I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛

Nicolette watched my dog Remo for more than two weeks, and she was fantastic. She shared photos regularly and treated him like family. Her place is lovely, and Remo felt right at home. I got to enjoy a completely tension-free vacation thanks to her!

Schedule
I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :)

I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning walk through the neighbourhood, letting them take their time to sniff around. If they enjoy socialising, we'll meet other dogs along the way; if they're more reserved, we'll find a quiet route instead. When I dog-sit, I work from home instead of the office, which means lots of company, cuddle breaks, garden time, and little play sessions throughout the day. On Fridays and weekends, I'm fully available, so we have even more time for long walks, exploring, playtime, and plenty of attention. In the afternoon, we'll usually go on a longer walk and, if the weather is nice, spend a little extra time exploring the neighbourhood. In the evening, we'll wind down with some cuddles, quiet time before getting cosy and ready for bed.
