My apartment is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, located in a quiet area of Amstelveen with many parks nearby for safe walks. We really appreciated that they took him on plenty of walks, keeping him active, and they spent lots of time playing with him as well. Major highlight for us was how frequently (3+ times/day) they kept us updated. After every walk, they sent us messages and lots of photos, so we always knew how Aki was doing. It gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Cristina even sewed a couple of Aki’s toys after he destroyed them! They took excellent care of Aki, and it was clear that he felt completely at home with them. I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a balcony (with a serious fence). There is an elevator as well for the seniors! We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: the world does not end from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect that. I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.
