We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: nobody has died from a dog on the couch. Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

Over: Sinds ik mijn hond Kaya uit Roemenië heb geadopteerd, heb ik veel trainingen en cursussen gevolgd om hondengedrag en lichaamstaal beter te begrijpen. Ik heb gewerkt als hondenuitlater in Amsterdam en ben gewend om met roedels van vijf honden te lopen. Ik vind het heerlijk om op honden te passen, omdat ze bij mij thuis echt tot rust kunnen komen, maar ook mee kunnen naar het bos voor lange wandelingen en om de natuur te verkennen. Het allerbelangrijkste voor mij is dat alle honden zich op hun gemak voelen. Ik werk momenteel parttime en zal binnenkort bijna fulltime thuis zijn, omdat ik op afstand ga werken, slechts een paar uur per dag. Dat betekent dat ik veel tijd heb om van de honden te genieten en samen naar buiten te gaan. Ik zorg er altijd voor dat de honden hun eigen bench of mand hebben om in te slapen wanneer we thuis zijn. Er zijn altijd snacks beschikbaar, en eventuele dieetwensen kunnen van tevoren aan mij worden doorgegeven. Buiten staat veiligheid voorop. Wanneer een hond voor het eerst bij mij verblijft, gebruik ik een lijn van 5 meter zodat de hond vrijheid heeft, maar we ook goed kunnen oefenen met terugroepen en een sterke band kunnen opbouwen. Het doel is om de honden in een roedelwandeling mee het bos in te nemen, zodat ze daarna thuis kunnen uitrusten en zich voldaan voelen.

Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. Er is een klein (omheind) losloopgebied 2 minuten verder van mijn huis en ook ben ik met de auto binnen 20 minuten bij het strand of grotere losloopgebieden.

Over: Ik ben al mijn hele leven omringd door dieren en ik vind ze ook helemaal te gek. Ik heb 2 jaar de opleiding dierenarts assistent paraveterinair gedaan, maar niet doorgegaan ermee omdat ik toch erachter kwam dat de gezonde dieren meer voor mij waren bestemd, ik kan hierdoor een gezondheidscheck bij uw huisdier uitvoeren als u dit wilt. Ik heb sinds kort een puppy en heb haar zelf opgevoed met behulp van mijn vriend, dit is heel goed gegaan, ze luistert goed en weet wat wel en niet mag. Ik heb ook nog 4 katten thuis en een paar reptielen. Ik ben voor geen enkel dier bang en ik houd van lange wandelingen lopen. Ik hoop jullie binnenkort te zien. I’m comfortable with routines, walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets calm, loving attention. I’m responsible, patient, and affectionate, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. During the week, I work as an au pair from 7:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–8:00 PM. This gives me a large free time window late in the morning and early afternoon, ideal for dog walks, feeding cats, or short check-in visits. I’m also available early mornings and in the evenings when needed. On weekends, I’m fully flexible and available for longer stays or extended pet care. I’m a calm, patient, and empathetic person who helps pets feel safe and comfortable. I respect routines, boundaries, and individual needs, and I take my responsibility as a pet sitter very seriously. Over: Sinds ik heel jong ben laat ik al de honden uit van buren, vrienden en familie. Dit is altijd al een grote hobby geweest. Daarom heb ik later van mijn hobby mijn baan gemaakt en werkte ik als verzorger bij een hondenpension. Ik heb hierom veel ervaring met honden. Ik werk momenteel parttime met een wisselend rooster. Hierom heb ik veel tijd om met uw hond te gaan wandelen of spelen. Laat me weten wanneer ik nodig ben, en ik zal daar zijn! Over: Hoi ik ben Monique, ik ben gek op dieren. Ik heb zelf een hondje van gemengd ras ( was een zwerfhondje meegenomen uit Bulgarije). Ik heb ook nog 2 katten en 2 vogeltjes. Ik heb mijn hele leven dieren gehad honden,katten,vogels,een konijn en een cavia. Ik heb veel ervaring met het verzorgen van verschillende diersoorten. Ik kan dus eventueel op meerdere dierensoorten passen. Ik pas regelmatig met veel plezier op katten en honden van vrienden en buren. Ik help regelmatig een vriendin van mij die een cavia opvang heeft. Ik heb als vrijwilliger gewerkt in een dierenasiel waar ik dan ook de honden uitliet,met de katten bezig was, kattenbak verschonen,eten geven en natuurlijk spelen met ze. Ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die er alles aan doet om het voor uw dier een fijne dag te maken als u er niet bent.

Over: I’m an master student in UvA and VU. I normally walk them 3 times a day. Each one takes 25-40 mins. I don’t have any pets in my apartment(a studio without backyard). But I have a lot of time to keep your baby company. Pets are allowed on furniture while in my place unless that’s not ok with you. I got two dogs back in China and have plenty experience with rescued dogs. I’ve been looking after pets from shelters and of friends. Btw they are always looking for adopters for the furry babies at this shelter and now that winter is here we need this more than ever. Over: Ik heb sinds mijn tiende voor veel verschillende soorten honden gezorgd. Mijn familie en vrienden vroegen me dan om hun huisdieren uit te laten, voer te geven en met ze te spelen. Over: Hi, I’m Julia! I’m 27 years old, born and raised on a Swedish farm and now studying a Masters in Communication Science at UvA. I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a large balcony (with a serious fence). We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: nobody has died from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect his/her boundaries ;) I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! Over: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life, getting to bond easily with them, specially dogs… I’ve been cat, dog and bird sitting all around the world. My daily goal is to walk 10.000 steps a day, so I am taking walking breaks from work and is the way that I start and finish my day. It would even better to walk with a dog. I make sure they have water and food when needed and walk the dogs after each meal and always find the best stick to play. With cats I clean the litter every day and brush their hair if they have it long. I would try to keep their owners rules at mine but if they convince me to be on my couch with puppy eyes it won’t be my fault.
