I’ve been around dogs for quite some time now and have hosted my friend’s dogs, and I currently have two of my own—an 8-year-old Labrador and a 3-year-old Mopshond (Pug), both adopted and brought from India to the Netherlands. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry baby, because I’ve been in your shoes. That’s why I treat every dog like one of my own—with patience, understanding, and lots of love. I live with my 2 dogs - Pandu & Neo so caring for pets is part of my everyday life—from morning walks to evening cuddle time. It’s second nature to me, and so adding one more happy face to the mix is always welcome 🥰 When your fur baby stay at my place, they become part of the family! I stick to their routine as closely as possible—meals, walks, playtime, and naps. They get their own cozy space to relax, but also lots of love, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Over: Al sinds jongs af aan pas ik op honden van familie en vrienden. Ik hou heel erg van dieren, voornamelijk honden en geniet heel erg van hun persoonlijkheidjes. Ik heb een energieke labradoodle die ik zelf opgevoed heb. Ik snap snel wat een hond nodig heeft in de communicatie; soms is dat investeren, spelen en soms is dat rust en vertrouwen opbouwen en dat een hond vowlt dat ik niks van hem haar verwacht. Ik kan goed grenzen stellen, maar voor de meest dominante honden ben ik wellicht iets zacht. Daarom denk ik dat ik het meeste klik met honden die ook zachtheid nodig hebben. Momenteel studeer ik elke dag thuis. Ik ben dus flexibel en heb tijd voor spelen, knuffelen en wandelingen, zowel vaker korte of een lange uitgebreide. We wonen aan een park en een paar minuten lopen van het bos. Ik woon 1-hoog, en heb een terras waar jouw (en mijn) hond kan rondsnuffelen en bewegen. Mijn hond is heel speels, maar laat andere honden vaak ook gewoon hun gang gaan. Hij is gewend dat er honden over de vloer komen.

Over: I (Isabella) sometimes look after my mum's dog (a naughty Irish terrier) or my dad's dog (a rambunctious Airedale terrier) when they are away, and I'd love to do so for more dogs! My partner also has previous experience with dogs, having grown up with them. We both regularly take in Momo, a friends' cat, in our home when his parents come to visit, and we love to have him over! I am a researcher working from home with a flexible schedule, so I often take breaks throughout the day to go for a stroll in the neighbourhood. My partner works from home 3 days a week. This means we have quite an open and flexible schedule to take in pets! We also like to go for a long hike on Sundays. We live in a flat with an upstairs section, and a small terrace in the city centre of Utrecht. When our friend's cat comes to stay over, we put some of the houseplants away for safety. In any case, we do not open any windows or doors unless we are able to keep an active eye on the pet. We can discuss any accommodation needed (medication, length of walk, hazards, etc) with you when you contact us!

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners I met in the city and at nearby nature spots. A few years later and I am completing my Master's degree at Utrecht University, whilst working as a dog walker for an Utrecht-based hondenuitlaatservice. I have my own studio with elevator accessibility. Only two minutes walk from my studio is lots of nature and forests, as well as a large area specifically for dogs to walk both on and off the lead.

Soy muy muy cariñosa con las mascotas y me encanta caminar, y si es con compañía canina mejor Actualmente estoy estudiando en casa por lo que mantengo mucho tiempo disponible para cuidar de su mascota y dar paseos dependiendo de su necesidad y gusto. En mi casa no mantengo un jardín, pero si hay espacio para jugar y descansar. Afuera si ha mucho espacio verde donde podemos caminar y jugar con seguridad. Over: I am obsessed with dogs particularly rescues. I rescued my tripaw Odin 14 years ago from a river in Spain. I travelled the world with him (25+ countries) and trained him to be the best companion. He sadly passed in November 2025. I rescued Nuri two years ago and she is the happiest bundle of joy. She is just full of love and happiness. We look forward to welcome your lovely furr babies into our amazing home. I am self employed with my own companies. I work from home and I train every day but i own my schedule. The dogs are always with me, or if they are left at home it's only for a few hours where they can relax on the ultra comfy sofas. I have a very big fenced garden and huge comfy sofas. I live out of the city but easily accessible. I have two dogs in the house. One senior and one young.

Over: I have had 4 dogs in my life. My first dog was a black lab and sadly he died of cancer, but that also means I have experience with dogs with special needs :( I also took care of my 2 dogs (golden retriever and brown lab). I would walk them 3 times a day, play with them and kind of prepare special activities like lick mats etc. I do really care for their well being, especially mental stimulation which is just as important as walks! I m currently waiting for a new internship to start in July so I am basically free throughout the day and all week! I can pet sit, or they can come to me, I can come early in the morning or during random times in the afternoon! Whatever suits the pet owner :) I share a 2 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend who is mostly at work during the day, so there is quite some space. There is an elevator for easy accessibility for the pets (stairs are not great for dogs hips!). With regards to cats, I have a balcony but it can stay closed to ensure their safety, and don't have much clutter that they can break or can harm them. For dogs I like to walk them about 3 times per day and also play some enriching activities at home. I also ensure there's nothing within reach for them to eat or get hurt. For cats the same thing with regards to harm, but I also love playing with cats!

Over: I’ve had dogs my entire life, a total of 4, who are no longer with me 🥲. They are my passion and represent a unique kind of love in this world. I have adopted several dogs that had been abused and have experience with dogs that are fearful or display aggressive behavior, so that would not be a problem. I will treat them as a member of the family and take them with me wherever I go; that is my way of loving them: spending as much time as possible with them, since, unfortunately, they are here for less time than we are. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and happy at all times. I ‘m artist , which allows me to be home most of the time and have a flexible schedule. I would love to spend my working hours keeping your dog happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We live in an apartment of about 50 m², but right below our home we have a large garden. I usually take long two-hour walks for exercise, and your dog will always come with me wherever I go.

Over: I've taken care of cats for 11 years, and can care for senior/sick cats too! Having grown up with two cats at home, I am used to feeding, grooming, toilet-training, medication-giving, and other tasks catering cats from babies to elderlies. I have two cats back in my hometown, but in my current place of residence (where your cats will be hosted if you request boarding), there are no pets. So feel free to request boarding even if your pet is shy! I'm currently between jobs, so I am home almost fulltime other than a few hours out a day. Therefore I can pay full attention and love for your cats if necessary. If your pets need vitamins or medications, I am comfortable and experienced with mixing it into their food or feeding them directly. I can tend to all of their needs, so feel free to detail your cat's personalities and preferences!
