“Since I’ve been friends with Micaela, dogs have always been part of her personality and lifestyle. Micaela and her family have rescued and fostered many dogs and showered them with love, protection and brought fun and confidence back into their lives. Micaela’s new best boy Buster who her and her fiancé rescued a few years ago is the most caring boy and he loves them dearly. He has probably seen more corners of the world than I have! Micaela does not only ADORE dogs but all animals and is a big believer in animals being treated with the respect and being raised in the environment they were intended to. I recently got my own little girl Judy and she has been a handful at times I will always turn to Micaela for advice on how to train and understand my mischievous little girl. She has minded Judy on many occasions when we have been in holidays, and as hard as it is to leave your dog I never had any doubts that she is in the best hands. She would always send videos and pictures to keep our minds at ease, take her for her regular walks and give her a few extra treats for being a good girl even when she’s not so good! Micaela would make the best dog sitter and she will be guaranteed a 5 star review from every dog she minds. I believe that Hooch, Poppy, Alfie,Marco and Jessie (to name a few) have had the best lives a dog could dream of having.”

Over: I wore my parents down at 13 and they caved and got me a dog (in my profile pic). I loved and cared for her for 16 years! Since she's passed, I've moved on to caring for other people's pets. They will be cared for with lots of love, attention and treats. I'm currently looking for a full-time job so most of my attention can be spent with your pup! I'm widely available, especially for those who need a last min sitter. We have a spacious flat that can accommodate big dogs or dogs that require a crate. There are not other pets in our home so you can be sure that they have our full attention.

Over: I have been around animals my whole life, in the countryside and in an urban environment, plenty of free time and flexibility to help you with your pets tailored needs. Working remotely 5 days a week, plenty of time to give your pet the full attention it needs. Located very central, can easily pop round to check in on pets etc. Very flexible loving environment, based very central, my fiancé and I both love pets, specifically dogs, and both work from home all week! Over: My family and I have had a hunting dog since I was 5 years old. I went to dog school with him, agility training and took him literally wherever I went with me. Unfortunately, as I am now studying abroad and am no longer in Berlin (my hometown), I miss him very much and would love to look after another dog in my free time. Since I mainly just study, I have a lot of time around it and would love to take care of a dog and walk/spend time with him/her. Over: I’m Leyla, I study in Amsterdam, and live in Amsterdam-East. I’m 20 years old. I’ve lived with and taken care of my husky for 15 years, and my border collie for 3 years. It’s been some time since I’ve had the chance to be with dogs, as I have moved from my family home, where the dogs live. Therefore this is a nice opportunity for me to have along my studies. I have free time from my classes at the university on Mondays and on Thursdays, I also have Sunday free. I will be available short-notice as well, more so on Sundays. Whatever is needed will not be difficult for me to adjust to, in terms of the specific care for the dog. I would be happy with taking them out for walks, with playing in open fields, and also with other requests from the owner.

Over: I grew up with dogs, first it was a border collie. Then, 1 German shepherd to 2 of them until they became 8 with the first litter! Then a second litter ! I spent my teen age years until I was 19 with my gorgeous Rufus, a very possessive german shepherd who would wait for me at the door every day after school, perfectly trained like in a movie :) My dream was to become a veterinarian but never did in the end. Later, I rescued a dog from the street who then became my family dog, the sweetest old English shepherd. I finally decided that I could have a dog of my own again and got a cheeky Jack Russell terrier who I walk and cycle every day. Having a dog is hard work and sometimes we have to leave them alone, which is very sad for them as they depend on us. I sometimes find myself in this situation, especially as an expat. So, I thought I could help some other pet owners with the same need for help. I telework so I can help a few days a week when I also walk my dog. We usually go behind Buitenveldert where the football pitches are so they can play, run and smell. If at home, I accept a calm dog who can play with my dog and rest in the balcony or inside on their pillow. I will make sure that they have enough food and fresh water and keep each other company. We will go for a walk first in the morning, around lunch time and later around 5 and 8.

Over: Patience is one of my qualities and you can be sure that your pet will be in good hands. It will also be a great experience for me to get to know the city better and take care of your pet with a lot of love. I am also very committed, organized and proactive! I am very flexible about dates, locations and any last minute services. I am currently accepting to take care of your pets in your home. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Information about the service I offer:
 Walk with the dog (about 30 minutes to 1 hour walk). About 4/5 times a day
Keeping the same dog routine.
 Playing with the dog or cat. 
Feeding your pet.
Cleaning the litter box.
If necessary, administer the medication. 
At most 2 dogs at a time, so I can devote more quality time to them.
 I will keep you updated with photos and / or videos of your pet.

Over: I am a huge animal lover and have experience with both cats and dogs! At my home in Romania I used to have 2 dogs, but now that I’m living in Amsterdam I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to have my own dog yet.. I would love to give all my love and attention to your dogs while you are away. I work from home almost every day, and my work schedule is flexible. I can easily fit in several walks into my schedule! Also, I live in a quiet area of Amsterdam, with many green places and parks around. So I would be happy to take your little furry friend there. My home is a one-bedroom apartment with a small balcony. So perfect for a small dog, but maybe a bit too crowded for a larger dog.. The neighborhood is however very calm, with a park nearby. So we can go on long walks outside. :)
