Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

I take her on three to four long walks every day around IJburg, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and attention. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, beds, and can dig on the carpet. Accidents happen and I am prepared to clean up after my dog or yours. This is a caring environment where dogs are king and queen.

Il cane si troverà sempre in compagnia di qualcuno perché gli orari lavorativi ci permettono di poter essere presente il più possibile Ho un appartamento situato nel cuore di Amsterdam a 5 minuti dalla stazione centrale nel palazzo abbiamo un cortile condiviso e appena sui canali dove ci sono strade chiuse al traffico in caso di un bisogno di emergenza, 10 minuti da westerpark . Sono anche un ottimo Chef capace di cucinare ottimi pasti salutari basati sulla dieta canina

Over: We have had our lurcher (whippet cross) Olive from a puppy and she is 5 this year. My husband and I have both grown up with dogs as well so they have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. We also have a 3 year old boy, and he absolutely adores dogs. I will be the primary caregiver looking after your dogs, but wanted to mention that there is a man and a toddler in the house as well for any sensitive pups. I work from home so will be with the dogs at all times. I can be very flexible so if you have a particular schedule that you want to follow, that’s no problem at all. I have a fenced garden and am a short walk away from Westerpark. We have a friendly and gentle lurcher called Olive that gets on with all people and dogs.

I’m only at uni about five hours a week, so I’m home most of the day. 😊 My partner Sam (26) is from England and is working on his PhD. He works from home most days and is usually only in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. This means your pet will almost always have one of us around! Sam grew up with a Labrador and cats, so caring for animals has always been part of his life. 🦮🐈 We live in a cozy (37m²) studio in Amsterdam-East, right next to Park Frankendael, with plenty of green space nearby for walks (Ring Dijk, Weesperzijde) 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. If allowed, we love going on longer walks, including trips to the Amsterdam Forest or past nearby cafés. Of course, we always follow your rules and only take pets to places where they are comfortable. Because we are both primarily home based, your pet will benefit from a very consistent routine with frequent potty breaks, interactive playtime, and a quiet, calm environment perfect for naps. :) Between our schedules, there is nearly always someone here to provide company and supervision. On the rare occasion that we are both out for lectures or research, it is never for more than 5 hours. We are more than happy to adjust our daily flow to match your pet's needs! Our apartment is kept tidy and pet proofed for safety. Although we live on the 4th floor, our building has an elevator, making it easily accessible for dogs of all ages and mobility levels! :) Downstairs, there is a ramp in addition to the stairs (which is much better for the short-legged paws) We are located right next to Park Frankendael, which offers wonderful, green routes for our daily walks. We follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, and sleep habits to ensure your dog’s routine stays consistent. As we love taking pictures you will also get consistent photo updates so you can see exactly how your pup is settling in!

I grew up with malinois dogs and have experience with dogs of bigger sizes. But I also have experience with dachshund and smaller breads. I have followed puppy training classes and am used to handling stressed or agitated dogs. I believe the key is to stimulate them as much as they need, and make sure they are active, whether through long walks or playing games. 
 In case of emergency, you can expect me to contact you directly and take all necessary actions promptly, as the platforms facilitates. I have a car and can transport your pet safely in case of emergency.
