“Cristina took excellent care of our cat while we were away. Throughout the stay we received photos and videos twice a day with an update. There was plenty of fun and cuddles keeping our cat entertained and calm, and - what's most important - she came back to us relaxed, happy, and clearly very well looked after. Super carer!”

“Pepa heeft het heel fijn gehad! Marlies en haar dochter hebben veel ervaring met honden en hebben echt de tijd genomen om met haar te spelen en te wandelen. Ze kwam super relaxt terug! Ik raad Marlies zeker aan ☺️??”

“Olivia and Caleb exceeded expectations! They were kind. They were responsible. They sent pictures and updates of our pooch daily! Bodhi was with them for about 10 days and we are so grateful to them. Bodhi loved them. We highly and hugely recommend them to anyone that needs peace of mind when leaving their beloved pet with someone. They did an absolutely terrific job taking care of Bodhi. They are wonderful people and they will love your animals!”

“We had a great experience with Carolina! Our dog stayed with her 10 nights and was very well taken care of. Carolina was attentive, responsive and we would definitely recommend her pet sitting services. Thanks for taking such great care of our fur baby, Caro!”

Over: I moved here recently here with my partner and I am taking a break from nursing to pursue other things! I love dogs which is why I have my own dog named Andie, who I am home with most days. We welcome dogs into our home, and your dog can have a little playdate! I have experience with separation anxiety, and I will honor whatever care plan that you may have in place. I can administer medications and make sure your dog feels welcome and secure. I will provide as many updates you like on your pup because I know what it’s like to feel anxious about not being around them. My home is open to your fur baby! I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. I’ll initially watch them closely to assess how they interact in their home. I do this for my own understanding so I can best read their needs.

Over: With years of experience caring for pets, I provide personalized and attentive services to meet each pet's unique needs (dogs, cats, rabbits). Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, or training, I ensure every pet feels loved, secure, and happy. Your furry friend will be in great hands! I live right by the Amstel River, so it's perfect for walks with your pet. I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to take care of your animal and go on walks during the week and weekends. I’m pretty active myself, so your pet will get lots of love and exercise! With me, pets are treated like part of the family. They have access to cozy spaces and outdoor play areas, and plenty of attention and affection. I also follow any specific care instructions provided by the owners to ensure their pets feel comfortable and well-cared.

“Anna was such a lovely person and treated our cat Scourge with love, care and respect. We received updates, photos and videos regularly. Overall, she made sure that not only we had a nice vacation, but our cat as well! :)”

“My dog has spent a wonderful time with Megha. I appreciate her flexibility and attention to detail. Megha quickly established a connection with my dog and even learned commands in the Ukrainian language. Thanks!”

“I couldn't have asked for a better dogsitter! Paula and Josip were incredibly caring, patient, and had such a calm, reassuring energy that made both me and my dog feel at ease. It's obvious they genuinely love dogs and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. They kept me updated, took wonderful care of cloud, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone kind, experienced and reliable.”
“Ana and her partner were amazing sitters for my baby girl! I got photos and videos twice a day just like I asked, and they took Emma on long play sessions, walks, and even a visit to the tulip fields. She looked so happy in every video. I’d definitely recommend them and will be booking again. Thanks so much, Ana!”

“Maria looked after my dog Nelson for the second time for 2 weeks. I really appreciated the daily updates with pictures and details about his day. Nelson can be a bit difficult with people he doesn’t know very well, but Maria and her boyfriend were very patient and eventually he felt comfortable with them. I would highly recommend her services!”

“I highly recommend Azize as a dog sitter; she took amazing care of Dora and treated her like family! Throughout the entire stay, Azize kept me fully updated with regular messages and lovely updates. I could see that Dora felt incredibly comfortable, perfectly fed, and deeply loved with her. Azize organized great walks and fun playtime, which perfectly helped Dora forget that she was away from home. Dora came back happy, well-rested, and wonderfully showered with affection – we will definitely choose Azize again!”

Over: I’ve had a dog since I was 10, so I grew up learning how to train and care for one properly, not just from a course. Here in Amsterdam I look after dogs regularly and can put you in touch with past clients for a reference. I want to make sure your dog feels at home as possible with me! I’m a student and work part-time, so I have real flexibility during the week, not just evenings and weekends. That means I can adjust to your dog’s routine rather than squeezing care in around a rigid schedule, whether that’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or just more one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated so you can see exactly when I’m free to book! I’ve spent years learning to read what dogs need, when they want more attention and when they’d rather be left to settle. My home is dog-proofed, with nothing lying around they could get into or accidentally swallow. I live right next to several parks, so there’s always somewhere close for walks and playtime without needing a car. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the stay so you always know how your dog is doing.

Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

“Emma is an amazing cat sitter! She did two drop in visits for Syd and sent photos regularly. We were experiencing a heat wave while she was visiting and made sure curtains were closed , water was full and Syd didn’t spend too much time outside. He really warmed up to her. Emma also left the place really clean and helped take care of my plants which looked great upon our return. She’s a really kind person and I will book her again !”

“Absolutely wonderful experience. Irene and her daughters took such great care of my pet and treated them with so much love and attention. Super kind, reliable, and clearly true animal lovers. I felt completely at ease the whole time. Couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter — highly recommended!”

“Martina is lovely and she took great care of my 2 bunnies. Communication went well, meeting her was lovely and during my vacation she took care of everything. Even watered my plants. She sent me photos and frequent updates. I'd definitely recommend her. Thank you again, Martina! ”

“Begüm is a very loving catsitter. Our cats Bibi & Sky were very relaxed and well taken care of when we arrived home. Begüm does not only have an eye for playtime, but she also makes sure the living environment is clean. I think we found our go to catsitter 🐈🐈⬛♥️🥰.”

“Elena has been fantastic. She truly went above and beyond in providing great care to my home and my cat Moozze during my absence. Elena has been great to communicate with, super reliable, caring and really went the extra mile in making sure Moozze was a happy camper and received all the love and attention he could sesire. I can absolutely recommend her on and will book her again!”

“Xiaobing is a lovely and kind sitter! Our cat had a great time with her. She kept us up to date during her visit, and replies fast to messages. The house was perfectly clean when we got back. We would definitely recommend her!”

Over: I also have experience caring for cats with different personalities, from very social to more independent or shy. I understand how important it is to respect their space while still providing attention, play, and care on their terms. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box cleaning, administering basic medications if needed, and making sure your cat feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I take a calm and gentle approach, which works especially well for more sensitive cats.

“Oscar took great care of our cats while we were away. They really enjoyed having him around and were very happy and relaxed when we got back! We will definitely be booking Oscar again :)”

“Yue was a great cat and house sitter! Very kind and very communicative, sent plenty of pictures and our cat definitely had a great time. When we go away for longer periods he is sometimes stressed out when we come home (excessive meowing, aggression) but this time it was so smooth! Would definitely recommend her.”

Over: Hi, I’m Jennifer! As a devoted cat parent, my bond with cats is built on a lifetime of rescue and absolute commitment. Back in Taipei, I grew up surrounded by rescued animals. Later, I took two stray kittens off the street and gave them a forever home. When I moved to Amsterdam, I brought them with me across the globe because to me, family never gets left behind. Having cared for cats with diverse personalities, I’m completely comfortable with independent explorers, seniors, cats needing daily medication, or shy ones who spend the first day hiding under the sofa. I understand their boundaries and know how to give them space to feel safe. I’m always happy to arrange a free meet-and-greet first, so you and your fur baby can feel completely at ease before booking.

Over: I have experience taking care of cats for my friends for up to 6 weeks! I love taking good care of them :) I feed them food and water on time, brush them and clean the cat litter on time because I need to make sure they are clean and I know they love it!!

Over: When it comes to cats, my most cherished memories involve volunteering at a pet hospital, where I cared for elderly and abandoned felines. Although I’ve never owned a cat due to my mother’s dander allergy, I’ve always held a deep affection for them. I’m fascinated by how each cat carries an independent spirit, a distinct personality, and its own set of quirky preferences. During my time at the hospital, the absolute highlight of my day was always that quiet, precious window of time spent in their company.
“Öykü is a very friendly sitter, she took care of my cat for a couple of days. It was my first time using a sitter, it worked out great. I could relax during my time away knowing she was there taking care and looking after Pixie ?. Thank you plenty ?⬛!”

“Ale was amazing with our dog, Willow. She took her on several walks, kept me updated throughout the day & even took her to the park. When I picked Willow up, I felt like she was sad to leave Ale, which is the best sign ever. We’ll bring Willow back any time to spend the day with Ale!”

