how important it is that pets feel safe, loved, and understood. Now as she passed away, we love to fill our home with life and care for dogs and cats alike. We live in a spacious apartment with lots of nature nearby and like to take long walks with dogs and spend time reading on the couch with our furry visitors. I am personally also vegan and care about animals a lot, my partner is not vegan. We both care a lot about animals though :) I am working 3 days from home and my partner works 4 days a week from home. We can schedule the time, that always someone can look out for our furry visitors. Additionally to the basic care of food and drink based on the owners requirements, clean litterbox for cats or go out 3 or 4 times a day with the dog, I also make sure that animals feel home and don’t miss their owners too much. I regulate their nervous system when they have separation anxiety, with every knowledge I have. And of course play and cuddle with them a lot 🙏

Over: I had a Hikuma boy with my parents for about 6 years. So I know how to walk, treat, and play with pets (especially dogs) Every pets I met likes me and willing to get close to me;) There is great and friendly place to walk dog in my community! I am a university student but this semester I have little courses so have lot of time to work for pets, and I am excited about it! I will follow own’s requirements :) and I ofc would take dog leash to avoid them lost. The community I live have very friendly pets phenomenon, I see many cute pets every day;))

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was 10 years old. I am the regular sitter for my parents lovely beagle, but I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Bichon’s to Bernese mountains. I am happy to administer medicines to dogs. I have a flexible work from home policy, so can support you and your pet when you need me, from morning to evening and over night! I have access to a medium-sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe during those mid-night pee’s. I have ample space for a crate if needed. I live in De Pijp, right next to Sarphatipark and other open spaces.

Over: Hoi! Ik ben Sophie, 22 jaar oud en nu net woonachtig in Amsterdam voor werk. Zelf ben ik een grote hondenliefhebber, maar de rest van de familie heeft altijd een voorkeur voor katten gehad. Gelukkig genoeg vrienden en familie die wel honden hebben/hadden waar ik af en toe kon oppassen of helpen met het uitlaten. Zelf nog erg jong dus niet aan toe om nu een hond te nemen, maar dit leek mij de perfecte mogelijkheid om op honden te passen en met ze te wandelen rondom Amsterdam(oost)! Ik heb ervaring met oppassen op huisdieren, en ben ook flexibel! Voor mij maakt de grote van de hond niet uit, en ik kan me ook aan specifieke behoeftes makkelijk aanpassen. In februari en maart heb ik een tussen periode waar ik wacht tot mijn nieuw baan van start gaat, dus vooral nu erg flexibel en enthousiast om gelijk aan de slag te gaan! Ook veel ervaring met katten. Stuur gerust een berichtje:) Momenteel wachtende tot mijn baan in April van start gaat. Ik heb vooral veel actieve dagen waar ik ga hardlopen, wandelen of andere soorten sport uitprobeer! Nu dus erg veel tijd om lekker met een hond te gaan wandelen, of thuis op te passen. Ik heb een ruim appartement (85m2) met een balkon. Op de tweede verdieping zonder lift. Tussen Flevopark en Oosterpark in, dus veel groens. Flexibel ook om bij u thuis op te passen, eten te geven, of andere activiteiten/zaken.

Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

Over: Since I was a child my family always had a lot of pets in the home. I am used to taking care of dogs, giving them attention and taking them for walks. I am also used to snuggling with cats and taking care of them. As I have always loved animals and I have so much experience that I gained at home I am really looking forward to taking care of your pet! As I am a uni student I am very flexible with working hours. On monday I have four hours of classes on Tuesday two and on Thursday four hours. Outside of my classes I have availabilities for going for walks and taking pets into my home. I live in a lovely apartment with one roommate. She is a verified dogsitter and loves pets. We live very central so we are easy to reach and we have a lot of possibilties for taking the dog out.

 I live on the ground floor and have a big garden where your dog can sunbathe and relax any time they want! This garden is fenced and 100% safe. As I mentioned, I have a 6yr old female dog - if they get along, she'll be available to keep your dog company and play :)

Over: I’ve had dogs my entire life, a total of 4, who are no longer with me 🥲. They are my passion and represent a unique kind of love in this world.
