He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. Because of our studio setup, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized companion dogs. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to accept large guardian types, mastiffs, or large bull breeds like Pit Bulls, Staffies, and Rottweilers. There is plenty of green space nearby for walks (Ring Dijk, Weesperzijde) 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. Door mijn eigen ervaringen heb ik geleerd hoeveel rust, vertrouwen en geluk dieren kunnen brengen. Ik bied honden en katten een warm en liefdevol thuis in mijn fijne huis, omringd door natuur. Met rust, aandacht en fijne wandelingen midden in de natuur, langs bossen, vijvers en de duinen. In mijn grote afgesloten tuin en speciaal ingerichte kamer kunnen zij veilig ontspannen, spelen en genieten van alle aandacht die zij nodig hebben. Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren zich veilig, rustig en vertrouwd voelen. Daarom kijk ik goed naar hun behoeften en geef ik ieder dier persoonlijke aandacht. De aanwezigheid van honden mis ik enorm en daarom geef ik honden en katten met veel liefde, geduld en aandacht een warm thuis. Missschien tot snel! 😊 Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis, waardoor de verzorging van huisdieren perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine past. Mijn dagen kan ik flexibel indelen zodat er voldoende tijd is voor uitlaten, spelen, rustmomenten en persoonlijke aandacht. Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

“Amanda and her partner Marinna are fantastic. They took such great care of Charlie while we were away for 5 nights. They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine. Back home, I grew up surrounded by dogs, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals. My own dog is currently living happily with my mom in Italy, and while I know she’s in the best hands, I do miss her company every day. Pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to share my love and care with other furry friends while also filling that little space in my heart. I work full time but every day from home. I enjoy taking regular breaks and get out and about for walks as soon as I can. I live with my partner. He also loves dogs and we have both done quite some dog sitting in the past. We both work from home so we can both take care of your furry friend and are flexible. We live in an apartment with 2 balconies but live close to Erasmus park and Westerpark in Amsterdam.
