Over: Hi! I’m Annais, a young Aussie working professional living in Amsterdam. Happy to say I’m a remote worker, which provides me with the flexibility to be there for your furry friend throughout the day! Having grown up with a German short-haired pointer, Stella, and a Rottweiler mix, Sofie, I’ve gained valuable experience in understanding a dog’s behaviour, setting healthy boundaries, and enduring their well-being and happiness. Currently, I’m not in a position to have my own dog, so I’m delighted when I get to look after others. Working remotely lets me weave pet care into my day naturally. Walks, play and cuddles find their rhythm, making it easygoing and enjoyable routine for your dog. There is plenty of space in my home for your dog to roam and explore to their heart’s content! They can also enjoy a beautiful garden next to my house, where we can sunbathe together (if the Amsterdam weather allows).

Over: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 15, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve looked after pets as if they were my own, from feeding and cleaning up after them to giving them lots of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I’m responsible, patient, and comfortable with pets who have their own routines and personalities. I’m also confident staying calm and taking action if an unexpected or emergency situation comes up. Most importantly, I want every pet in my care to feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾❤️ I work one day a week on Monday but my husband is home during that time. All other days I am home except for the occasional appointment during the day. I leave my own dog in a crate so it would be fitting if your dog is crate trained I have a fenced garden that my dog safely plays in. Depending on your needs the dogs are welcome on the bed and the couch. I want them to be as comfortable as possible

Over: Having grown up with cats, they have a special place in my heart ❤️ from playful kittens, to independent adults and into their senior years I've seen it all. I know that each feline comes with their own quirks and habits which I love to tune into as I get to know them. With all that said I'd never turn down some quality time with a dog! Spending time with dogs of friends' and family is always a joy. Having just moved to Amsterdam I am eager to get to know the city, it's parks and local residents! What better way than through the eyes of its furry inhabitants! I am attentive to pets needs, I understand the importance of routine for most pets and would do my upmost to stick to it and follow the owners instructions precisely. Visiting animals at home means I'm coming into their territory, so I would be respectful of their personal space and habits.

Over: Sinds mijn 11e zorg ik al voor honden en dit is alleen maar meer geworden sinds mijn ouders een labradoodle hebben. Deze is inmiddels 8 jaar en blijft geregeld slapen. Daarnaast pas ik ook op honden van vrienden. Dit zie ik echt als een passie omdat ik zelf niet in de gelegenheid ben om een hond fulltime te verzorgen vanwege mijn kantoorwerk. Momenteel heb ik veel tijd omdat mijn nieuwe functie 1 oktober dit jaar start. Ik ben dan ook zeer flexibel in mijn planning en sta ook open voor last minute verzoeken. Ik heb een appartement waar ik zo goed mogelijk voor jouw hond zal zorgen. Ik wil graag een vertrouwde omgeving creëren en snap dat dit per hond en karakter verschilt.

Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time

Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.

Over: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!
