Op de dagen dat het in Nederland tegen de 35 of zelfs 40 graden werd, stonden er in de woonkamer een mobiele airco en ventilatoren. Michelle woont in het huis waar ook de honden verblijven dus ze krijgen de aandacht die ze verdienen. We weten niet of de honden ook altijd op het veld achter het huis kunnen spelen wanneer de honden dit zelf willen. Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: I’ve taken care of my cat since I was 14 years old. Also, I’ve taken care of my cousin’s and aunt’s dogs whenever they were going on vacation. Already three years since I started to take care of other dogs and cats here in Amsterdam. I am currently working full time at a hotel. I have different shifts during the week, such a as morning and late, but I can be flexible if needed to take care of a furry friend. To take care of my furry friends, I play with them a lot, I like to talk to them, pet them and also going for a walk, give them treats from time to time, if the parents have a nice yard I love to play catch the ball and never get tired of it.

“Melissa was outstanding. She is very responsive and was the perfect host for Vayu, he was taken for walks and ate well. Vayu came back refreshed and in a good mood, so he obviously enjoyed the stay. Vayu got along very well with Melissa's pet dog as well. Melissa also kept in touch during the stay and we were very comfortable and able to fully trust her. She even brought one of Vayu's toys that we forgot in her house. Overall a great person and pet care taker and very responsible. We would love to send Vayu back for another stay if schedules work out well.”

Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. So this isn't a new hobby for me, it's something I've genuinely loved my whole life. Good with big (25kg max) and small dogs! I’m working for freelance as an artist. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! I live in a studio appartement with concrete floor that is very easy to clean. I have a balcony that is safe for small dogs as well, and of course enough space for setting up a dog bed in the living room !
