I grew up in a home where we always had two dogs at a time, four in total, which means being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving abroad, I truly miss having dogs around, so pet sitting is something I value not just as a responsibility, but as something I genuinely enjoy.

I provide tailored care to your pet’s individual needs. Walks are adapted to your dog’s energy level, whether that means a longer, active walk or a more relaxed pace. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting their routine and personal space.

Over: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!

Over: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 15, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve looked after pets as if they were my own, from feeding and cleaning up after them to giving them lots of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I’m responsible, patient, and comfortable with pets who have their own routines and personalities. I’m also confident staying calm and taking action if an unexpected or emergency situation comes up. Most importantly, I want every pet in my care to feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾❤️ I work one day a week on Monday but my husband is home during that time. All other days I am home except for the occasional appointment during the day. I leave my own dog in a crate so it would be fitting if your dog is crate trained I have a fenced garden that my dog safely plays in. Depending on your needs the dogs are welcome on the bed and the couch. I want them to be as comfortable as possible

Over: Having grown up with cats, they have a special place in my heart ❤️ from playful kittens, to independent adults and into their senior years I've seen it all. I know that each feline comes with their own quirks and habits which I love to tune into as I get to know them. With all that said I'd never turn down some quality time with a dog! Spending time with dogs of friends' and family is always a joy. Having just moved to Amsterdam I am eager to get to know the city, it's parks and local residents! What better way than through the eyes of its furry inhabitants! I am attentive to pets needs, I understand the importance of routine for most pets and would do my upmost to stick to it and follow the owners instructions precisely. Visiting animals at home means I'm coming into their territory, so I would be respectful of their personal space and habits.

Mijn hondenvriendje mag in principe zelfs mee naar kantoor, dus als jouw hond het leuk vindt, kan hij/zij gezellig met mij mee. Logeren – dag & nacht Ook voor een nachtje (of meerdere!) is jouw hond welkom bij mij. Ik zorg ervoor dat hij/zij zich zo comfortabel mogelijk voelt en probeer zoveel mogelijk het normale ritme van thuis aan te houden. 🐕 Mijn beschikbaarheid Ik ben doordeweeks eigenlijk vrijwel altijd beschikbaar en ook in het weekend kan er veel. Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.

Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: Vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden. helaas nu ik op mezelf woon moet ik het hebben van oppas hondjes. omdat ik zelf in een appartement woon. Ik hou ervan om met de hond opstap te gaan en buiten te zijn, maar ook binnenhuis komen hondjes geen aandacht te kort. Momenteel ben ik zelf wat minder gaan werken, dus heb ik alle tijd om door te brengen met een hondje. Ik vind het fijn mocht het hondje het ook leuk vinden om naar het park te gaan. Verder is het ook geen probleem voor mij om veel tussentijdse rondjes met een hondje te lopen. Zelf woon ik in een appartement dus ik zal er iets vaker met het hondje op uit gaan omdat ik geen tuin heb. Wel zal het hondje in staat moeten zijn om twee trappen op te moeten kunnen. Of als het een wat kleiner hondje is kan ik ook tillen.

“Michelle is supervriendelijk en Alfie gaat er met veel plezier heen. Hij is nog jong (pas 4 maanden) en is nog niet zo aan gewend aan weg zijn van het vrouwtje. Maar hij doet het al supergoed en Michelle is gewoon erg goed met honden, dus Alfie gaat volgende week weer! Michelle houdt me gedurende de dag op de hoogte en als ik haar een appje stuur antwoord ze altijd heel snel, soms zelfs met een fotootje! Fijn om zo op de hoogte gehouden te worden!”
