Over: Ik ben een grote dierenvriend en al jarenlang dé betrouwbare dierenoppas voor vrienden en familie. ik pas me makkelijk aan, afhankelijk van de wensen van uw hond/ kat. Is het een oudje? Dan kan ik lekker kroelen op de bank. Is de hond nog speels? Dan vind ik het heerlijk om een lange wandeling te maken en een balletje te gooien. Omdat ik ook graag reis en nog niet weet wat mijn plannen voor de komende jaren zijn, vind ik het niet verstandig om zelf een huisdier te nemen. Vandaar dat oppassen voor mij nu de beste optie is. Ik werk op het moment part time en donderdag is mijn vaste vrije dag. Dit zou de ideale dag zijn om op te passen. Het weekend is ook mogelijk, mits ik het op tijd weet en nog geen andere plannen heb. Ik woon zelf in een appartement met een balkon op de 3e verdieping. Er is geen lift en hiervoor moet je 6 trappen op. Voor de rest zou ik tijdens een oppasdag ervoor zorgen dat ik de hele dag beschikbaar ben en zoveel mogelijk tijd kan doorbrengen met de hond/ kat.

Over: Ik heb 14 jaar een eigen hond gehad en daardoor veel ervaring opgedaan met dagelijkse verzorging, wandelen en het aanvoelen van honden. Daarnaast heb ik regelmatig met veel plezier op honden van anderen gepast. Ik ben rustig, betrouwbaar en geef graag persoonlijke aandacht. Daarom kies ik er ook bewust voor om met één hond tegelijk te wandelen, zodat jouw hond alle rust en aandacht krijgt. Ik ben redelijk flexibel en probeer mij zoveel mogelijk aan te passen aan de vraag van een baasje. Als ik het van tevoren weet, is er vaak veel mogelijk om tijd vrij te maken voor een wandeling. Ik ben vooral beschikbaar in de avonden, weekenden en overdag. Ik bied vooral wandelingen aan en verzorging bij het baasje thuis, zodat de hond in zijn of haar vertrouwde omgeving kan blijven. Ik vind rust, veiligheid en persoonlijke aandacht belangrijk en zorg natuurlijk voor voldoende beweging en aandacht tijdens de wandelingen. In overleg is opvang bij mij thuis eventueel ook mogelijk wanneer dat echt nodig is. Ik laat een hond niet zomaar alleen en kijk goed naar wat het dier nodig heeft.

I’ll provide them with a fun time and some snacks (for food I’d like you to provide it so that there are no complications!) I am available for every service in Leiden + @ Den Haag Moerwijk I can take your dogs on a walk or take care of your little friends @ your place. I am currenty doing a remote internship and I’m looking for a job do basically… I am unemployed and home all day :’) That is why I can spend the whole day with your furry friends! I already live in a safe environment (near Leiden Lammenschans) here we have lots of greenery where me and your pet pal take a safe walk outside, get some fresh air. “We had such a fantastic experience with Megan and her partner Ryenn! Before the booking, we did a pre-meet and it was clear right away that they were absolute naturals with dogs. Beanie, our mini Teckel/ Dachshund, loved them from the very first moment and that immediately put us at ease. Whilst we were away they stuck closely to Beanie’s routine, which I'm sure really helped her feel at home. They took her on walks, played with her, and showered her with attention. They even tried to walk her in the rain (despite her strong opinions about that!) — it just showed how committed and thoughtful they were in giving her the best care. ‼️Please keep my pet preferences in mind, as I can't take care of large dogs, and I do not speak Dutch‼️ I am currently studying full term, and only have 2 classes a week. Besides this I spend my time at home playing videogames or working on my thesis. I also hang out with friends, but when im taking care of a fur baby, I make sure that their needs are met first or even inviting my friends over to my place for them to get double the care and love☺️ I have taken care of both dogs and cats before, and I make sure to spend time around them and see what they feel comfortable with! With dogs, I would prefer to walk them in more quiet places or their usual trail to make them feel comfortable! And when taking care of pets at home, I make sure windows are always closed and never leave out any food or dangerous items!

Over: Zelf heb ik al twee jaar een lieve en speelse labradoodle genaamd: Ollie. Het wandelen en spelen met honden vind ik ontzettend leuk en samen met Ollie bied ik een gezellige en leuke wandeling voor jouw hond! Momenteel studeer en werk ik daarnaast nog. Hierdoor ziet elke week voor mij er net anders uit en heb ik net andere uren. Maar hierbuiten heb ik genoeg tijd om te lopen met de honden. In mijn omgeving is er veel ruimte om leuk te wandelen. Er is een klein (omheind) losloopgebied 2 minuten verder van mijn huis en ook ben ik met de auto binnen 20 minuten bij het strand of grotere losloopgebieden.

Over: I'm a young professional that works from home and have some extra free time and LOVE caring for dogs. So this is the perfect opportunity for me and I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs on Rover, after graduating from undergrad I took up dog sitting and I have watched homes and pets while family is out of town since then. I am very flexible and reliable and would have a great time with your pet! Why I love dog sitting: I had a dog who I was extremely close with and since his passing I miss a dog's companionship. Because of school and work I'm not able to take care of a dog full time so in the meantime I would love to keep yours company! I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport over 10 miles away, a fee of $1/mile (for example: if required to drive 40 miles roundtrip, the fee will be $20) will be applied to your booking. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a balcony (with a serious fence). There is an elevator as well for the seniors! We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: the world does not end from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect that. I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!
