Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.
“We couldn’t be happier with Naroa ! She took such wonderful care of our dog, making sure she was loved, safe, and happy. We had a few last-minute requests, and she handled them with ease and complete flexibility, going above and beyond to accommodate us. From regular updates to walks and playtime, she made sure our pup had the best care possible. Highly recommend Naroa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and dependable pet sitter 🙏🏼”

Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.
“Vanesa took care of Mambo and Mambo had an amazing time! Mambo was completely relaxed during his stay with Vanesa, and he was calm and very happy when I picked him up. Vanesa told me how the day went and I noticed, based on what she told me, that she really took good care of Mambo while at home but also during walks. I definitely recommend Vanesa if you're in need of a nice and careful person to take care of your dog.”

“Shanice heeft heel goed gezorgd voor mijn hond! Ze heeft me goed op de hoogte gehouden met berichtjes en foto’s. Mijn hond was moe en tevreden toen ik hem op kwam halen. Hondje en baasje allebei zeeeer blij!”

Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.
“Mathilda puts a lot of thought into her work. She provided a fun and challenging day for our high energy rescue Podenco. She took him out with the bike so he could hit his top speed, which is what he loves to do. He has no experience living with cats but Mathilda has the experience and confidence to let him navigate meeting and playing with her cat. Great day!!”

Over: I’m Simone (26), Amsterdam local studying at the University of Amsterdam. I’m only at uni about five hours a week, so I’m home most of the day. 😊 My partner Sam (26) is from England and is working on his PhD. He works from home most days. This means your pet will almost always have one of us around! Sam grew up with a Labrador and cats, so caring for animals has always been part of his life. 🦮🐈 We live in a cozy (37m²) studio in Amsterdam-East, right next to Park Frankendael. Because of our studio setup, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized companion dogs. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to accept large guardian types, mastiffs, or large bull breeds like Pit Bulls, Staffies, and Rottweilers. There is plenty of green space nearby for walks (Ring Dijk, Weesperzijde) 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. If allowed, we love going on longer walks, including trips to the Amsterdam Forest or past nearby cafés. Of course, we always follow your rules and only take pets to places where they are comfortable. If you're looking for someone kind, responsible, and genuinely happy to hang out with your furry friend, I’d love to meet you! I can also send you picture updates!! 💓📸 P.S. I (Simone) also speak Dutch. 🇳🇱 I am a student at the University of Amsterdam, and my partner is completing his PhD, which means our home is almost never empty! Because we are both primarily home based, your pet will benefit from a very consistent routine with frequent potty breaks, interactive playtime, and a quiet, calm environment perfect for naps. :) Between our schedules, there is nearly always someone here to provide company and supervision. On the rare occasion that we are both out for lectures or research, it is never for more than 5 hours. We are more than happy to adjust our daily flow to match your pet's needs! Our apartment is kept tidy and pet proofed for safety. Although we live on the 4th floor, our building has an elevator, making it easily accessible for dogs of all ages and mobility levels! :) Downstairs, there is a ramp in addition to the stairs (which is much better for the short-legged paws) We are located right next to Park Frankendael, which offers wonderful, green routes for our daily walks. We follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, and sleep habits to ensure your dog’s routine stays consistent. As we love taking pictures you will also get consistent photo updates so you can see exactly how your pup is settling in!
Over: I’ve volunteered at a local animal rescue and worked as a pet sitter, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, litter cleaning, and giving medication when needed. Whether it’s a shy cat, an energetic dog, or a senior pet needing special attention, I always make sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. My goal is to make every pet as happy and comfortable as if they were at home. I moved to the Netherlands less than a year ago and am currently taking time to explore life and do what I truly love — caring for animals. Since I’m not working full-time, my schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, care, and companionship they need throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my 9-year-old cat, who is calm and friendly with both cats and dogs. My home is safe, clean, and cozy — perfect for pets to relax and feel at ease. I always make sure windows and doors are secure, and that the space is free from anything that could harm curious paws. When I care for pets at my clients’ homes, I follow their routines carefully and keep everything as familiar as possible. I also send regular photo and video updates so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and safe.

