Over: Ik neem de tijd om het gedrag en voorkeuren van jouw huisdier te leren kennen en stem de wandelingen en oppasmomenten daarop af. Ik zorg voor genoeg aandacht, speeltijd en knuffels, maar ook voor rust wanneer dat nodig is. Uiteraard let ik goed op voeding, water en eventuele speciale verzorging die belangrijk is voor jouw huisdier. Jouw viervoeter krijgt bij mij de zorg en liefde alsof het mijn eigen huisdier is.

Over: Ik word blij van honden. Sterker nog: als een hond me aankijkt met die trouwe ogen, ben ik meestal direct verkocht. Katten hebben weer een heel ander effect op me: die maken me rustig en ontspannen. Daarom lijkt het me geweldig om tijdelijk voor jouw hond of kat te zorgen.
Sinds kort woon ik in Amersfoort, in het Leusderkwartier, aan het Juliana van Stolbergpark. Ik heb zelf ruim 15 jaar twee tot drie katten gehad en ben opgegroeid met honden. Door een drukke baan heb ik nooit een eigen hond gekozen; ik vond het zielig om haar zo lang alleen te laten. Inmiddels werk ik nog maar een paar dagen per week - veelal vanuit huis - (ik ben 59 jaar) en heb ik eindelijk meer tijd om te genieten van wandelen, natuur en dieren.
Je vindt me regelmatig in Klein Zwitserland of Landgoed Den Treek. Hoe gezellig is het om die wandelingen samen met een hond te maken? In Spanje, waar ik een deel van het jaar verblijf, laat ik als vrijwilliger af en toe honden uit voor een dierenopvang in de omgeving van Marbella. 
Omdat ik graag reis en in de winter vaak in Spanje ben, zoek ik geen eigen huisdier meer. Juist daarom vind ik het leuk om af en toe voor jouw hond of kat te zorgen. In mijn huis past een kleine of middelgrote hond. Ik ben flexibel beschikbaar voor wandelingen, huisbezoeken of opvang tijdens een weekendje weg of korte vakantie. Het liefst 1 dag tot max 7 a 10 dagen. Last minute plannen? Daar ben ik eigenlijk best goed in – een beetje op z’n Spaans. 😉 Belangrijk:

 Bij huisoppas of logeren vind ik het prettig om vooraf kennis te maken, om te kijken of er een klik is en of er aan beide kanten een vertrouwd gevoel is. Bij huisbezoeken kan ik naast de zorg voor je huisdier ook de post en planten ed. verzorgen. Ik neem maximaal 1 huisdier per dag aan, zodat ik daar alle aandacht aan kan geven. Belangrijk bij het logeren van je kat: je kat moet gewend zijn om binnen te kunnen zijn (ik heb een kleine afgesloten binnentuin en een wat grotere open tuin aan het park). We bespreken samen wat je hond of kat gewend is. Ik ben zelf zelfstandig ondernemer en werk parttime meestal online vanuit huis. Vroeger had ik een te drukke baan om dit te combineren met een eigen hond; ik vond het zielig om haar zo lang alleen te laten. Inmiddels werk ik nog maar een paar dagen per week - veelal vanuit huis - (ik ben 59 jaar) en heb ik eindelijk meer tijd om te genieten van wandelen, natuur en dieren. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler en een Maltezer. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor hondjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Ik woon op 40 m² met een tuin. Voor hele grote honden is mijn woning daardoor waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾 Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis en ben daardoor veel aanwezig. Huisdieren zijn dus zelden lang alleen. Mijn planning is flexibel en ik ben over het algemeen veel thuis, waardoor er genoeg tijd is voor wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten en verzorging. Overdag stuur ik ook graag af en toe een update of foto, zodat je weet hoe het met je dier gaat. Ik woon op de begane grond aan een rustige, autovrije straat en heb tevens een volledig omheind tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen. Ik heb zelf geen honden of katten, waardoor jouw dier alle aandacht krijgt. Daarnaast is er veel groen in de buurt en zijn er verschillende parken op loopafstand.

He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. Over: I love dogs more than humans, which is honestly why you want me watching yours. I don't treat this like a job or a chore I just like hanging out with them. On nice days, expect me to walk your dog to the park for well over an hour just to let them run around and explore. You can do your thing without feeling guilty, knowing your dog is getting all my attention. My schedule is pretty flexible and easy to work around. I usually handle walks in the mornings or early afternoons, but let me know what you need and we can make it work. Alleen is dit wegens co ouderschap in Amsterdam en Het Gooi niet mogelijk om zelf een hond te nemen, om toch met honden te kunnen zijn lijkt mij Rover de ideale oplossing. Januari vorig jaar mocht ik mijn eerste hondje verwelkomen, een Australian Shepherd mo genaamd Maeve. Met Maeve ben ik actief in een groot aantal sporten. Zo zijn wij bezig met agility, detectie, canicross, schapen drijven, trick training, Rally-O en obedience. Ook zijn wij regelmatig op show te vinden. Daarnaast heb ik ook de nodige kennis van lichaamstaal. Ik doe niets liever dan op pad zijn met mijn hond. Heerlijke boswandelingen of een korte trainingssessie, zolang er plezier is geniet ik ervan. Vanuit huis uit heb ik al meerdere jaren ervaring met verschillende dieren, waaronder katten, honden, paarden en knaagdieren (en sommige vogel soorten). Ook heb ik twee jaar in een dierenspeciaalzaak gewerkt waardoor ik een breed scala aan kennis heb. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.
