I grew up in a home where we always had two dogs at a time, four in total, which means being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving abroad, I truly miss having dogs around, so pet sitting is something I value not just as a responsibility, but as something I genuinely enjoy.

I live in a calm environment with easy access to a nearby open park, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and exercise. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific needs your pet may have. I’m attentive during walks and ensure dogs are kept safely on leash unless otherwise agreed. My goal is to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where your pet feels relaxed and well cared for.

Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time

Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. So this isn't a new hobby for me, it's something I've genuinely loved my whole life. Good with big (25kg max) and small dogs! I’m working for freelance as an artist. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! I live in a studio appartement with concrete floor that is very easy to clean. I have a balcony that is safe for small dogs as well, and of course enough space for setting up a dog bed in the living room !

Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover who has spent 10 years(and counting!) caring for my lovely black Labrador dog Hera and regularly looking after my friend's & relative's dogs and sometimes cats. I am truly obsessed with all animals but especially dogs and enjoy making them feel safe,loved and happy!
Since I moved to Amsterdam from Cyprus, I really miss having a pet around and pet sitting is my way of staying connected to what I love the most and I pour that longing & affection into the pets that I care for :)

The small balcony is covered by tall long glassess so there is no possibility to fall. Both indoors and outdoor balcony is safe.
Happy to answer any questions you may have and hope to meet your fur baby soon! I am currently not working full time so I have enough time and attention to give. I take the pets I care for a walk minimum 2 times per day and play with them often. In my apartment outdoor balcony is covered by long tall glassess and indoor glassess are also quite well covered so there is no possibility to fall.

Over: I've been caring for friends' and relatives' pets for years while they're away on vacation, often staying in their homes to provide consistent care and companionship. I've also provided boarding for longer stays, including pets who have stayed with me for two to three weeks at a time. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting outside for long walks and making sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Over: I've taken care of my family dog since I was 14, and later I got a beautiful cat named April. In the past years, I regularly sat with my friend's cats and dogs when they traveled, and helped with neighbors' pets too. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. Our apartment has two balconies (one of which gets the sun all day long ☀️☀️☀️) and plenty of comfy space inside for dogs to relax. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Over: (Available in Dutch, German and English) From a young age, I have always enjoyed being with animals. I am someone who finds her peace in nature and with animals. I have had cats my whole life, practiced horse riding, and since 3 year's, thanks to Rover, started taking care of dogs. Over time, I have gained considerable experience with various dog breeds, from puppies and small breeds to larger breeds and seniors. Through this experience with different breeds, I have learned to adapt to the ways and needs of your dog. If a dog enjoys being active and social, I make sure to find a outside area that fulfills these needs. I also have experience with dogs that are not social and need to be walked with stricter control. I’m in my last year of an arts bachelor. I go to school only once a week and for the rest of the week I practice/research/create at home. This means I have lots of open space to look after animals. I have noticed that it's beneficial for the animals to be in their familiar environment where they know everything and feel most comfortable. For those who are comfortable enough to stay at other places than their own house, I love to take care of them at my studio apartment in Amsterdam West. I don’t have a garden but I do have a balcony and enough green in the surrounding area to take them for walks. Important note is that I don’t have a separate bedroom and because of that I am careful on having dogs sleep over. I always like to meet them beforehand & preferably look after them a few times before having them sleepover.