Over: Passionate dog lover ready to give your furry best friend care during the day (or even a ultimate home-away-from-home experience)! I live super close to Oosterpark, so your doggo can expect a nice outdoors walk when we are not in my apartment. Your pup will get end-to-end belly rubs, personal attention, and plenty of play. I am at home Monday > Friday. On the weekends, I socialise with friends. I'd love a small dog at home during the week to keep me company. It is just me and my boyfriend at home -- no other pets or babies! We live in an apartment across from Oosterpark, so there is plenty of areas to walk.

“Hallo, gisteren is onze Labrador Cas bij Michelle geweest en wat een leuke vrouw is Michelle, de ervaring en behendigheid straalt van haar af. wij hebben dit (ik en Cas) als zeer fijn ervaren en we gaan dit bijna elke maandag doen op deze manier.”

Over: Hi, I’m Ella! I’m 21 years old, originally from Denmark, grew up in Dubai, and currently a university student in Amsterdam. I’m a reliable and dedicated pet sitter with a genuine love for animals. I grew up in a home where we always had two dogs at a time, four in total, which means being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving abroad, I truly miss having dogs around, so pet sitting is something I value not just as a responsibility, but as something I genuinely enjoy. I provide tailored care to your pet’s individual needs. Walks are adapted to your dog’s energy level, whether that means a longer, active walk or a more relaxed pace. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting their routine and personal space. I always follow feeding schedules, routines, and any specific instructions closely to ensure peace of mind for you as an owner. I also love to keep you updated with messages and lots of photos during bookings, so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for! 🥰 I’m comfortable with a range of personalities and always approach animals with patience, respect, and care. I stay attentive in all situations and prioritize your pet’s safety and wellbeing at all times (I have had an aggressive dog myself, so I know how to handle reactive dogs!) I’d love to take care of your furry family! 🐾 (My two dogs are at home with my family, so my apartment is animal free except for my lovely flatmate who also loves animals)❤️ I’m currently a university student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m available almost every day, and I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a calm environment with easy access to a nearby open park, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and exercise. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific needs your pet may have. I’m attentive during walks and ensure dogs are kept safely on leash unless otherwise agreed. My goal is to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where your pet feels relaxed and well cared for.

Over: I have had 2 dogs growing up, of which one a Swiss white shepherd. I get along with dogs and wish I could have one myself but since I live alone it’s difficult for me to fully commit at this time - for the time being I would love to sit! I work from home most days, and am therefore free to take walk breaks. Besides my 9-5, I don’t have other big commitments. I live in a spacious enough studio, but I have enough space outside to go for walks. Also a park relatively close if you we feel comfortable going there.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m super happy with Shamira! She took such wonderful and loving care of my two dogs, Gini and Specki, during their daycare stay. 🐶❤️ You can immediately tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very caring and reliable. I especially appreciated that Shamira kept me updated throughout the day and regularly sent me little updates. It was so reassuring to know that Gini and Specki were doing well, and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. 😊 They both clearly felt very happy and comfortable with her. Thank you so much for taking such great care of them! We’ll definitely be back and I can absolutely recommend Shamira to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. 🐾❤️”

Over: I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for dogs. I owned two pets myself, so I understand the daily attention, patience, and affection they need. I have already provided pet sitting and dog walking services in Paris, taking care of pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or feeding. I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and committed to giving every pet the care they deserve. I occasionally work part-time, self employed, and I have plenty of free time during the day to dedicate to caring for dogs. I’m happy to spend time with them, take them on walks, play with them, and make sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away! I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and would love to give your furry friend lots of attention and care throughout the day 🫶🏼 I can host them in my house, or visit yours if you feel more comfortable.

Over: I'm new to Rover, but dogs have already been part of my routine for a while. My parents look after a friend's dog once a week, and I often join in, walks, feeding, playtime, the whole thing. I know how to help a dog feel settled and comfortable even outside their usual home, and I bring that same patience and attention to every dog I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and keep you posted throughout, and while I'm new to the platform, I'm not new to dogs, I'd love the chance to prove that to you and your pup :) I work from home most days, so I'm around and available almost all the time, the only regular exception is Thursdays, when I'm out. I'm also quite active, which works out well: dogs get a proper walk, and if it's a cat keeping me company at my desk instead, that's just as good a day for me. I live in a small studio (36m²), but the area right outside is genuinely great for dogs, plenty of green space nearby. Happy to share more about the neighborhood once we're in touch. For cats, the studio itself is calm and quiet, which makes it an easy space to settle into.

Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.

Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: Two Dalmatians, a chihuahua, a Pomeranian and three mutts were my siblings growing up. I took care of them through every vet visit, may it be grooming days, sick days, or the few times they’ve given birth to puppies! I currently work part time so I am mostly at home and can do check-ins or walks, this is updated on my Rover calendar. I stay alert on walks and during home-sitting with pets. Care instructions for your little one will be carefully followed and depending on your preference, I can send updates throughout the sitting.

Over: I’ve had dogs all my life, from small to big dog, and naturally that came with a lot of puppy training, also had multiple dogs at once so multitasking and duo-boy walking is no problem. Overall I love pets and connect with them quite easily Im a student and work part time during weekends, so that leave most of my week free as I go to 1-3 lectures of 2h during the week. Now during summer I’m much more free, and my work schedule is quite flexible I live next to a park and walk most of the time to vondel park, my apartment is quite spacious for any size of dog and I have a little Terrance

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

“Pablo is great! It was a last minute request and we are grateful that Pablo could accommodate it. As soon as Milo met him, he got completely comfortable with Pablo. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely have him for walks again!”

Over: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 8 years and absolutely love being around animals. I’m a caring, very patient and responsible person who makes sure every pet feels safe comfortable and loved. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime and giving your pet plenty of attention. I do understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and i will always treat them with the same care i would give my own pet. I also do speak dutch!! I currently have a part-time job, but I have a flexible schedule and can fit pet care around my work. I enjoy spending time with dogs, going for walks and making sure they get the attention and care they need. I’m happy to work around each pet’s individual routine and needs. I have a secure, enclosed garden where pets can safely spend time outside. I also have a friendly dog of my own, Beertje, who is 8 years old. I always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and welcome in my home. I follow the owner’s instructions and take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine and needs.

