Over: I grew up with a golden retriever and every time I go at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. Over: I've been caring for friends' and relatives' pets for years while they're away on vacation, often staying in their homes to provide consistent care and companionship. I've also provided boarding for longer stays, including pets who have stayed with me for two to three weeks at a time. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting outside for long walks and making sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time
Over: I have been taking care of dogs since over 10 years ago. I LOVE dogs, positive trainning and dog wellbeing. I am happy fun person and I like to spend my time with dogs and walking. I have normally full availability the weekends and during the week after 18:30pm. After September I will have full availability for both boarding and staying over. Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding during the week and at weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. A few years later, I am now living in Amsterdam, working full-time with dogs at a fantastic farm facility outside of the city, and finishing up my Master's degree. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Because of my professional background managing packs, safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities, whether looking after a pet in my home or yours.

I learnt the most is that each pet has their own characteristics. For my dog she’s a bit shy, so at first not only teach her to do tricks, we encourage her to socialize with other dogs. But gradually I found out that, it is just not her - and as long as she felt safe and comfortable, that’s all we ask for. So not only treat each pet with care, I also treat them with respect and love! I’m currently working part time until September, so the schedule might be flexible. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Connor has separation anxiety, returned to us very ‘normal’ no signs of stress or anxiety, just happy. They took such great care of him, sent us plenty of updates and pictures, and accepted Connor as part of the roedel. We’re so very glad to have found Michelle and Theo. They live in an absolute paradise for dogs, and only minutes outside central Amsterdam. An absolute aanrader. Over: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life, getting to bond easily with them, specially dogs… I’ve been cat, dog and bird sitting all around the world. My daily goal is to walk 10.000 steps a day, so I am taking walking breaks from work and is the way that I start and finish my day. It would even better to walk with a dog. I make sure they have water and food when needed and walk the dogs after each meal and always find the best stick to play. With cats I clean the litter every day and brush their hair if they have it long. I would try to keep their owners rules at mine but if they convince me to be on my couch with puppy eyes it won’t be my fault.

“Such a lovely human and real animal lover. I left my rather high-maintenance golden retriever foster with her for over two weeks, and Sacha was just fantastic. My dog absolutely loves her, which is the most important, but she is very attuned to his needs and emotions. She shared lots of wonderful photos and videos and checked in with us often. She even indulged me on his birthday and took a really cute video cutting his birthday cupcake! She also is good with reinforcing training and working on different behavioral and social skills. Super happy, could not recommend her more. I used this site myself to care for dogs and I know she really is a rarity.”

Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time
Over: I have been taking care of dogs since over 10 years ago. I LOVE dogs, positive trainning and dog wellbeing. I am happy fun person and I like to spend my time with dogs and walking. I have normally full availability the weekends and during the week after 18:30pm. After September I will have full availability for both boarding and staying over. I live in a very big flat surrounded by parks and nice areas to walk with your dog. I also have my bike to travel to your own area and I am always eager to explore new natural areas with your dog :) If your pet is a cat I can stay over or also not stay during the night but spend the day :)
Over: I grew up with a golden retriever and every time I go at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. So this isn't a new hobby for me, it's something I've genuinely loved my whole life. Good with big (25kg max) and small dogs! I’m working for freelance as an artist. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! I live in a studio appartement with concrete floor that is very easy to clean. I have a balcony that is safe for small dogs as well, and of course enough space for setting up a dog bed in the living room !
