Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.

Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. I’ve worked for a dog walking company for about a year which I absolutely adored, but also couldn’t keep doing due to my studies. I’ve trained my Old German Shepherd dog (who lives with my parents) through a trainer and learned how to train dogs quite well. Through the dog walking company I also got to be a dog sitter multiple times, for multiple days at a time. Most dogs trust me from the moment they meet me, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I combine genuine love for dogs with real hands on experience, training knowledge, and a calm, trustworthy presence dogs naturally respond to. My 10-year-old daughter loves dogs too and helps with brushing their hair, feeding and playing with them.

Over: We recently moved to Amsterdam from Minneapolis, USA. I am a dog lover for sure. Today I have an 8 month Yorkie who loves playing with other puppies. I enjoy teaching her new tricks and taking her for walks for her to explore the world. Would love to take care of another dog as it would make me and my puppy happy. I take care of my own dog, therefore taking care of another dog will be quite easy. I do frequent bathroom breaks and walks to help with energy. I have a 2 bedroom spacious apartment with a balcony with a peepad. The are I live in is walk friendly and super safe to walk the dogs.

Over: I’ve taken care of my cat since I was 14 years old. Also, I’ve taken care of my cousin’s and aunt’s dogs whenever they were going on vacation. Already three years since I started to take care of other dogs and cats here in Amsterdam. I am currently working full time at a hotel. I have different shifts during the week, such a as morning and late, but I can be flexible if needed to take care of a furry friend. To take care of my furry friends, I play with them a lot, I like to talk to them, pet them and also going for a walk, give them treats from time to time, if the parents have a nice yard I love to play catch the ball and never get tired of it.

In the past years, I regularly sat with my friend's cats and dogs when they traveled, and helped with neighbors' pets too. I love and care deeply about pets and always take the best care of them, so you can be sure your pet will be in the best hands. I'm currently working part-time and working from home. My schedule is very flexible, and I am free on weekends. I can also stay overnight or on holidays if needed. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that is safe and has enough space for both cats and dogs to play! I can also arrange a dedicated area for toys and sleep/bed.