Over: I am a 26-year-old Dutch guy with a great passion for dogs. Dogs have played an important role in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and have had four in total, two of which still live with my parents. Because of this, I have gained a lot of experience with different personalities, including more challenging and high-energy dogs. As a result, I know how to interact with dogs in a calm, clear, and confident way. I am also very good at reading canine communication, such as body language, posture, and behavior, which allows me to prevent escalation and step in when necessary. At the moment, I am exploring what I want to do in the future, and it is clear to me that it will involve dogs in some way, such as training or guidance. In the meantime, I have the time and flexibility to spend a lot of time with dogs, and there is honestly nothing I enjoy more. Being a dog sitter is therefore the perfect way for me to do something I genuinely love while also gaining even more experience and getting to know different dogs. To me, dogs are much more than just pets. I truly enjoy spending time with them and giving them the attention they deserve. I personally love going on walks, so taking a dog along is not only enjoyable company for me, but also a great balance where both the dog and I benefit from spending time outdoors. I find it very important that a dog feels safe, calm, and comfortable, which is why I always pay close attention to the individual character and needs of each dog. I actually enjoy working with more challenging or highly sensitive dogs as well. I stay calm, provide clear structure, and take the time to build trust so the dog knows what to expect. During walks, I pay close attention to the surroundings, safety, and the dog’s own signals. Owners can expect me to be responsible, reliable, and genuinely involved, and to treat their dog with patience, attention, and care. Clear communication is also very important to me, so owners always know how things are going. I read a dog’s emotional state by paying attention to the eyes, posture, energy level, and how the dog positions itself around other dogs. I also look for signs of confidence, stress, or dominance during interactions, such as the way a dog approaches, avoids, or lies down in social situations. This allows me to adapt my approach so that every dog feels safe and understood. During walks, I enjoy visiting natural environments such as parks or green areas where the dog can relax, explore, and comfortably do its business. I focus on calm, structured walks where the dog receives both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I am confident handling dogs on a leash and can maintain good control in different situations. If a dog is allowed off-leash, I know how to apply reliable recall and how to keep the dog safe and engaged. I am also experienced in walking two dogs at the same time, so that is absolutely no problem for me. For a regular walk, you can expect me to walk with the dog for at least 40 minutes. Something else that may be reassuring for owners to know is that I am currently looking into part-time (16-hour) remote work that can be done fully independently. This means I am not tied to an office or stuck in long meetings, which allows me to dedicate a lot of time and attention to the dog and the house. I am definitely not someone who is busy working all day and only quickly takes the dog out in between tasks — caring for the dog is genuinely my main priority. I may occasionally handle some light administrative work during the day, but aside from that, I am mainly present, flexible, and attentive. Because of this, I can keep a close eye on both the dog and the home, and owners can trust that everything will be calm, safe, and well taken care of. What I am currently in between jobs and taking the time to explore what I want to do long-term. One thing that is very clear to me is that I want my future to involve dogs in some way, whether that becomes dog training, behavioral guidance, or something similar. I am still figuring out exactly how I want to shape that path, but I think it is great that I can already gain valuable hands-on experience by caring for and spending time with different dogs through dog sitting and walking. At the moment, I have a flexible schedule and am mainly available during weekdays from late morning until the end of the afternoon. Unfortunately, Rover does not offer an exact option for this, but in practice I am generally available between 10 AM and 5 PM to look after your dog at home or take your dog out for walks. Since I personally love walking as well, owners can expect me to take dogs on long, enjoyable walks with plenty of attention and care. I am also exploring the possibility of starting a part-time remote job later this summer for around 16 hours per week. The type of work I am looking at would be fully home-based, flexible, and low-pressure, without meetings or appointments that would require me to leave the house. Because of that, I would still have more than enough time, attention, and flexibility to properly care for dogs throughout the day. The dog’s wellbeing, attention, and routine would always remain my main priority while I am looking after them. Weekends can be a bit more difficult for me, although I may still be available depending on the situation, so you are always welcome to send me a message to check availability I currently live in an apartment complex and do not have a private garden, which means fulltime dog boarding at my home can be a bit more limited depending on the dog and the situation. However, if your dog only needs to stay somewhere for a few hours for example, to bridge part of the day rather than staying an entire day or overnight that is absolutely possible at my place. My apartment is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a dog for shorter periods of time. I already do this regularly with one of my parents’ dogs to help them out from time to time, so I am experienced in having dogs stay with me in a calm and comfortable environment. Of course, this is always coordinated properly, which means that if I am caring for your dog, there will not unexpectedly be another dog present unless discussed beforehand. I also genuinely enjoy being outdoors and spending active, quality time with dogs. With my own family dogs, I love doing simple things like playing with a tennis ball or a toy, practicing little tricks, going for walks, relaxing outside together, cuddling, and giving them attention. For me, it is really the small moments and connection with a dog that make it enjoyable, and spending time with dogs genuinely gives me a lot of energy and happiness. One important thing to mention is that Rover sometimes requires me to select fixed availability options that do not fully reflect how flexible I actually am. Because of that, it is possible that I may not always appear in certain search results. In reality, my availability is often much more flexible and depends a bit on the specific day and situation. So please feel free to send me a message, even if my profile settings seem limited I am usually more flexible than the Rover options may suggest.

Over: I have seen and cared for dogs since I was little since my father is a veterinarian. I love spending time with them, bathing them, caring for them, playing with them, and spending time with them. I currently have enough time to walk and play with the dogs. I am very available in case you need my help, do not hesitate to contact me. I also like to observe the games and needs of each dog so I can make them feel comfortable and happy in their environment with me.

Over: I take care of dogs since I was a kid. I’ve 2 dogs in Spain which I love and take care. Also I help my friends to walk their dogs when they are not at home. I work in a retail store, but when I have time I like to go for a walk and if it’s possible with dogs. I like to play with them at the park and go for really good walk and places where are calm and always trying to have some nature. I take care of my dogs being with them and trying just making them feel cozy. Also I follow what the owners tell me for their dogs.

Over: I have been taking care of dogs in the Netherlands for the past year. My father is a vet so growing up I was always around dogs. I will be the only carer. I live in a family with 2 daughters who adore dogs. They are 8 and 9. Our grandpa is a veterinary so I always grew up around dogs. I will be the caregiver by myself. I have a nice fenced garden and live in a very large house, near a green area. Very pet friendly neighbourhood. I love going for long walks in the bos.

Over: Hi all, My name is Kamila and I’m a student in Amsterdam who would love to take care of some dogs. I’m calm and responsible, and in my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and exercising. I grew up with dogs in the house and have always been able to find a common language with them. Whether it’s going on longer walks or scratching an itch, I enjoy spending time with pets. I have some experience with elderly dogs as we had a 12 year old handicapped Boxer in the house. I understand and appreciate that everyone has a preference for how their pets are raised, so if you prefer a more strict approach or relaxed and easygoing, I’m happy to adapt. Hope to hear from you!