Over: I have been taking care of dogs in the Netherlands for the past year. My father is a vet so growing up I was always around dogs. I will be the only carer. I live in a family with 2 daughters who adore dogs. They are 8 and 9. Our grandpa is a veterinary so I always grew up around dogs. I will be the caregiver by myself. I have a nice fenced garden and live in a very large house, near a green area. Very pet friendly neighbourhood. I love going for long walks in the bos.

Over: Hi, my name is Ella. I’m 21 years old, originally from Denmark, grew up in Dubai, and currently a university student in Amsterdam. I’m a reliable and dedicated pet sitter with a genuine love for animals. I grew up in a home where we always had two dogs at a time—four in total—which means being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving abroad, I truly miss having dogs around, so pet sitting is something I value not just as a responsibility, but as something I genuinely enjoy. I provide attentive, calm, and consistent care tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Walks are adapted to your dog’s energy level, whether that means a longer, active walk or a more relaxed pace. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, while also respecting their routine and personal space. I’m detail-oriented and always follow feeding schedules, routines, and any specific instructions closely to ensure continuity and peace of mind for you as an owner. I also keep you updated with messages and photos during bookings, so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m comfortable with a range of personalities and always approach animals with patience, respect, and care. I stay calm and attentive in all situations and prioritize your pet’s safety and wellbeing at all times. For safety and wellbeing, I do prefer vaccinated pets. I’d love to take great care of your furry friend! 🐾 I’m currently a university student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m available every day, with some flexibility depending on my classes. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a calm environment with easy access to a nearby open park, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and exercise. Since I don’t have pets of my own here, your dog will receive my full attention in a quiet and low-stress setting. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific needs your pet may have. I’m attentive during walks and ensure dogs are kept safely on leash unless otherwise agreed. My goal is to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where your pet feels relaxed and well cared for.

Over: I love dogs more than humans, which is honestly why you want me watching yours. I don't treat this like a job or a chore I just like hanging out with them. On nice days, expect me to walk your dog to the park for well over an hour just to let them run around and explore. You can do your thing without feeling guilty, knowing your dog is getting all my attention. My schedule is pretty flexible and easy to work around. I usually handle walks in the mornings or early afternoons, but let me know what you need and we can make it work. I’m always happy to do a quick meet and greet with you and your dog before any official bookings just to make sure we’re all a great fit for each other. I also prefer to focus on one dog at a time, though I can take multiples upon request if they're from the same household.
Over: I've been studying in the Netherlands for two years now, and during this time, I've had the joy of petsitting over 30 dogs and cats. I'm originally from China, where I had a Papillon named Sanbao and an American Shorthair tabby named Bawan, who's now seven years old. After moving to the Netherlands, I missed them so much that I decided to start petsitting—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Over the past two years, I've welcomed all kinds of dogs into my home, and through housesitting, I’ve also stayed at many lovely homes across Amsterdam. Each pet I've cared for holds a special place in my heart: from the giant poodle Floppy, to the sweet Shih Tzu Coco, the spirited Shiba Inu Ukemochi, and the mixed-breed duo Teto & Jaap... Every experience has been unique and meaningful. I'm patient, responsible, and familiar with commands in several languages. I love cuddles, I'm warm and enthusiastic, and I always spend quality time playing with the pets I look after. I don't think I'm helping them, they also help me with having a good time during my study here, and grow into a more responsible adult! I'm a student in college with only a few classes each week, and my schedule is quite flexible. If a dog needs walking, I usually come home right after a two-hour lecture. This means I have plenty of time to spend playing and bonding with pets. With summer coming up, I’ll have even more free time! I’m flexible on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m always happy to discuss and adjust to what works best for you. I live alone in a spacious 35m² studio. While I don't have a backyard, my neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful, right next to the canal—a lovely area where many people walk their dogs. I always encourage a meet & greet before a booking, so we can make sure everything feels right for both you and your pet!
