Over: Lifelong dog lover offering reliable care! I grew up with pups and have my own friendly dog. I provide walks and visits, follow your schedule, and treat your pet like family. Although I work full-time, I always make sure the dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I work alternating shifts, which gives me flexibility throughout the day. Even when I have an early shift, I'm used to early mornings, so getting up at 4 a.m. isn't a problem for me. Dogs staying with me will enjoy at least four walks a day: one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and two more walks before bedtime. I also spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to explore, exercise, and have fun. I understand that every dog has different needs. If your dog prefers to walk alone or isn't comfortable with other dogs, I'm more than happy to take them on separate walks. I don't use a crate unless that's part of your dog's normal routine and you specifically request it. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they're with me. I can easily take care of your dog's or cats special needs, my own dog is allergic to chicken and is very picky. I have lots of patience and I would care for it as for my own baby.

Over: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very pet-loving family where we always had at least three dogs, sometimes four, alongside rabbits, fish, and other pets. Over the years I’ve lived with and cared for a wide variety of different breeds, including Bernese Mountain Dogs, Newfoundlands, a Cocker Spaniel mix, a Maltese Poodle, and a Boerboel. Having had both giant breeds and smaller dogs as pets has really taught me how different every dog is and how important it is to adapt to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. I regularly took our three Bernese Mountain Dogs on hikes in the mountains and on adventures to forests and lakes, while our smaller dogs much preferred a relaxing walk on the beach or park. I now work from home full-time, with no pets currently, and live just a short walk from Vondelpark, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of attention, walks and playtime throughout the day. I live in a calm, pet-friendly apartment with a secure balcony and easy access to Vondelpark. I will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise, and house rules, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away without a worry!

Over: I moved here recently here with my partner and I am taking a break from nursing to pursue other things! I love dogs which is why I have my own dog named Andie, who I am home with most days. We welcome dogs into our home, and your dog can have a little playdate! I have experience with separation anxiety, and I will honor whatever care plan that you may have in place. I can administer medications and make sure your dog feels welcome and secure. I will provide as many updates you like on your pup because I know what it’s like to feel anxious about not being around them. My home is open to your fur baby! I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. I’ll initially watch them closely to assess how they interact in their home. I do this for my own understanding so I can best read their needs.

Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.

Over: Wij zijn twee echte hondenliefhebbers die graag voor jouw hond zorgen. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, heb ik alle tijd en aandacht om jouw hond een fijne dag te bezorgen. Mijn vriend heeft ruim 10 jaar ervaring met honden en is opgegroeid met een hond vanaf zijn zevende. Daarnaast passen we regelmatig op het hondje van een vriendin. We wonen in Amsterdam, maar maken graag lange wandelingen in het Vondelpark of rijden naar een mooi natuurgebied voor extra avontuur. Bij ons krijgt jouw hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, ben ik veel thuis en kan ik mijn dag volledig afstemmen op de behoeften van jouw hond. Dat betekent alle tijd voor wandelingen, spelen, knuffelen en de verzorging die jouw hond gewend is. Mijn vriend werkt fulltime, maar is ’s avonds en in het weekend ook graag betrokken. Samen zorgen we voor een rustige, liefdevolle en betrouwbare omgeving waarin jouw hond zich snel thuis zal voelen. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houd ik zoveel mogelijk de dagelijkse routine aan die hij of zij gewend is, zoals vaste wandelmomenten, etenstijden en eventuele medicatie. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

Over: Wij zijn Wesley en Kim. Grote dierenvrienden. Wij hebben zelf jaren lang een hondje mogen hebben, maar helaas is onze lieverd in 2022 overleden. Daarna verwelkomde wij ons zoontje Kai. Met een Baby en nog een lieve kat in huis hadden we besloten geen nieuwe viervoeter erbij te nemen. Inmiddels is ons zoontje 3 jaar en net zo’n dierenvriend als zijn ouders. Omdat het nu nog niet helemaal past in ons gezin lijkt het ons super leuk, om af en toe te kunnen genieten van een hondje bij ons thuis! We wonen vlakbij het haarlemmermeersebos in Hoofddorp waar we graag komen voor een wandeling. Ook is er, achter onze woning, een honden uitlaat gebied. Kim werkt drie dagen en in die dagen zal Wesley de zorg op zich nemen, hij werkt vanuit huis. Willen jullie lekker een weekendje weg? Breng jullie viervoeter gerust bij ons! Tijdens de drie werkdagen van Kim, werkt Wesley vanuit huis. Zo zorgen wij ervoor dat er altijd iemand bij jullie hondje aanwezig is. Wij kunnen, naast een keer een boodschap te doen, alle tijd steken in jouw hondje. Wij hebben een omheinde tuin die grenst aan een (los)loopgebied voor honden. Zelf hebben wij een kat die honden altijd goed accepteert (wij nemen alleen honden aan die katten gewend zijn) en een zoontje van drie jaar oud. Honden mogen bij ons lekker relaxen op de bank of op bed! Wij zijn heel graag buiten te vinden dus aan wandelingetjes zal het niet tekort komen.

She agreed to watch my dog less than 12 hours in advance, and then agreed to meet me at the train station instead of me dropping off the dog at her place, which shows how kind and thoughtful and helpful she is!!! The weekend that my dog spent at her place was amazing too. I got updates 5+ times per week, with pictures of my dog, my dog was walked for multiple hours a day, she was allowed everywhere in the house; and Lada was veryyyy attentive to her needs and always checked in with me on what she could do extra. She even invited me for tea after the dog stay. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more, i’d trust her to watch my dog anytime!”

Over: Ik ben Bibi, een vrouw van 40. Ik ben opgegroeid met altijd twee honden thuis (cocker spaniels en daarna terriers) en ben een echte honden liefhebber. Ik heb ook veel opgepast op honden van andere mensen. Ik houd heel erg van knuffelen, wandelen en spelen, en ben tegelijkertijd duidelijk in de regels. Ik vind het leuk om een band op te bouwen met een hond, en ook om op pad te gaan met hem/haar bijv naar het park of strand. Momenteel werk ik niet, dus ben ik veel thuis. Ik ga natuurlijk wel de deur uit, maar er is dus genoeg tijd om je hond te verzorgen! Ik heb een groot appartement met grote woonkamer en een kleine veranda met stenen omheining waar de hond onmogelijk uit kan ontsnappen. Als je hond in een bench slaapt dan is het handig om die mee te geven.