Over: Hi, I’m Julia! I’m 27 years old, born and raised on a Swedish farm and now studying a Masters in Communication Science at UvA. I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a balcony (with a serious fence). There is an elevator as well for the seniors! We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: the world does not end from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect that. I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.
Over: Hi! My name is Jorge, and I’ve spent years surrounded by animals who have made my life so much happier. I have Otto, my slightly mischievous orange cat, who has been part of my life for 5 years. 🐱 We rescued him from a small village in Spain where he had been abandoned and had almost lost an eye. With patience, love, and quite a few eye drops and medications (which he didn’t enjoy at all!), he made a full recovery. He now lives happily with my family in Spain. I’ve also cared for Patín, my aunt’s senior cat, who I loved spending quiet time with, especially sitting together in the sun while he purred non-stop. ☀️ In addition, I’ve spent the past 4 years helping care for Junior, my partner’s family dog 🐶. We’ve taken care of his daily needs, including regular walks (up to three times a day), and I’ve also handled situations requiring extra care, such as paw issues, digestive problems, and eye treatments. This has given me hands-on experience with both routine care and more specific needs. Currently, I live in Amsterdam and do not have any pets at home, which means I can fully adapt to your pet’s needs, whether that’s caring for cats or dogs, either in your home or mine. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet as if they were their own. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or boarding, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. ❤️ I’m really looking forward to meeting your furry companion! I’m currently based in Amsterdam and actively looking for a job as a designer, which means I have full availability at the moment and can easily adapt my schedule to your pet’s needs. Once I start working, I’ll still be available on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and during weekday evenings. I live in a very green area near the Amstel River, which is perfect for walks and outdoor time. I enjoy staying active (going for walks, running, or cycling) but I also appreciate quieter moments at home, like watching a movie, cooking, or reading. Because of this balance, I can easily adapt to different pets and personalities, whether they’re energetic and playful or calm and more independent. ☺️ I always adapt my care to each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. In my client’s home, I respect the pet’s usual environment and routine as much as possible, following feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions. I also make sure they get attention, playtime, and companionship so they don’t feel stressed while their owner is away. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment. Since I currently don’t have pets at home, I can fully focus on your pet and adapt the space to their needs. I make sure they get enough exercise, mental stimulation, and rest, depending on their personality. I’m also comfortable providing basic care such as administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, and handling feeding routines. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos, so they feel reassured while they’re away.
Over: Hi! I've taken care of several pets, in high school I used to take care of my neighbours dog, I took care of my other neighbours cats, I have a little birdie at home myself :). I do not have experience with medical applications such as injections, but I am more than happy to company your buddies and take care od their needs! I'm currently studying, this semester is calmer than usual so most of my week is free. So I am quite flexible with scheduling! Although during exam weeks I will be less available than usual. Since I live in a student housing, I cannot bring little buddies home with me :(. However, I love spending time with them anywhere! I can company them at home according to house rules, or we can go on walks or play at parks.
Over: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and would love to take care of your cutie pie☺️I’m comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with your pets! I am a caring, relaxed and easy-going person who genuinely enjoy having animals around. Although I don’t have a pet of my own at this moment, I grew up with pets around. I love spending time with animals and would treat your dog as if they were my own. “In one word: Amazing! Our little dog Nitro had a fantastic stay at Tripti’s during our X-mas holiday abroad. Tripti informed us daily with several video’s and photos so we could see how Nitro was doing. Nitro was cuttled lots and was spoiled with homemade food, lovely walks and snacks. Thank you Tripti for his wonderful stay. You really took away our worries of leaving him behind as Nitro doesn’t like to travel. Like Nitro, we also had a great holiday, thanks to you. Next time we will definitely call you again. You are the best! ❤️”

“Vera and Davide were wonderful with our dog Basyuni. They walked him often, played with him and made sure he was comfortable. It was our first time using a sitter in this way, so very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend booking with Vera.”

“Super happy that I found Anushka. She took really good care of my dog while I was on a work trip. My dog can be quite sensitive to changes and a bit worried when I leave her with new ppl but Anushka was patient with her and gave me updates, sent pictures and told me about how she was settling in. Felt very safe to leave her there. Will def book again when something’s come up.”
