Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. Over: Wij hebben jaren lang verschilldende honden gehad op dit moment hebben wij Terror onze mopshondxfranse bulldog. Grote honden en kleine honden het maakt mij niet uit. Wij hebben een tuin, en voldoende uitlaat gelegenheden in de omgeving. Enkele keren in de week gaan wij naar grote uitlaat parken. Wij hebben thuis de mogelijkheid tot wassen en verzorgen van de dieren die wij ontvangen.

Over: Zelf heb ik al twee jaar een lieve en speelse labradoodle genaamd: Ollie. Het wandelen en spelen met honden vind ik ontzettend leuk en samen met Ollie bied ik een gezellige en leuke wandeling voor jouw hond! Momenteel studeer en werk ik daarnaast nog. Hierdoor ziet elke week voor mij er net anders uit en heb ik net andere uren. Maar hierbuiten heb ik genoeg tijd om te lopen met de honden. In mijn omgeving is er veel ruimte om leuk te wandelen. Er is een klein (omheind) losloopgebied 2 minuten verder van mijn huis en ook ben ik met de auto binnen 20 minuten bij het strand of grotere losloopgebieden.

Over: Hoi ik ben Monique, ik ben gek op dieren. Ik heb zelf een hondje van gemengd ras ( was een zwerfhondje meegenomen uit Bulgarije). Ik heb ook nog 2 katten en 2 vogeltjes. Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. I’ve worked for a dog walking company for about a year which I absolutely adored, but also couldn’t keep doing due to my studies. I’ve trained my Old German Shepherd dog (who lives with my parents) through a trainer and learned how to train dogs quite well. Through the dog walking company I also got to be a dog sitter multiple times, for multiple days at a time. Most dogs trust me from the moment they meet me, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I combine genuine love for dogs with real hands on experience, training knowledge, and a calm, trustworthy presence dogs naturally respond to. Having worked professionally as both a dog walker and a sitter, I’m very comfortable handling responsibility, routine and unexpected situations. Whether it’s a young energetic dog that needs structure and routine, or an older or more sensitive pup that needs patience and reassurance, I naturally adjust to what the dog needs. I also genuinely love spending time with dogs. Even though medicine takes up most of my time right now, dogs have always been the thing that grounds me and brings me joy. That means that when I care for someone’s dog, I don’t just do it as a side job, I do it with real attention and enthusiasm. You can rest assured: your dog will be safe with me. I’m currently working part time and studying full time until the end of june 2026.I will adjust my schedule based on the needs of your dog, meaning that when I accept your pet sitting request, caring for your dog will be the center of my attention. I care for your pet in whatever way you want or need me to! I live on the ground floor with no roommates, in a 42 square meter apartment. I have the Amsterdamse Bos at just walking distance and will always make time for a long walk once a day.

The small balcony is covered by tall long glassess so there is no possibility to fall. Both indoors and outdoor balcony is safe.
Happy to answer any questions you may have and hope to meet your fur baby soon! I am currently not working full time so I have enough time and attention to give. I take the pets I care for a walk minimum 2 times per day and play with them often. In my apartment outdoor balcony is covered by long tall glassess and indoor glassess are also quite well covered so there is no possibility to fall.
