Over: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very pet-loving family where we always had at least three dogs, sometimes four, alongside rabbits, fish, and other pets. Over the years I’ve lived with and cared for a wide variety of different breeds, including Bernese Mountain Dogs, Newfoundlands, a Cocker Spaniel mix, a Maltese Poodle, and a Boerboel. Having had both giant breeds and smaller dogs as pets has really taught me how different every dog is and how important it is to adapt to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. I regularly took our three Bernese Mountain Dogs on hikes in the mountains and on adventures to forests and lakes, while our smaller dogs much preferred a relaxing walk on the beach or park. I now work from home full-time, with no pets currently, and live just a short walk from Vondelpark, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of attention, walks and playtime throughout the day. Over: Wij zijn Wesley en Kim. Grote dierenvrienden. Wij hebben zelf jaren lang een hondje mogen hebben, maar helaas is onze lieverd in 2022 overleden. Daarna verwelkomde wij ons zoontje Kai. Met een Baby en nog een lieve kat in huis hadden we besloten geen nieuwe viervoeter erbij te nemen. Inmiddels is ons zoontje 3 jaar en net zo’n dierenvriend als zijn ouders. Omdat het nu nog niet helemaal past in ons gezin lijkt het ons super leuk, om af en toe te kunnen genieten van een hondje bij ons thuis! We wonen vlakbij het haarlemmermeersebos in Hoofddorp waar we graag komen voor een wandeling. Ook is er, achter onze woning, een honden uitlaat gebied. Kim werkt drie dagen en in die dagen zal Wesley de zorg op zich nemen, hij werkt vanuit huis. Willen jullie lekker een weekendje weg? Breng jullie viervoeter gerust bij ons! Tijdens de drie werkdagen van Kim, werkt Wesley vanuit huis. Zo zorgen wij ervoor dat er altijd iemand bij jullie hondje aanwezig is. Wij kunnen, naast een keer een boodschap te doen, alle tijd steken in jouw hondje. Wij hebben een omheinde tuin die grenst aan een (los)loopgebied voor honden. Zelf hebben wij een kat die honden altijd goed accepteert (wij nemen alleen honden aan die katten gewend zijn) en een zoontje van drie jaar oud. Honden mogen bij ons lekker relaxen op de bank of op bed! Wij zijn heel graag buiten te vinden dus aan wandelingetjes zal het niet tekort komen.

Over: Lifelong dog lover offering reliable care! I grew up with pups and have my own friendly dog. I provide walks and visits, follow your schedule, and treat your pet like family. Although I work full-time, I always make sure the dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I work alternating shifts, which gives me flexibility throughout the day. Even when I have an early shift, I'm used to early mornings, so getting up at 4 a.m. isn't a problem for me. Dogs staying with me will enjoy at least four walks a day: one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and two more walks before bedtime. I also spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to explore, exercise, and have fun. I understand that every dog has different needs. If your dog prefers to walk alone or isn't comfortable with other dogs, I'm more than happy to take them on separate walks. I don't use a crate unless that's part of your dog's normal routine and you specifically request it. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they're with me. I can easily take care of your dog's or cats special needs, my own dog is allergic to chicken and is very picky. I have lots of patience and I would care for it as for my own baby.

Over: Ik ben Bibi, een vrouw van 40. Ik ben opgegroeid met altijd twee honden thuis (cocker spaniels en daarna terriers) en ben een echte honden liefhebber. Ik heb ook veel opgepast op honden van andere mensen. Ik houd heel erg van knuffelen, wandelen en spelen, en ben tegelijkertijd duidelijk in de regels. Ik vind het leuk om een band op te bouwen met een hond, en ook om op pad te gaan met hem/haar bijv naar het park of strand. Momenteel werk ik niet, dus ben ik veel thuis. Ik ga natuurlijk wel de deur uit, maar er is dus genoeg tijd om je hond te verzorgen! Ik heb een groot appartement met grote woonkamer en een kleine veranda met stenen omheining waar de hond onmogelijk uit kan ontsnappen. Als je hond in een bench slaapt dan is het handig om die mee te geven.

Over: Wij hebben jaren lang verschilldende honden gehad op dit moment hebben wij Terror onze mopshondxfranse bulldog. Grote honden en kleine honden het maakt mij niet uit. We hebben met beide ervaring. Mij man en ik zijn grote dierenliefhebbers. Wij hebben kennis en kunde over honden, katten, vogels , vissen etc. Mijn man is jarenlang eigenaar geweest van een dierenwinkel. Wij maken tijd voor de dieren die wij ontvangen, wij zijnzeer flexibel als wij een akkoord hebben berreikt in opvang of oppas dagen. Wij gaan er dan volledig voor. He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. Over: Sinds kleins af aan groei ik op met veel grote honden om me heen. Deze zijn onderdeel van onze familie en gaan overal mee naartoe. Mijn liefde voor mijn eigen honden beïnvloedt hoe ik met andere viervoeters omga, wat zorgvuldig en liefdevol is. Over: Zelf heb ik al twee jaar een lieve en speelse labradoodle genaamd: Ollie. I could even share the dogs' location so you can see where we are ;) I am retired and available a lot, and very flexible. You can call me any day to see if I am available any of the next days. (For multi day plans please contact me some days in advance.) I will give the dog the attention it needs, and help it to feel at ease. Dogs relax with me very quickly and will get all the cuddles they desire! I usually allow dogs on my couch, but if you want me to train them a certain way (like staying on the floor) that is fine too, of course. At my home we do have stairs, but of course I will carry the dog if needed. We have safety fences for babies and dogs on every floor.

Over: I have grown up around dogs. Most clients I have babysat for have dogs and I have one too. I love animals whether they are large, small, walk, hop, fly, swim or slither I have always enjoyed every creation. I think the world is a better place for having people like Jack Hanna, Cesar Milan, Steve Irwin, and there are too many to list! No other animal is used to aid the blind, and help fight wars. Dogs can teach us things and are excellent companions what's not to love? I am not ready to get a new one after loosing my dog to cancer less than a year ago. While I care for your pets in your home or mine I treat it like your most prized possession. Because that is what they are.

Over: Biggest fan of animals 😍 we always had pets when I was growing up and before I moved to Amsterdam, but hasn't worked out for me to have a pet since living here due to travels. Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

“On super short notice Megha and Ash took in our English Bulldog LouLou for a long weekend. They responded almost instantly, were extremely welcoming and finally made the stay for LouLou (and our family) super relaxed. She received all the attention she needed - and a lot more probably). Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. So this isn't a new hobby for me, it's something I've genuinely loved my whole life. Good with big (25kg max) and small dogs! I’m working for freelance as an artist. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! I live in a studio appartement with concrete floor that is very easy to clean. I have a balcony that is safe for small dogs as well, and of course enough space for setting up a dog bed in the living room !
