Over: Fluent in english and spanish I know dogs very well and love them immeasurably, they’ve been with me at home since I was born. When I was 13, I was in charge of our new puppy (scheduling vet visits, vaccines, feeding and more), and then the 4 other dogs that came after. I trained all of them. In my early 20s, I walked and trained dogs as a side job and hobby. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, as well as with dogs that require medication on a daily or hourly basis. I’m very fond of cats, too, but sadly there weren’t any cats in my family home while I was growing up because my brother was allergic. However, from the moment I started living alone (roughly 10 years ago), different cats would always come to visit, and I am so happy to have been able to host them all. Currently I have Bagheera as a weekly visitor; he is a sassy and absolutely lovely black cat. Unfortunately I am living in a flat where I cannot have pets, so (eventhough Bagheera's occasionally pop-in makes me glad) I am missing more animal company a lot I’ve had the best time taking care of different cats, dogs and plants for friends at their homes many times At the moment I’m available to walk, train, play with, and/or pet sit at any time during the weekdays and weekends, preferably in the morning and early afternoon, though I am flexible I will adapt to the routine that you and your furry companion/s already have and I commit to keep you updated with regular photos and videos, I know from the hearth how nice that feels :) I will ask you about any allergies, patterns you've noticed in them, remnants of previous traumas, fears, whether they get along well with other dogs or cats, etc, all of this so that I can be prepared and know how to react; this will also help me to start building a bond in good terms while respecting their boundaries. Additionally I'll ask about their favourite treats, meals, toys and places, this simply because I am curious to know about what brings them joy and to incorporate that into positive reinforcement

“I was a little nervous about having Maggie board with Antonella and Mati as normally a housesitter comes to my house. But from the first moment they made her feel welcome and at home. When I came to pick her up I got the chance to observe her out on a walk and saw she was completely happy and content. When she saw me she gave me a delighted wag and jump and then turned her attention back to Mati! That, and the warm messages and lovely photos I received while I was away, means i really feel I struck gold with this wonderful couple. Thank you and hope to see you again!!”

Over: I have worked as a Rover dog and cat sitter in New York, Washington DC, and Now here in the Netherlands. I have 2 different places, one in Amsterdam and one in Utrecht so I'm extremely flexible and I have so much experience with following the needs of your pets as needed. I have a very early schedule so I am always home from 1 PM- to the evening for any drop in visits, boarding, etc. I speak Spanish as well so I can speak to any multilingual pets. My neighborhood is extremely pet friendly and so much space and grass for nice peaceful walks and extremely accessible to trams and metro to go to any place needed and not too far from the vet if there's an emergency!

I prefer to have dogs over when I am home, so I can supervise them. Weekends are free to have them over or go for a walk. Bright and large apartment with elevator. No staircases at all. Dog safe and all doors can be closed. No children or hazardous elements in the flat.

Over: I’ve taken care of 3 dogs and 2 cats over the past 3 years. Im patient and caring. Always make sure there’s clear and continuous communication. Apart from pet-sitting, it’d be lovely to make some friends too! I work from home as a website manager. I usually go out during lunch break so that’s a perfect timing for walking the dogs as well as getting some fresh air. We have a lot of nice green space in our neighbourhood which is perfect to play with the dogs.
