Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: I’ve volunteered at a local animal rescue and worked as a pet sitter, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, litter cleaning, and giving medication when needed. Whether it’s a shy cat, an energetic dog, or a senior pet needing special attention, I always make sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. My goal is to make every pet as happy and comfortable as if they were at home. I moved to the Netherlands less than a year ago and am currently taking time to explore life and do what I truly love — caring for animals. Since I’m not working full-time, my schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, care, and companionship they need throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my 9-year-old cat, who is calm and friendly with both cats and dogs. My home is safe, clean, and cozy — perfect for pets to relax and feel at ease. I always make sure windows and doors are secure, and that the space is free from anything that could harm curious paws. When I care for pets at my clients’ homes, I follow their routines carefully and keep everything as familiar as possible. I also send regular photo and video updates so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and safe.

Over: I have trained our first dog when we adopted her as a puppy and I took care of her as she aged. I also have experience with high energy attention loving dogs thanks to our other little menace. I have experience administering medication, dogs with asthma, leash training and other simple tricks. I have two dogs and a cat living back home with my family. Since I moved here for university I have lots of free time in my hand that I'd like to spend with you little buddies. I live in a house with no big rooms or garden so I only can accommodate small dogs or cats. As much as I love and enjoy being with animals your instructions will also always be a top priority

Over: Hello, My name is Semonti and I live in Muziekwijk, Almere, with my husband, Indradeep Chowhdury and 2 beagles - Smurf and Pixel. I am originally from India, and lived in Singapore for some time before moving to The Netherlands in mid 2022. I have always been an ardent dog person for as long as I can remember. Since I was not permitted to have pets at home growing up, I used to feed and take care of the community dogs in my locality - that was my way of being close to them! My husband however grew up with dogs. Once we got our own place, the first thing we did was adopt a dog. Then we got another dog for my first dog and that is how we ended up with Smurf and Pixel. Now, we wish to share our home and our time with furballs whose parents are away and who need looking after. We live in a spacious 3 storey house with ample space for the dogs to laze around. There is a big, fenced backyard which is a favourite with the dogs for fun, frolick and soaking up the sun! There are nice walkways and parks around our locality and Beatrixpark Almere is a 5 minutes walk from our place. If you choose to board with us, both my husband, Indradeep and I will look after your dog. I am currently working from home permanently in a fully remote company and my husband also works from home 4 days a week. We are mostly always at home, except for maybe an hour or two sometimes when we go grocery shopping or hit the gym, so your dog will have round the clock supervision. Being a pet parent myself, I understand the importance of having a safe place to keep my boys when I am out of town, and I wish to offer the same peace of mind to fellow pet parents as well. I will ensure your dog is comfortable, well looked after and enjoy their time to the fullest while they are with us. During the stay at my place, I can walk your dog as per their schedule and preference. With regards to sleeping arrangements, your dog can sleep in the master bedroom with us, or if they prefer, in any of the other rooms, on designated dog beds. My husband also works hybrid and has to go to work only once a week. Pets under our care have 24 hour supervision. The only time we step out are for grocery runs or when we go to the gym. We live in a spacious 3 bedroom house with ample space for your dog to relax. We have a big, fenced backyard where your dog can have some good outdoors time. We also have a bedroom on the ground floor for pets who can't climb stairs. There are several dog beds around the house, plenty of plushies abd enrichment toys to keep your dogs engaged.

“Na de eerste kennismaking voelde het gelijk goed voor zowel ons als voor Mavi zelf om hem bij Maartje achter te laten toen wij op vakantie gingen. Ik kreeg hele leuke foto's toegestuurd en zag dat hij echt aan het genieten was. Mavi is niet de aller makkelijkste hond maar dit was allemaal geen probleem. Toen we Mavi weer kwamen ophalen was hij helemaal relaxed en ik beveel Maartje dan ook zeker aan als je een zorgeloze vakantie wilt.”

Over: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 16, including help with street cats’ delivering. I also took care of indoor cats and dogs from friends, family and colleagues. Currently my boyfriend and I have a two-year old Maine Coon and three chinchillas (4+yr) at home. Most of time I work from home so it’s convenient for me to spend time with the little ones. I’m very patient, trustful and friendly with pets. I’m currently working from home except every Wednesday , so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding on most weekdays after 2pm. I also don’t mind early mornings or evening visits if needed. Spending time with animals is honestly one of the best parts of my day, so I’m always happy to fit them into my routine! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, pet-friendly home with a bright living room where cats and dogs can safely play and explore. I also have a friendly, well-socialized cat who love making new friends. If your pet prefers their own space, I can absolutely crate them or keep them separated when needed. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel loved, safe, and stress-free at all time!

“My cat had a lovely time at Devi’s place! She took excellent care of her. Gave her medication and was very patience with her, because my cat is a bit traumatized with other cats. But at her stay she was relaxed and enjoyed all the cuddling. If we need an other catsitter in the future it’s definitely this host. . Over: I have taken care of my aunt‘s labrador retrievers multiple times while my aunt was on vacation. I love to spend time with furry friends and help make their lives as fun as possible. :) I am a student and have a part time job. On weekends and at nights during the week, I would able to take care of your dogs. I live in an apartment close to the city centre of Bussum. Being active in any way is something that I incorporate in my daily life, so going for long walks with your dog won’t be a problem at all!

Caring for pets has always been a natural and important part of my life, not just a job. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with all kinds of personalities and needs,from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior pets who need a calmer, more attentive approach. I understand how to adapt my care to each animal so they feel safe, respected, and comfortable. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of animal behavior, especially with more sensitive or anxious pets. This experience helped me become very intuitive, patient, and attentive to subtle signs in animals. In addition, I am comfortable administering basic medications and providing general support for pets who may need a little extra care or attention. What truly sets me apart is the level of care and presence I provide. I don’t just “watch” pets, I make sure they feel at home, relaxed, and genuinely cared for, as if they were my own.
