“Since I’ve been friends with Micaela, dogs have always been part of her personality and lifestyle. Micaela and her family have rescued and fostered many dogs and showered them with love, protection and brought fun and confidence back into their lives. Over: My family and I have had a hunting dog since I was 5 years old. I went to dog school with him, agility training and took him literally wherever I went with me. Unfortunately, as I am now studying abroad and am no longer in Berlin (my hometown), I miss him very much and would love to look after another dog in my free time. Since I mainly just study, I have a lot of time around it and would love to take care of a dog and walk/spend time with him/her. At most 2 dogs at a time, so I can devote more quality time to them.

Maria is trilingual, expanding our dog's vocabulary beyond ruffs and yips to high-pitched (yet somehow adorable) phrases in Spanish and English (and I think a bit of broken Dutch sprinkled in). She is picky about the dogs she associates with, prancing with only the happiest of furballs through parks and city streets, so we're always confident that our dog won't pick up on bad nipping habits, or worse, become a gossip. Maria always delivers him back happy, exhausted, on time (if an end time is requested), and ready for a little puppy snooze.”
